RE: A New Papal Vehicle, and a complimentary fleet of cars for the use of the Vatican Motor Pool
Mr. CEO,
It is with great pleasure and anticipation, that I am writing you today on behalf of the Holy See, as His Holiness has expressed the need for a new Papal Transportation Vehicle, and that the piecemeal composition of the Vatican Motor Pool needs to be addressed. As such we would be interested in your putting in a bid for 4 custom made Citroën Pope Mobiles, as well as 750 Citroën made Sedans that are for the exclusive use (for a minimum of 2 years) of the Vatican Motor Pool. After this period of exclusivity, you would be more then welcome to disseminate the Sedans to the consumption of the public, whom we are certain will have an interest in them after they are seen constantly on media and the streets of Rome being driven by various members of the Curia and the Pope.
We are interested in Luxury, Security, and of course Style. As you are well aware the Holy See is not one for Modernism, and as such we would be prefer a more classic vehicle design, being reminiscent of the pre-2000’s and indeed more in line with the aesthetics of cars that today would be considered Classic or Vintage. Such as the Citroën 8CV, Citroën Traction Avant Légère, or Citroën DS Sedan & Cabriolet; though with all modern technology and equipment. If you would be interested, please submit your bid or contact me for further questions. We would also like to inform you that we have sent a similar missive to Renault for consideration.
