Greetings,

I know that our two nations have had their differences, however with the election of a temporary government in the refounded SRV and the extremists booted out I would like to extend a hand in friendship. To make amends and look to the future between our two nations. If willing I would like for there to be a meeting between our two nations where we can discuss our relations and where to go from there. Also I would be fairly interested in the prospect of military cooperation between Italy and Vietnam. if you wish for just a simple phone call that is fine with me.

I believe a preliminary phone call would be best to start with at this time. Would a phone call this evening be alright? Also, I would like to know where Italy Stands on the issue of the Paracel Islands which were taken from Vietnam by the PRC during our civil war.

Minister of National Defence Mr. Lịch would have the phone call forwarded to his office phone which was encrypted by SIN. As the discussion began, the King would shoo off any of his staff that weren't cleared, and would have his security detachment clear the office and the rooms around it, to ensure that this call would be private. He'd also double check the phone, making sure that the encrypted telephone signal would not be decrypted by anyone but the intended recipient.

"I am glad to hear you agree on that, for the extremists whom had been in charge had done much to isolate us from the international community. I believe that establishing an FTA and a trade route would be a massive step forward in determining the nature of relations between our two countries. Also, I am not sure if you would be able to facilitate this but we are interested in purchasing a number of San Giorgio-class amphibious transport docks with a compliment of LCM62-class LCMs. Italy is well known for it's beautiful and well engineered ships, and the thought only just crossed my mind. I was thinking of anywhere from 4 to 8 ships depending on price."

At this time as we are changing our ground forces standard we also want to change our standard for naval equipment, to something more in the realm of old NATO.
