Greetings! As unlike and odd as this might seem I would like to submit my country's application to join the European Treaty Organization on the grounds that Rhodesia is culturally European having been in contact with Europeans since the arrival of the Portuguese in Mozambique around the 15th century and the arrival of British settlers from Cape Colony along with Afrikaners in the 19th and early 20th century. It is my hope that Rhodesia will be considered as being of Europe while not being on the continent of Europe.
