The Vice Minister would receive the call in his office. Along with him was a translator and two specialists on Latin America and Brazil. After the encrypted line was confirmed, the Vice Minister picked up the phone. "Hello Director Gastão da Souza, thank you for taking the time to call us. How are you?"

"Things are good" He looked out the window "It's currently autumn so the temperature is perfect, Not too cold, but not too warm either." He turned his gaze back down to his papers. "My apologies for repeating myself, but I'd like to also congratulate your government once more for the remarkable efforts of everlasting peace in the region, I do hope that the Global community recognizes your truly historical accomplishments.

As I've said, Brazil sees Korea as a potential International partner and as a rising influence in Asia. With that being said, I'd like to talk about matters such as Trade, potential cooperation and purchases, and of course, diplomacy, between our two countries.

"Marvelous, I'd like to start us off with Trade."

Eduardo would pause for a moment to turn the page of his notebook, before resuming.

"
We are interested in Importing South Korea's Electronic Goods and Semiconductors, in return, Brazil could offer agricultural items such as Meat, Sugar, and what we are known for the most, Coffee. Additionally, we can offer Iron Ores, Vehicles and Machinery, do any of these items interest South Korea, Vice Minister? A Route could be established between the Port of Santos and the Port of Busan."

"Yes, we can start with trade" The Minister said as he and the staff around him listened, writing down some notes. As the Director spoke, the Trade staffers circling things on a notepad for the Minister to see. "This is a good starting proposal Director. In the first part, we think the food and nourishment aspects would require approval by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and subject to those standards, trading on these three goods would be approved. With regards to the three other options, at this stage we do not see them as necessarily mutually beneficial, however, we are more than happy to discuss them in depth if you would prefer." He looked back at the Notepad. "The Port agreement is fine on our side."

"That works, Although I'd like to raise a point about the Iron Ores, as you may know, Mr Minister, Brazil is one of the largest Iron Ore producers and exporters in the World, the second one in fact, I believe it would be beneficial for Korea to have such a large exporter of Iron Ores in the long run, but of course, I respect your decision.

additionally, Brazil is interested in the purchase of commercial vessels from Korea, would such purchases be possible?

"We would be happy to re-explore the importing of iron ore. As we hope to have strong and stable relations with Brazil, we would be happy to discuss how to best arrange for the trade deal to cover iron ore. I was wondering the quality and type of iron ores Brazil exports and whether we can secure contracts for the highest quality mines in Brazil. On the second item, we would happy to pass this request to Hyundai Heavy Industries, our leading civilian shipbuilding and energy platform provider. Such a purchase I believe should be possible without any issues."

"Marvelous, Much of Brazil's Mineral reserves are located in the provinces of Minas Gerais, around 60% in fact, although the types of Iron in Brazil vary, the most commonly found one is Hematite, but we also have some reserves of Magnetite, do those interest you?

Thank you, We are ready to pay for the purchase of the Naval Vessels.

Additionally, By the initiative of His Imperial Majesty, Brazil wishes to assist Korea in solving some of the issues that their Government inherited after the unification, more specifically the Famine that plague the people of the region, So I ask, what can Brazil do to assist and ease the difficulties of the Korean people?

"We would be interested in securing a supply of Magnetite. While we are more interested in developing a domestic iron industry, I believe that importing iron ore would prove beneficial to your economy and fuel our industrialization efforts. Being less abundant, a contract for Magnetite would be much more lasting in terms of the trade relations. Which vessels would you like to purchase?" The Vice Minister listened and nodded his head as the Northern Korea situation was discussed. "Please extend His Excellency President Kim's appreciation for His Imperial Majesties support and assistance. At this time, the main priority is responding than fixing the conditions of the famine. The assistance that can be provided would come into those two categories. We currently have a large donation effort ongoing and the United Kingdoms has dispatched biweekly supplies of food and humanitarian aid. If Brazil could provide foodstock and other nourishment as part of this effort it would be helpful. On the second side of fixing and preventing the famine we would require assistance through seed donations so we can begin replanting and restoring the arable land that was destroyed. Alongside improved irrigation and dam building to mitigate the impact of floods."

"Very well, on the topic of the vessels, we'd like to put forward a request for 2 Ti-Class Supertankers, 4 Capt. Steven Bennet Bulk/Container carriers, 4 Flaminia Cargo Carriers, 4 Brillante Virtuoso Oil Tankers, 4 Hankuk Chemical Carriers and 4 Morning Menad Vehicle Carriers, such a purchase would cost an approximate cost of 2 billion if I'm not mistaken?

When it comes to the aid, We would be interested in providing foodstock to Korea, joining the United Kingdom's efforts, although we would be interested in delivering foodstock in a weekly schedule, we are willing to chose the United Kingdom's Biweekly schedule, whatever is best for Korea of course.

We can offer assistance with the seed donations, as well as offer funds to assist in the irrigation and dam projects.

"Director, I believe you should receive an email with the breakdown soon. Hyundai Heavy Industries has already organized the order. You can find a number of other products on their website and can contact Rhee Jungmin for more information. Hopefully they can clarify the final cost and I believe your estimates are accurate, I haven't personally looked at the numbers so I couldn't tell you the exact number.

Thank you for your offer, we are most happy to receive your assistance. We are perfectly fine for a weekly schedule, all the shipments can be destined for the Port of Nampo in the North and we can take care of it from there. As for seed donations, we'd like to review the seeds and have then brought to Seoul for testing before being introduced into the agricultural sector. The sector is very traditional in the North, and their agriculture may not be immune to a transcontinental variant or any mutations that occur during the planting process.

We would like to hear your proposals on how we can cooperate on irrigation and dam projects. Our teams are currently in discussion with Argentina's ADCA, I am certain we can come to an agreement with your government as well."

"Very well, we shall send the funds for the transaction. On the topic of the schedules, our shipments shall depart the port of Santos en route to the Port of Nampo in a weekly rotation, as for the seeds, we could deliver them in a weekly manner to the Port of Incheon, since it is the closest to Seoul, if I'm not mistaken?

We would like to offer a sum of 4 billion dollars to fund these projects, additionally, we would like to propose improvements to the Hwanggang Dam, As well as propose the construction of an additional dam to the north for irrigation and hydro electrical purposes.

"Yes, you are correct. Additionally, perhaps we could discuss the trade agreement, we'd like to have a proposal sent to your minister as soon as possible. If I am correct, we are discussing the sale of Electronics and Semiconductors in exchange for Meat, Sugar, Coffee, and Magnetite Iron Ore. Your countries offers of aid and assistance are most appreciated. I am sure President Kim is most appreciative for this assistance.

On the items on the shipping sale, I am sure it'll be complete without a hitch. I hope you'll do future business with Hyundai for other transport and trade related purposes. I would be happy to also review the proposals on the Dam and other irrigation and hydro-electrical projects. I would also like to ask if your government has expertise in nuclear reactor building."

"Very will, I will have Chief Galego look over the proposal documents as soon as possible and sign it.

One of our greatest engineering and infrastructural achievements has always been the Itaipu Dam, It is one of, if not the largest, producer of electricity power in the entire world, We'd like to send a delegation of engineers and other professionals to Korea to talk further on these projects, as well as explore the possibilities of Modernization of some of North Korea's other Dams to better offer Irrigation to the Region.

Additionally, we'd like to propose, along with the modernization of the Hwanggang Dam, the Modernization of the Nampho Dam, in the mouth of the Taedong River.

On the topic of Nuclear reactor building expertise, Yes, we have experience with constructing Nuclear Reactors, Brazil has it's very own Nuclear Power Plant in Angra dos Reis, the "Central Nuclear Almirante Álvaro Alberto".

"That is great to hear. We'd be happy to take the proposal and review them as well as entertain your delegation. Though we hope that you will work with local engineering experts during the project, but, we can discuss this in-depth during the contract proposal. Once your reviews are complete, we are happy to support modernization of existing dams, and we would have to conduct independent environmental impacts of new dams or extensions of existing ones.

We'd like to build 2 new Nuclear Reactors in the North to provide clean and renewable energy to the country and wean off the high oil consumption we experience. I hope that We could see some proposals on a Nuclear Power Plant that has high capacity."
