Dear Mr. Maël,

Thank you for your prompt and informative reply regarding the Mirage 2000-5 Mark 2. We appreciate France’s engagement with our modernization effort and your continued support.

As part of our market review, Brazil would be grateful to receive a pricing indication and outline terms for the Dassault Rafale B F1 as an initial standard, together with a costed and scheduled upgrade path to the F3 standard once available.

To help us compare options at this stage, we kindly ask for a concise package covering:

  • Price for the upgrade to F3 when available.
  • Indicative unit and package pricing (USD) for an initial fleet, with the possibility of options.
  • Industrial cooperation opportunities in Brazil, including pathways to local MRO or DPL.
  • Any export-licensing considerations you would like to highlight.

We will treat your reply as Confidential/Encrypted. Once we consolidate inputs from all respondents, we will revert with any further detail required ahead of a formal step.

Thank you again for your time and consideration. We look forward to your response and to deepening our cooperation.

Respectfully,

Carminha Dos Santos
