"Perhaps it's the fact that Germany was losing itself after the Reunification. We may not have forgotten the Holocaust, but we most certainly forgot the significance of it when we allowed men like Hertzberg to take power, or when we allowed Merkel to run rampant with our goals and dreams," the...
"That is fair," Georg remarked, "At least there are some countries and their leaders who are willing to acknowledge the past happened, good or bad. I wish I could say the same for parts of Germany."
As soon as the Sultan's gaze fell on Emma, the 10 year old girl only hid behind her mother, far more shy and reclusive than her eldest brother was.
"This is Emma. She...isn't keen on meeting new people, and hasn't really done too well with the shuffling from Germany over here," the Queen...
As soon as he said that, the Kaiser gave a nod of understanding and stepped back to allow his second son to step forwards as well.
"Eh ... Ich wünschte, es würde hier nicht eiskalt werden, aber ich mache es," he replied, giving a warm smile as the stress began to melt away.
"Excuse me?" the...
The Kaiser nodded and smiled as he extended his hand in warm welcome to Cemre.
"It is a pleasure to meet you again, your Highness. I believe we had already been introduced at the banquet...though, not so formally given my task of the evening." Friedrich then turned back to his Turkish...
The Kaiser, upon stepping out and into the palace, would already be in awe at the structure. Its architecture, both outside and inside, were to die for, and the Kaiser almost felt right at home within the bounds of the palace. It reminded him that, as soon as he could, he would have to start...
"Indeed. I can certainly see that your military is able to still perform their duties despite the collapse of the Republic," the Kaiser remarked in return, following the doctor and the protection detail to wherever their destination was. His family followed closely behind as Turkish citizens...
During the trip, the Kaiser had primarily slept...it had been a grueling, exhausting day and night. When he woke up, however, his stress was only increased. After taking a look to his messages on his phone, he found that Andrea Nahles had called him 4 times within minutes of each other. When he...
The German delegation would arrive rather late in comparison to several other parties. Traffic was a nightmare. The permanent representative to the Global Assembly, Harald Braun, would take his seat, adjusting the Reichsflagge pin on his lapel, and taking glances and internal notes at the other...
The German representative to the General Assembly would take his seat, with the rest of his delegation following suite. Upon taking out his seat, he pulled out his phone and began looking through newsfeeds regarding the poor weather, and how likely it was he was going to get caught up in traffic...
As soon as the doctor left, the Kaiser took a sigh of relief and took a seat on the carriage. With the trainride lasting around 12 hours, he had plenty of time to get some sleep and deal with government matters when he awoke. It all seemed so...surreal, as the train left the station to begin its...
"Indeed...in that case, I think my family and I will require some privacy for the next few hours before anyone comes in. I need to talk with them all about what's going on, and where we're going...and hopefully get settled in."
This is fine...I'm fine with this...but the big problem is that the Cold War still happened. Couldn't it have been surmised that, instead of a Limited Test Ban Treaty, it was an Arms Ban Treaty in 1963? There's also still the advent of the Cuban Missile Crisis, which can be acknowledged here as...
Many German nationals across Twitter would immediately discount the group as domestic terrorists, and call for the Irish government to arrest them, or for another country to intervene. Many retweets would go around twitter, garnering the attention of the Federal Government currently still in...
"Quite," the Kaiser would state, shaking the doctor's hand, "Thank you for what you've done for us...I...honestly don't know what I would've done if I'd remained in Berlin."
@Retroliser
As his family moved to grab what luggage they had, the Kaiser went over to greet the ambassador to Germany.
"Doctor," he nodded to Mason as he walked up to him. "I would have thought you would have gone to Istanbul."
So...as I've noticed, Germany has lost around $7 billion dollars, which has put it into a 3 billion dollar debt. What I'm wondering is how and why this happened. I assume it has something to do with the winter, but $7 billion dollars?
