On behalf of the Imperial Government of Myanmar, I extend my gratitude for your warm and thoughtful message. We share the commitment to deepening the relations between our two nations.

In light of your expressed readiness to explore new avenues of partnership, the Government of Myanmar wishes to initiate formal consultations regarding the procurement of several defence and dual-use platforms in support of our modernization agenda and national development efforts.

Accordingly, we respectfully request official quotations and availability for the following systems and equipment:

• Mil Mi-28A Attack Helicopters – Two hundred and eighty (280) units
• Kamov Ka-137 UAVs – One hundred and two (102) units
• USA-2M Pile Driving Vehicles – Ninety (90) units
• KrAZ-260 EOV-4422 Excavators – One hundred and eighty (180) units

We remain open to further discussions through appropriate diplomatic and technical channels, and I personally look forward to further high-level engagements between our governments in the near future.

On behalf of our Government, I thank you for your kind message and for reaffirming the shared commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation between our nations.

We appreciate the Government of Myanmar's interest in pursuing formal consultations concerning the procurement of defence and dual-use systems as part of your modernization and national development agenda. The scope and scale of your request have been duly noted.

In response, we have began internal coordination with the relevant authorities and industrial partners to prepare official quotations and assess availability for the following platforms and we can offer the following quotations to your government.

280 Mil Mi-28A Attack Helicopter: $5,327,720,000​

102 Kamov Ka-137: $81,256,260​

180 KrAZ-260: $8,447,931​

We currently cannot offer a price for the USA-2M Pile Driving Vehicle but the above total comes to $5,417,424,191. We look forward to continuing this dialogue through established diplomatic and technical channels, and will ensure that our teams are prepared to engage in detailed consultations at the earliest opportunity.
