Footage reveils that members of the special operations brigade were involved in training the "National Resistance"

this morning, The Anarchist Free Territory dropped a bomb of truth upon the powers that be having published a collection of journal entries entitled "Strange Days Indeed" along with footage of special operations brigade members training personnel from the so-called national resistance which in reality was a front organization designed to smear anarchists throughout Èire.

George McGuinness, Prime Minister of Èire has resigned his post in light of the stress of recent events. It is not quite certain as to when elections will be held. Labour and Dissident Unionists have withdraw their support of the McGuinness administration.

This would officially be the final straw for the Federal Government of the German Reich, and in a bold move, the Reich Chancellery secretly demanded the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs temporarily recall their diplomatic missions to Ireland. Furthermore, trade sanctions were secretly demanded to be established against the Irish government.

The Foreign Office in Dublin would alerted of the German government's decision to withdraw their personnel from Irish soil. Patrick Duffy, Èire's foreign minister would comment the following words - "Tis the end of an era of two centuries of friendship dating back to the events of Easter 1916 when Irish patriots rose up against British tyranny using German mausers while fellow Irishmen donning British uniforms for King and Country died up to their knee in blood charging machine guns manned by Germans. Alas, we shall miss our friends."

The tricolour flag of Èire would be placed in halfstaff out of respect for the Reich and in commemoration of a national day of mourning.

Unionist Government Falls from Power

this morning, the Unionist government weakened and losing support relatively fast has fallen from power as interim prime minister Gerald Fitzsimmins handed in his resignation. Meanwhile, the House of Parliament has voted to dissolve itself in order to conduct fresh elections in August.

Nationwide Boycott of German Products Begins

In response to the aggressive actions of the German Reich, All Irishmen and Women are encouraged to cease purchasing products made in Germany, rid their homes of products made in Germany, or to cease patronising stores known for selling products made in Germany. Citizens are encouraged to take part on their own volition without compulsion or fear.

Irish Citizens hold a march to demonstrate their support and sympathies with Brazil

Recent events regarding mounting diplomatic tensions between the governments of The German Reich and Brazil has lead many in Èire to take to the streets in protest against the saber rattling of Germany and Italy. A petition has been circulating around urban areas urging the Irish government to pass a bill that would effectively place a trade embargo on Germany and Italy. Some citizens have gone as far as to hang Brazilian flags from the homes, in their shop windows, and in the windows of their vehicles.

Over 100 million Brazilians wept last night as the news first appeared on their TV screens and in social media that the people of Ireland hung Brazilian flags from their homes, their shops and even posted stickers in their cars.

Though a vast ocean divides us, a common ground based on fairness unites us.

I will do my best to promote this virtue further between our two countries in the months and years to come.

The world does not belong to a few, but all of us.

Interim Parliament purposes bill to impose a trade embargo upon Germany and Italy

This evening, the interim parliament met in Cork to discuss the possibility of imposing a trade embargo upon Germany and Italy in response to the two nations militaristic overtures towards Brazil which in the eyes of many Irishmen poses a threat to not only the balance of power in Europe but also the world as a collective whole. Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, and Our Union have come out in support of a trade embargo whereas Sein Fein, Labour, and The Workers Party have either urged for caution or expressed their opposition to the purposed piece of legislation.

Interim Parliament passes bill that would place a trade embargo on Germany and Italy.

This morning, after an intense debate, the purposed legislative piece concerning the possibility of implementing a trade embargo against both Germany and Italy passed with Fianna Fail, Labour, Our Union, and Sein Fein voting in favour while Fine Gael and The Worker's Party voted against said measures fearing an economic calamity of sorts. The Bill will take effect within 24 hours. The Governments of Germany and Italy will be notified hereafter.

New Beginnings

This evening, the polling booths and offices throughout Èire closed their doors after several days of service to the general public.

The New Administration shall take over from the Interim government which took power after the resignation of George MacGuinness on July 3rd with the state opening of Parliament following thereafter on July 4th.

The New Administration promises to accomplish the following tasks:

1) End martial law and reinstate constitutional order
2) Resolve disputes with The Free Territory
3) Restore Irish Sovereignty over Northern Ireland
4) Join The European Treaty Organisation

With the recent request to discuss the sovereignty of Northern Ireland in a diplomatic manner, Ireland Today's recent post surrounding the new Administration was reviewed in private by British Security Services have highlighted the 'promise to restore Irish Sovereignty over Northern Ireland', making careful notes to review movements from the Irish Government given their request was declined rather quickly; even though no clear intention of military involvement, it was considered something of value to watch over. Of course, this was in private.

Marching Season for Èire's Protestant community begins as Orange Lodges through the country celebrate 323rd anniversary of the Williamite victory at the Boyne

This morning, Protestants throughout Èire especially near the border regions with Northern Ireland took to the streets wearing sashes of Orange, Bowler hats, and black suits with several carrying union jacks and banners containing images of William of Orange along with other important figures central to the history of our nation's Protestant minority.

The Prime Minister, a Roman Catholic, sent the Dublin Orange Lodge his profound best wishes later releasing the follfollowing statement:

"On this day the 323rd anniversary of the Boyne let us reflect upon our past with regards to centuries of sectarian abuse from both sides of the aisle and come together as a nation worth of respect the world over."

Members of Sein Fein have held small counter demonstrations and have more or less condemned the Orange Order's continued existence in an independent Ireland.

State Opening of Parliament conducted without Head of State

Much to the dismay of many Irish citizens, Her Majesty the Queen of Éire, was a no show as the doors of parliament were opened this morning at Leinster House in Dublin after a fresh election was held a few weeks ago.

At procession, two lines were formed by the various members of new administration signifying those within the government (Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, Labour, and Our Union) and the opposition (The Worker's Party, National Alliance, and Independents) opppsed to said government.

Upon entering the chamber, the men and women stood up to sing the national hymn and God Save The Queen but not before a brief prayer. After all the pomp and circumstance was said and done silence reigned supreme as the newly elected prime minister delievered an address in the place of the Queen.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Members of Parliament, Citizens of Èire, before you lies the prospect of an uncertain future upon which the fate of all Irishmen rests. Past administrations have been involved in the miscarriage of Irish democracy and constitutional authority, they have made enemies out of fellow countrymen, and have tried to use our sovereignty as a means to abuse the trust of the people with whom their interests they are intrusted. From this day forth, Èire expects nothing but the best foot forward...no nonesense or empty talk...it expects action pure and unadulterated.

The agenda of this administration has been narrowed down to five objectives:

1. The reinstatement of diplomatic relations with Germany and Italy

2. The peaceful restoration of Irish Sovereignty over Northern Ireland on terms acceptable to all in Northern Ireland

3. The elimination and payment of debt accumulated under the last two administrations with regards to military spending

4. The end of martial law and the restoration of constitutional order

5. The assertion of Irish Sovereignty and Neutrality

This shall be a most hard task but with time we shall prevail..."

After such stirring words were uttered a roaring applause could be heard.

The Society for a Worker's Republic is formed in Cork

In light of the successes of the social revolution in France, a group of artisans and factory workers gathered themselves upon a hill overlooking the city of Cork to establish a political organization advocating for the creation of a worker's republic that would lead Èire onto a uniquely Irish road to socialism.

Rumors have it that a manifesto is on the horizon but only time will tell. This would be the fourth organization to epouse a vision of socialism in the lifetime of many Irishmen and women after Labour, Sein Fein, The Worker's Party (Communist Party of Èire, Marxist-Leninist).

Parliament Repeals Martial Law

this morning, after a tense series of drawn out debates between supporters of constitutional restoration and proponents of martial law via decree, TDs from Fine Gael, Fianna Fail, Labour, and The Worker's Party joined forces to vote in favour of repealing martial law and restoring constitutional order at once while TDs from Our Union and The National Party voted against prefering the status quo over liberty.

The Defense Force's shall hand over the distribution of justice back to the high court and the policing of the general public back to The Garda Síochána and Metropolitan Police Departments no later than this coming Monday.

Political prisoners shall be released and limited amnesty granted to Communists and Anarchists. Further development's will be posted soon.

Republic Proclaimed by Parliament

At midnight, it was announced by the House of Parliament, that the monarchy of Èire would be stripped of its power's and would hereafter be abolished due to its inability to fulfill its role as a pillar of Irish statehood.

The position of President would established as Èire's effective head of state in the place of the Queen. The Office of President as an officer of the government shall take on the Queen's previous role as s ceremonial national figurehead.

From.this day forth, the armed forces and those in Parliament and the like are absolved of their oath of loyalty to the crown. A oath of loyalty to The Republic shall become a mandatory component of political affairs those refuse to take such oath will be authorised to tender their resignations no later then October 1st.

It must be said that this action, is by no means meant to be construed as one with male intent on the part of the Government of Èire or the Irish people towards our counterparts in the United Kingdom

The Royal Government applauds the latest action of the Irish State, and congratulate its government on transitioning into what they all hope is a stable government.

King Wei also releases a brief statement, offering his congratulations as well as a pledge to continue supporting Ireland in its endeavor of creating its own free state.

It would end with the Singaporean government announcing its Gift to the Irish Republic, a Formidable-class Frigate free-of-charge from Lion Defense Industries.

It's been christened the "Independence" by the Royal Navy, and is promised to arrive within the following couple of weeks.

The Government of Èire would extend its gratitude to the King of Singapore and his Royal Navy for having given Èire the means by which to defend herself at home and abroad. The Prime Minister of Èire would assure Singapore's head of state that the Irish nation was in good hands.
