From the office of Abdalla Bazzi, Director of Finances and Procurement, Sultanate of Egypt and the Sudan:

Order for the procurement of radar systems
Public tender
Public, not secured

To those foreign entities in possession of the capabilities to manufacture radar systems,

Egypt is seeking new radar systems to supplement her existing defense network and ensure regional security. Egypt is searching for:

  1. A long-range Early Warning Radar, allowing regional surveillance of potential threats before they reach Egypt's borders;
  2. A medium-range Aerial Surveillance Radar, allowing national surveillance of threats in Egyptian airspace;
  3. A long-range Coastal Surveillance Radar, allowing surveillance of activities within the Mediterranean and Red Seas;
  4. A short-range Coastal Surveillance Radar, allowing surveillance of activities along the Egyptian coastline;
  5. A Counter-Battery Radar System and other Battlefield Radars, to multiply the capabilities of Egyptian artillery and battlefield awareness.

It is preferred that these radar systems be interoperable and capable of sharing data to form an integrated security network. All systems should be land-based.

All offers should be addressed, to:
Office of the Director of Finances and Procurement
Sultanate of Egypt and the Sudan

Director Bazzi,

Poland is excited to offer several products to the Egyptian government for its use.
1. Early Warning Radar System(Long Range): We would like to offer the Voronezh Radar system to fit this request. With a range of 6,000km and the capability to track up to 500 objects simultaneously, we feel it would be a good fit for your nation's needs. We are willing to sell them at $55,000,000 per system.

5. Counter-Battery Radar System: We would like to offer the RZRA Liwiec CBRS. With the ability to track artillery shells up to 50km, a CEP of 50m, a setup time of 20 minutes, and the ability to track dozens of targets simultaneously we feel it would be a great addition to the Egyptian Armed Forces.

Director Bazzi,

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this correspondence to you in regards to your recent procurement of the Voronezh Radar system. I am regretfully forced to inform you that a recent decision by the new cabinet of the Russian Federation has temporarily suspended our ability to produce equipment of Russian origin. Because of this, we will be refunding the money paid for the Voronezh Radar systems immediately and our deepest apologies for the effect this may have on the Egyptian defense modernization plans. Attached to this correspondence is a confirmation of the transfer of equity back to your government for the cancelled purchase. We will be working with the Russian Government to have the licensing restored as soon as possible.
Kind Regards,

Alfons Dowak

Dear Director Bazzi,

The Turkish Air Forces' Air Defense & Early Warning System is currently decommissioning two Voronezh Radar systems. These long-range early warning radars offer a range of up to 6,000 km and the capability to track up to 500 objects simultaneously, making them highly effective for strategic airspace monitoring and missile defense.

We would like to offer these systems for consideration under the current Egyptian Armed Forces radar tender. Each system is available at a price of $45,000,000, and we believe they would be an excellent fit for Egypt's long-range surveillance and early warning requirements.

Ambassador,

Your offer very much aligns with our needs for long-range early warning radar equipment. Thank you for your bid. It would be poorly advised for us to delay this deal, so I will be immediately wiring $90,000,000 to your government for the transfer of these goods. I hope our governments can continue to discuss and further regional security.

Best,
