Good Afternoon,
As you may be aware, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is presently a full time member of the World Trade Forum, having paid the total membership fee of $1.5bn. Throughout this period, the World Trade Forum was to be the designated point of establishing and maintaining trade routes between the United Kingdom and others that are part of the World Trade Forum to ensure fair, equal and consistent trade between countries. I am unsure if communication may have been lost in transit, but we have not heard of any developments to show that membership has been beneficial nor that the funding we had put into the organisation for membership, has been used to better the group and develop it further. Therefore, I request a list of activities since entering full membership for what the World Trade Forum has handled in relation to trade with the UK.
Reviewing recent transactions, aside from accepting membership fees from others such as India and providing a substantial amount of tax to the United States Government; we are yet to see action and unless evidence can be provided, will be cancelling membership and seeking a full refund given payment was submitted in full, and nothing promised has been delivered.
Kind Regards,
Edward Murray
Chancellor of the Exchequer
