TRT News Border Crisis between Syria still continuing but slowed down after heightened Border Security and the deployment of the 5th Armored Motorized Infantry Battalion to the border. The Turkish Government is allowing select Turkish citizens to make their way across the border to see families and other absolutely vital contact but all other forms of movement are denied. Still no word from Syrian Government even after a month of unrest and the crisis but it is expected that the zero trade is severely damaging the Syrian Economy but has put the Turkish Economy as well under some stress.

Turkish Ministry of Defense Today the first army of the Turkish Republic became completely operational and paraded throughout the streets of Ankara showing the Military Might of Turkey. The Parade of nearly 18,000 military personnel and 15,000 Reserve infantry was a stunning sight and the likes of which few have seen in Turkey before. This is a statement that the Republic of Turkey will not fail to defend itself or allies with force if necessary. A few highlights below. 5 F-5 phantom Aircraft also took off from Ankara International Airport and flew over the capital before landing again.
