Government of the Indian Socialist Republic
OFFICIAL INFORMATION
The Government of the Indian Socialist Republic was formed in late 2006, following the gross failures of the Union Government, President and his council of ministers. The people of India demanded a government for the people and the new socialist republic was formed in its place. The Indian Socialist Republic no longer has a president who dictates the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the new socialist state has an elected Prime Minister and cabinet staff, chosen by the people based on a political manifesto. The country remains divided into 36 states and territories, each of these now have their own elected councillor to represent their area in sessions of parliament.
The new layout of government means there are currently no major political parties with influence over multiple municipalities. Each party is independently run with a party leader and their staff. The 2 prominent parties with the most votes following the election, now referred to as “The Ministerial Party” and “The Opposition Party” make up the main assembly in parliament, each having their own leader and staff.
The current Ministerial Party is run by Dhananjay Menon, the Prime Minister of the Indian Socialist Republic. His manifesto was well received by the public and consisted primarily of his personal socialist ideologies. The primary focus of the manifesto was to use tax payer money to reinvest into the infrastructure of the country. Such investments include to provide better drainage and sewage systems, improve health care and create a safer road network. Another key item on the manifesto was to bolster the nation’s exports, support diamond exports from Surat, increase both pharmaceutical and telecoms exports nationwide and reignite the export of locally grown teas and other herbal goods.
