PROJECT INFORMATION | The Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA, National Institute for Aerospace Technology) will be the primary Space Agency and Research agency of the Government of Spain responsible for the state aerospace, aeronautics, hydrodynamics, space programs and defense and security technologies research and development. It will be tasked to provide the Spanish Republic with a foothold in Space, to protect its national security and advance its interests. It has its headquarters in the outskirts of Torrejón de Ardoz, near Madrid, which will have more than enough space to conduct launches and research. It will boast a high degree of cybersecurity defenses, having a internal connection (Intranet) with no outside connections, various security protocols and systems to protect its integrity against possible civilian or foreign incursions, 24/7 Security Cameras with audio all around the compound. In its initials stages it will have a Small Landing/Launching Platform and Mission Control Center, vehicle stoage, supplies and equipment storage, research, development and construction facilities, administration offices, canteen and eating areas, parking spaces, security offices, personnel dorms and living quarters for future manned missions alongside training compounds for all kinds of expertise needed for future missions. With its high cost, it will boast the best available constructions materials, systems and technology and in future it will have available space for medium and large launch platforms and other needed constructions |
