Subject: Thailand's Continued Adherence to the Bilateral Treaty
Security Type: NSST Architecture 1.5 | Secret and Encrypted

Prime Minister Htin Kyaw,

As the new Rotating Coordinator of the Socialist Republic of Thailand, I reaffirm our confederation of free communes' commitment to the Treaty on Border Security, Accountability, and Cooperation signed by our previous administration. We reiterate our acknowledgement and referral to the Global Assembly that our armed forces operating under our command had illegally invaded Myanmar territory, constituting a breach of your country's territorial integrity. This matter must be brought to the Global Assembly and my administration will cooperate fully with the procedures.

I inform you that all bordering provincial federations affected by our bilateral treaty have ratified he establishment of the demilitarized zones as per their democratic processes. Local law enforcement agencies are now aware of such changes and will cooperate with the Burmese authorities during the investigations and inspections. The Confederal Government reiterates that these police forces are under the civilian control of the Provincial governments and they will adhere to the Treaty provisions.

Yours sincerely,

Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit
Rotating Coordinator
Confederal Government
Socialist Republic of Thailand

From: Htin Kyaw, Prime Minister

Your Excellency,

The Empire of Myanmar appreciates your administration's reaffirmation of commitment to the Treaty on Border Security, Accountability, and Cooperation. We welcome Thailand's continued cooperation regarding the territorial violations and your willingness to engage with Global Assembly procedures. We are pleased to hear of the successful ratification of demilitarized zones by your affected provincial federations and look forward to enhanced cooperation between our respective law enforcement agencies during the upcoming investigations and inspections.

In the spirit of transparency that should govern our bilateral relations, I must inform you of recent developments regarding our border monitoring capabilities. Myanmar had originally planned to deploy Turkish Gözcü unmanned aerial vehicles along our shared border region to monitor for violations and criminal activities, including smuggling operations from both Burmese and Thai territories. These aircraft, while possessing average capabilities and below-average range for the modern day, would have been suitable for our surveillance requirements.

However, the bloodthirsty and imperialist nation of Sweden has inexplicably chosen to block this arrangement, demonstrating their continued interference in the sovereign affairs of nations throughout the world. We understand that Thailand and Sweden could have, in the past, been considered allies of sorts. Therefore, we hope that it was not your government's decision to push the Swedish into blocking this production with their minority share in the TAI company. If so, this would be a strong affront to us.

With that said, in response to this obstruction, Myanmar will instead deploy Bayraktar B Mini UAVs for our border monitoring operations. We inform Thailand of this adjustment in our commitment to maintaining open and honest dialogue between our nations—which we are in desperate need of.

We trust this change will not affect our cooperative efforts in securing our mutual border and combating transnational criminal activities.

Sincerely,
Htin Kyaw
Prime Minister
Empire of Myanmar
