Dear Your Excellency, On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation, I am pleased to respond to the extension of friendship by His Highness Sha'an'Sha Gustàsp III, the great king, king of kings, king of the lands of Èran with many tribes to the Russian Federation. In following his words, it is great honor and pleasure that my Government looks towards deepen our cooperation and communication, especially in these troubled times in the near region. Indeed His Higness recognized that both our nations have interests int he region that can be achieved through mutual cooperation. In this regards, my Government would like to schedule a visit to Tehran to speak with you to discuss the situation in Syria, cooperation to combat extremism in the region, and Russo-Eranian security coopation. My Government is ready to extend lisence agreements, support your armed forces, and be a partner to Éran, as we have historically been. Regarding Syria, my Government would like to request permission to use Iranian Air Space to transport troops, conduct air operations, and to support the legitimate Syrian Government. We would appreciate your views on the situation in Syria, Iran's strategic interests, and how Russia can support them. I look forward to visiting Tehran soon.
