President Fox,

While the Federal Government has much of its efforts and focus on the war with Turkey and Saudi Arabia I have been kept up to date with the internal struggles that you are facing in Mexico. While we have a significant amount of our forces committed overseas we still have an exceptional amount of resources in North America. Is there any form of support that the United States Federal Government or the United States armed forces can offer Mexico at this time? If there are any cartel members that your government knows of in the United States, I could see to their apprehension and deportation to Mexico if you can provide us with direct evidence. I look forward to hearing back from you.

President Gore, It is a pleasure to hear from you despite current the circumstances. I understand that you must be quite busy, and I pray for your Armed Forces in bringing a swift end to that bloody war. Know that you have my support as well as the citizens of Mexico. As to what the United States could do with the struggles in Mexico, I would request that you keep a sharp look out on your borders for any cartel members attempting to flee. I must admit this is the first time many of my Armed Forces have seen combat and as a result are quite green. Currently I have been told that we now hold the outskirts of Tijuana and Juárez as well as set up check points before entering the U.S. border. The Military Police Corps has taken point on all operations. I ask that you keep a sharp look out on your side of the border for any cartel members attempting to flee. Many of the gangs in America hold cartel members within their ranks. Our number one target is still at large, Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera, better known as 'El Chapo'. He recently escaped prison last year and is suspect to be running the Cali Cartel once more. He was stationed out of Tijuana last time and we suspect that he is there once more, however he may attempt to go over the border, he may have escaped over the border already. The tunnel networks are quite extensive. As always, I would welcome DEA and FBI agents to assist in apprehensions of key targets. If you would like to assist militarily, I cannot condone any actions but what we don't know, won't hurt us. I must keep plausible deniability of foreign Armed Forces. Any members of the Cartel Alliance that you capture on the U.S. side may be tried in the United States for any crimes committed there, we would like to request trials in Mexico as well. From there we can discuss where they shall go to prison, although I am sure our justice systems can work out those details. As stated before please keep an eye out on your borders, specifically those of California and Texas. Fighting has yet to reach the New Mexico or Arizona borders, although that may change in the coming months. I would also like to request more military equipment to replace the pieces lost. I'll have my Secretary of Defense work out those details. I suspect he will be requesting a large order within the month. I look forward to working more closely with you.
