We believe the proposal is a good project for Asia and Pacific cooperation and development. Certainly led by Australia this group of nations can achieve a lot, and backed by other regional powers. While we are happy to cooperate at a strategic level with the Organization for Economic & Security Cooperation, the specifics of the defensive portion are of hesitation. Primarily over the ongoing security discussions with a number of ROK Partners. We will consider the proposal by your government and review all of the arrangements in a professional manner. However, we hope that we could discuss an OSEC+1 where Korea support the economic and development aspect and participates in the political affairs to the extent of an observer, while not apart of the defensive arrangements of the agreement. Of course, this organization encompasses a large number of Asian and Pacific countries, Korea seeks to coordinate and work together with our neighbors in security policy and we hope that as OSEC+1 Korea can contribute to regional peace and cooperation."

"We are in the dark as you are. Although, we have concluded from our ground report, the situation is far worse and more likely on the brink of an imminent outbreak of violence. The diplomatic situation is not reassuring and it looks as though the situation may require a regional if not international response. The ROK Medical Mission has been attacked on two occasions, with zero casualties, however, the attacks were large scale including explosives and small arms. We can only anticipate that the insurgents are adequately armed, but posses weapons that can cause large scale panic and damage to unprotected buildings and civilians. On that, we hoped that we could issue a joint statement. Our office has written a draft statement that can be issued at the end of our Summit." Passing over a binder with a the joint statement through one of the Australian Aides who would put down the binder in front of the Prime Minister.

We, the Prime Ministers of The Republic of Korea, and The Commonwealth of Australia continue to strongly support the constitution of the Republic of India as adopted by the Indian People as the only means to address internal issues within the Republic of India. There is no military solution that will bring peace, security, and stability to any nation. Progress on the foundational process of diplomacy remains the only path forward towards a better future for all people. We express our deep concern therein to the political future of the Asia and Pacific region, stressing the need for maintaining the rule of law, respect for state institutions, and the freedoms for citizens to be respected.

We support the efforts of Indian Government to address and bring about a peaceful solution to the issues in its internal affairs and hope that their efforts will resolve this situation. The ROK and Australia are extremely worried about the ongoing violence and continued instability. While the Indian Government has the support of the Commonwealth of Australia and the Republic of Korea, the ongoing actions taken by certain Indian politicians and the government runs contrary to the spirit of democracy and the will of the people. The only real way to bring about a sustainable peace, stability, and security to the Indian people is through dialogue and negotiations. We call on all armed non-state actors to immediately cease their acts of violence and to end their acts of violence against civilians.

We have taken note of the lack of a regional response to the situation and call for the Asian-Pacific Community of Nations to move forward to address this crisis in India. The humanitarian aftermath of the Mumbai bombings and subsequent conflict requires an adequate collective response. We urge continued engagement of the Indian Government with neighboring countries and the wider Asian continent to ensure transparency of the situation. Both the ROK and Australia stand ready to assist India and coordinate humanitarian, financial, and military assistance as deemed appropriate.

The Prime Minister would nod in agreement with what the statement provided by the Korean Counterpart "I believe this covers all aspects and shows that the Republic of Korea along with the Commonwealth of Australia can stand up and not sit by while things like this happen. We agree with the statement and believe it should be released as soon as possible after our summit. Would you be prepared to enter a phone call jointly between ourselves and India? Maybe this giving them enough pressure to act and allowing us to help quickly and promptly"

"The Australian Press can release the statement at the end of the summit if that is an appropriate arrangement for you. It would of course set a strong tone and support your leadership efforts for the OESC. On the idea of a phone call with the Indian Government, while I believe that would be appropriate, I must consult with the President to understand the perimeters of our ability and willingness to contribute. At the same time, the impeachment of the Indian President makes the situation concerning, and any agreement we strike may not be honored by the next administration. What would you like to pressure them to do, and what would you like our two countries to be able to do?"

I understand that you must consult with the President and I believe it would benefit the stability of our region if two of the biggest contributors help out the Indian Government, it seems that the Indian Government cannot stop these insurgents and need help, if the Republic of Korea is willing, we would want the Republic of Korea to expand on the Medical help that it is giving, while the Australian Defence Force can contribute into training and helping the Indian Government seek out these insurgents and have them pay for their crimes." the Minister paused before continuing "If we're able to confirm an agreement between our three states, we could then seek the agreement to the Global Assembly to make it a binding solution until the crisis is adverted and dealt with. It is concerning that the former President has been impeached, but I believe we need to act now rather than later before this destabilises the whole region."

"That sounds like a good plan. We look forward to the announcement. We are more than happy to provide medical personnel, as well as deploying a small combat unit at most a regiments size to assist the Australian military in their training program. We are happy to coordinate a GA resolution to launch a mission which our two governments could help lead and participate with. Like you said, quick efforts are crucial. However, we believe working with the Indian Government is crucial to avoid appearing like a foreign occupation or invasion force and turn the local population against us. We seek to avoid a quagmire on the continent that drags in regional powers backing communist militias against our efforts to help the Indian Government and their people." The Prime Minister would excuse himself to speak with the Acting Chief Secretary to get his approval for the trilateral talks with the Indian and Australians. Although hesitant, the Prime Minister would persuade the Chief Secretary as he saw it as beneficial to get Australia's support and help the Indian Government. After sometime, the two would agree and the President would be notified of it, however, being in the Antarctic, a response would be delayed. Prime Minister Jo returned and sat down with his team. "I apologize for the abrupt departure. We can have a joint call with the Indian Government to move quickly to address this situation. President Kim thanks you for the initiative and hopes we can coordinate together."
