Dear Phạm Văn Trà,

I am the Thai ambassador to Vietnam. The Foreign Minister sends me during their correspondence regarding the peace effort between Thailand and Laos with the President of Vietnam. Mister Trần Đức Lương had mentioned that he had a talked with the military in his country, which I assumed to be you or someone in Defence Ministry and the Armed Forces. We used to have a discussion in the past regarding the joint military exercise, but we did not possess any capability back then. We are now acquiring a hundred of Mannok-Class Landing Ship, which I will have the attachment of its specification below. The plan is still the same, which we will exercise to conduct an amphibious invasion of Samui Island (9.420720273302935, 99.99271836543674). We are looking for the Vietnamese force that has the specialist below:

• 120 Infantry Fighting Vehicle operators or crew for 30 BMP-3
• 180 Armored Personnel Carrier operator or crew for 45 BTR-90
• 180 Military armored mobility vehicles for 36 GAZ Tigr
• 80 Self-propelled gun operator for 20 M109A2 howitzer
• 15 Tank crews for 5 T-90S
• 24 Tank Destroyer crews for 6 M1134 Stryker ATGM
• 15 Combat Engineering Vehicle operators for 5 IMR-2 Combat Engineering Vehicle
• 20 Armored Recovery Vehicle operators for 5 BREM-1 Armored Recovery Vehicle
• 429 Marines for 13 Mannok-class Laning Ship

We are willing to supply and provide the transportation for the Vietnamese troop with our Lockheed C-130E Hercules. I can discuss this with you via phone or in-person if you still have any questions. I will be waiting for your reply.
