CivNet – The Civic Network

Purpose:

A “youth-led, global digital commons” launched in 2006 (with 2016-level tech) by Libertas Collegium to connect young activists, students, and thinkers in the spirit of democracy, peaceful protest, and civic literacy.

Platform Structure:

1. Core Features:

  • Public Profiles:
Basic user bios, academic affiliations, civic interests, activism tags, and language settings.

  • Agora Boards (Forums):
Topic-based discussions around “Free Speech,” “Education Reform,” “Digital Rights,” and “Democracy Futures.”

  • Live Rally Feed:
Mobile-compatible tool allowing on-site users to stream or upload protest footage, with geotagging and emotion-reaction overlays.

  • Action Hub:
Events calendar for civil society actions across Poland and partner countries. Optional RSVP and invite tools built in.

  • Direct Messaging:
End-to-end encrypted chat system (on the surface)

  • CredCard System:
Users can earn “cred” by participating in events, completing courses, or submitting blog posts. High-cred users get priority for Libertas grants and international travel fellowships.

Branding:

  • Color Scheme: Deep blue, silver, and soft amber (mirroring both academic dignity and monarchy).

  • Motto: “Linking Liberty.”

  • Mascot/Icon: A stylized torch intertwined with a crowned eagle feather, evoking both learning and Polish symbolism.

OSP Integration (Secret/Hidden Capabilities):

a. "Mirror Protocol"

  • CivNet activity is cloned via encrypted tunnels to OSP’s Division V servers.

  • AI-assisted tools flag sentiment shifts, radicalization, or anti-monarchist discourse.

b. Profile Weighting System:

  • All users are assigned an internal Trust Vector Score (0–100).

  • Scores are based on:
    • Keyword density in posts

    • Attendance at Libertas-linked events

    • Friend connections (proximity mapping)

    • External digital footprint via connected accounts (email opt-ins, university email verification)

c. Ghost Forums:

  • Select users (high-score or flagged) are gradually invited into “private salons,” hidden forums where more ideological material is introduced subtly—e.g. monarchist theory, Polish constitutional history, soft anti-authoritarianism.

Target Demographics:

  • Youth ages 18–26 in the following regions:
    • Eastern Europe: Ukraine, Belarus (covert), Moldova, Georgia, Russia
    • The Balkans: Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Turkey
    • Western Europe: France, Germany, Netherlands (academic elites)
    • North Africa (pilot): Tunisia, Algeria (via French-speaking branches)
    • Asia: Thailand

Platform Stack:

  • Front-End: AngularJS-styled SPA

  • Back-End: Encrypted PostgreSQL + Go-based API (mimicking a tech-literate startup)

  • Hosting: Ostensibly in Zurich, actually mirrored in Kraków and monitored 24/7

  • Mobile App: iOS/Android hybrid using Flutter-style wrapper with VPN routing (for "privacy")

Sample CivNet User Categories:
