[ISR] Emergency Call to Egypt

Naio90

Federal Republic of Ethiopia

"Mr. Daisuke, productions are underway in Egypt and Israel. Thank you for this very good idea to accelerate the production process."

The egyptian minister would politely thank and salute the japanese CEO, before disconnecting him form the private call.

Now only Israel and Egypt would remain on the line.

"Minister, with that aside, what did you want to talk about?"

The Minister would make sure that no one but his counter-part would be able to hear him.

"Minister, I was going to call you regarding this Coalition of western states. Israel has joined the call and offered help in the hopes of collecting information and being able to assure that the stability and independence of the Middle East is upheld. With that said, I am willing to share with you the information that we have collected so far." The Minister would wait until the other was prepared to receive the information and take notes himself before starting. "Kuwait has asked the Coalition for support against Iraq, of course they accepted their plea. NORSCOM, the military branch of the alliance between Sweden, Norway, and Denmark is planning to launch it's own operation in Iraq to evacuate the Swedish Embassy which has been merged with the operations of the United States and the United Kingdom. Norway has offered the US, UK, and Spain its support logistically. Denmark has troops on the ground in Spain, supporting them since the attack took place. France has offered two Frigates if required. Belgium has stood aside and announced it's neutrality. Spain is providing Special Forces and is able to provide ships in support. The Netherlands are willing to help although would like a detailed plan."

He would pause and give the Minister some time. "Syria has offered their nation to stage the Coalition forces, including ports and airbases. It would also seem that the Coalition forces are gathering in Cyprus, although how the small pieces of territory that the United Kingdom owns there will be able to support all those troops and ships is beyond me. The United Kingdom will also be deploying air force units there." Another pause. "The Spanish have offered 3,000 troops and various air assets. The Americans with 14,000 troops. The 'Prussians' with 8,000 Prussian Troops, 60 Battle Tanks, 100 Artillery along side their air complement which includes attack and transport helicopters, alongside two frigates, two destroyers, and two submarines. Japan has offered 30,000 troops to aid Kuwait. What I believe to be of concern as well is that Saudi Arabia is offering to host Coalition forces in their nation, two air bases in fact, but who knows if the Coalition will force more."

One last pause would be given before he spoke again. "The Americans, the Spanish and the Japanese have also sent the entire deployment list of their forces to all of those within the call, which includes Israel. I will fax them to you now." Secretly, and using encrypted methods, the Minister would fax the deployment lists to his counterpart.

"This looks concerning... Amassing such a big force is going to end up with a large scale invasion and war. We are bound to a new Gulf War and most possibly the beginning of a new period of widespread instability in the Middle East. Egypt with continue to refuse to take any part in this US-european wargame and will focus in securing our own areas of interest to guarantee national security. I urge Israel does the same, taking obviously all precautions to safeguard your sovereignty. Egypt will immediatly intercept any foreign ship that enters our waters or airspace immedaitly."
