(Flower Garden of the Great King, at its yearly opening in Isfahan, 15. Dei 2566 / 05.01.2008)
*****
"My dear fellow Iranians, children of Ēran and subjects of many tribes and nations, from the four corners of the world and all 31 ostans of my beloved country.
Today, on Dībmehr, I greet not only you but, on this early day in the new international year 2008, I also greet all friends and honourable guests of Iran, whether they are here or in the far reaches of the world.
The world has always known change, and we, my dynasty and the great Ahura Mazda, may he always enlighten us with his truth, know this as well. It has not been five years since we have established a fair government once again in our homeland, guided by the fires of Ahura Mazda, and dedicated to all of you, my subjects and citizens of this great and ancient nation.
Never before has a Shah spoken to you, honourable men, women, and children of Ēran, on this day of flowers, which has always been a festival of the people. I do not stand here today to take it from you, but to dedicate this, my dynasty, which stands in the shadow of all the children of Kūruš, to you. We are no longer in the days where a corrupt and misguided clergy guides our country, holding in its hands a puppet government. But we are also no longer in the days where a prime minister must ask for absolute power from his own parliament and king, or where that king rules, like the Haxāmanišya of old, in absolute power.
I stand here today as I share the watch over this land with all of you, my people, as you, whether noble or common, elect and form our government. And just as I have placed this new constitution into your hands, so on this day I renew my dedication to you. May Iran, and you my people, blossom like the flowers you plant, visit, and celebrate today. And as I gift you this garden of mine in our City of Flowers, may I also see and forever watch this, our country, like the holy flame of Ahura Mazda himself, which never flickers but enlightens the eternal darkness with its eternal light.
So let me greet you for the first time as my most noble citizens, as my dynasty greeted only its brothers in kingship:
Rest in peace, for we keep watch, and we will always keep watch."

The Office of the Shah'an'shah announces that, in celebration of this year by the Haxāmanišyan dynasty and King of Kings Gustasp III, the gardens of Persepolis will be open to the public for 14 days.
It also announces that any foreign official visiting the country may request an audience with the Great King. The Office further accepts international requests for interviews, provided the subject concerns the greeting of the Shahanshah to his people and nation, as previously the Shah did not grant interviews categorically.
(OOC: Anyone who is interested may request either a conversation or an interview; the latter may also be used later in one’s own media play.)
