The military has collapsed, the police have vanished, and the governmental bureaucracy is gone. An appeal to the general populace for support to try and hold things together long enough has been met with positive responses, however it won't last forever. As a result, it is necessary to act quickly to stabilise the country before it falls into total anarchy. To this end, The Executive Council is moving swiftly to procure weapons for the purpose of arming local militia and establishing a brand new army. Zimbabwe has historical ties to Great Britain in the form of the colony of Southern Rhodesia, which has resulted in the country having experience in the operation of various British-made weapons and vehicles. It would be of great assistance to us if it is within the realms of reality for British support to come in the form of the negotiation of production licenses for a number of different pieces of equipment that can both equip the new defence force planned for the country, and keep military industry in the country afloat by having them be contracted to produce the weapons for the government. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland deeply sympathises with the current situation in Zimbabwe and voice our support, fortunately the Global Assemblys resolution passed which has encouraged many nations to join in supporting your country.

Our Government currently works closely with Nexus and other internal suppliers to provide our military weapons and vehicles so we may be able to help further, however, we will just need further information for what exactly you are looking to procure for your armed forces.

I would also recommend opening an account with Nexus who offer a range of goods which often include discounts on production prices too.

Dear Trevor Hawkins,

I apologise for the delay in getting back to you, I have been reviewing your requests and have discussed these internally.

Unfortunately, due to the situation in Zimbabwe and the large amount of parties involved, the United Kingdom is unable to justify the sale of such equipment that, due to instability, could not be accounted for.

If the situation was to change in light of international deployments from the Global Assembly Peacekeeping Force, negotiation may resume but there is a significant risk to the selling of equipment.

I am sorry for any inconvenience but hope we may resume such discussion at a time of more stability within the country, and of course, offer our support unconditionally through the Global Assembly.

Without arms and vehicles for patrol duties, they will be of little use in securing the country.
