Greetings,

So far we are impressed with the Lockheed M-21 and Lockheed D-21 reconnaissance craft, as we have never had such capability in the past. Thus I would like to put in an order for 24 Lockheed A-12 which are the standard and original version of the Lockheed M-21. In fact, I would very much like to consider entering into a project in which we modernize and upgrade the aircraft with up to date equipment and electronics. Though I understand if you would not want to do so, as then it's capabilities may be to great for you to be willing to sell.

First Choice will consider a Joint Collaboration with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to extend the Performance of the Lockheed A-12, and her Derivative, the M-21. However, our Company will reserve the Full Rights (%) to the Product.
This Conversation is best served with a Visit to discuss your Exact Requirements. Unfortunately, I cannot attend in person but our Board of Director, Mr Steve Nichols is available.
In case you cannot accommodate Mr. Nichols at this time, perhaps a Private Conference Call?

The Lockheed A-12 is a Training Variant. With that in mind, do you still require the 24 on order? Starting price is $23,997,600.00 Per unit and $133,400,000.00 for the Maintenance License.

Greetings,

Just to clarify we want a standard Lockheed A-12, not its one off two seat trainer variant. I do suppose however that we could use a number of trainers so we can train pilots on a A-12 platform. Are the two the same price? If not what are the prices? For this order we will be looking to use our price discount you previously offered to us.

Apologies. The Starting Price of the Lockheed A-12 is $23,997,600.00 Per unit and $18,579,960.00 for the Trainer Variant, respectively. Would you mind confirming the exact Number of each Variant, the Vietnamese require?
The Discount is then applied to the end of your Order Total, excluding the Maintenance License Fee.

Greetings,

We would like 24 of the A-12 and 12 of the trainer variant. Now then on the topic of improving the product when is a in person meeting available? We would like to begin talks as soon as possible. For our current situation the A-12 serves perfectly fine, however the situation may change at some point. Thus we will need to make sure we are dealing with up to date electronics and sensors. I am sure you understand this, just as I am understanding that you would keep 100% of the rights to the variant.

The 24 Lockheed A-12 Aircraft, and 12 Trainer Variants are worth $852,411,728.00. This includes the 25% Discount offered to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Annual Maintenance License.
Our Board of Director, Mr Steve Nichols is immediately available to leave for Vietnam? Electronics and Sensors will bolster the performance of the Aircraft, but our Research must be thorough.
First Choice will do their best to match your Requirements, and your Expectations in this Joint Research Project.

Greetings,

We have transferred the funds for the purchase of the previously stated aircraft. I look forward to seeing them added to our roster. Now then, for upgrades we are looking for specific capabilities that were not available or possible when the A-12 was first introduced. A lack of capabilities that lead to the A-12 being phased out in the first place if I am not mistaken. So when you send Mr Steve Nichols it would be best to brief him on some of these capabilities we are looking for. Essentially we are interested in upgrading it so the aircraft has a ground link capability, able to communicate with troops on the ground and relay information to them. A live video feed that could be relayed to ground commanders and to the camera operator. This would require replacing the current film camera in use with the A-12. When able we are ready to receive Mr Steve Nichols.

The 230th SA Artillery Thong Nhat Regiment would prepare for the arrival of Mr. Steve Nichols at Noi Bai International Airport. A group of 16 PAVN Infantry divided into two sections were tasked with escorting Steve. Two Huemul Troopers would be fueled to have full fuel tanks with the correct and proper fuel. Oil would be checked and in general a pre drive safety inspection would take place. All of the PAVN Infantry would be wearing K07 BDU uniforms with polished combat boots. The Trung sĩ and Hạ sĩ each took with them a binocular, a map bag, compass, and a map. The two officers were armed with K14-VN pistols which were kept in leather holsters with a magazine already inserted. The currently inserted magazines had 13 rounds in them + 1 in the chamber. The rounds were surplus FMJ and they kept two spare and full 13 round magazines. The rest of the Infantry were armed with ACE 31 assault rifles with standard 30 round magazines. Everyone had a full canteen of water on their load bearing equipment and they also carried with them encrypted two way radios clipped to their load bearing equipment. Everyone had on their head a PASGT type Kevlar HELMET with K07 pattern helmet covers. They awaited the arrival of Steve and when he did arrive a set of jet stairs would be wheeled up to the presumably taxied and then parked aircraft with blocks at it's wheels and then secured in place. Once down the stairs he would of been escorted to the rear Huemul Trooper. 8 Infantry including the Trung sĩ would get into the rear Huemul trooper with them. 8 Infantry including the Hạ sĩ would get into the front Huemul trooper. Each vehicle would have a driver. Then with a car length between them they would depart the airport and drive to the Minister of Defence building.

Steve was a Simple Businessman, who did not anticipate an Audience. Unprepared for the Welcome by the 230th SA Artillery Thong Nhat Regiment, he followed behind the Escorts quietly. Tired, he briefed a Short smile to the Vietnamese, waiting paitently to arrive at the Ministry of Defence. He contacted First Choice about his change in itinerary and took small mouthfuls of Brewed Coffee to help him through the Negotiations. Once there, he shook hands with Ngô Xuân Lịch. "Hello, Hello..." Opening the Briefcase on the Table beside them. "Here. These are Documents on the Lockheed A-12. Eager as you are, I'm sure you have something in mind, already? Share your ideas and I'll see what we can do..."

"I would like to apologize if the welcoming surprised you, I believe that all guests should be welcomed with equal security. It also helps ensure that the men are prepared for all escort duties." The Minister of National Defence would state sinoky as he would receive the documents."Ah yes, thank you." he would say before clearing his throat."We will want to modernize the wiring, which should help cut down weight. I am thinking fiber optics should help cut down weight significantly. A digital camera array to replace the current camera array installed. Different modes if possible, as I know the different lenses can be heavy. Such as thermals and night vision. I want it to be able to capture video in real time, and have a data link. In which it can not only transmit back to base but to troops on ground. All of this will give it the capabilities we seek. Also I am not sure if you would be able to, but using modern machine tools could we cut the tolerances of the engine tighter to make it more efficient?"

"Don't apologise... On all accounts, the hospitality was a pleasant surprise. I'm nothing else but proud of your Security Force. I shouldn't have expected anything less from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Starting with a Data Link, do you require something similar to the Future Air Navigation System (FANS) ? These are used in Avionics, between the Pilot and Air Traffic Control. The Airbus A320 are already successfully equipped, operating within the Oceanic Regions. This, or something of an equivalent nature would certainly be advantageous to Vietnam with the assistance of Satellite Radar. Of course, I'm to understand the Socialist Republic of Vietnam have their own Space Agency? First Choice will share Technology in exchange for use. And the Digital Joint Reconnaissance Pod (DJRP) from Thales could be worthy of consideration, as these are designed to function with Ground Stations, via Datalink. These are Mounted, and easy to assemble. For measurement, the Saab Gripen are using these installations, providing outstanding levels of reconnaissance capability..."

"Something similar to that yes, but it will have to be able to transmit live video and pictures to people on the ground. If I recall one reason why such aircraft were dropped in the US was because it lacked that live capability. Also, you would be correct we do have our own space program set up. In fact we operate a number of weather satellites. I believe that we can arrange an agreement to allow First Choice to have access to our space agency and use their facilities. In fact, through dealings with Russia we have come to acquire a number of technologies. Two of which you may be interested in are Enrgia and Buran both programs meant to create a reusable space launch platform. The Buran was actually made to be better then the American Space shuttle and can even carry a ton more in weight."
