The Grand National Party condemned the leftist purge being conducted following the arrest of 30+ opposition members. The Blue House has not commented on the situation over the past month following a number of arrests being made. It is unknown if President Kim will pardon former President Yong in the interest of the national image. The arrest sparked a flurry of protests who see the President as being a dictator.
