The morning dawn breaks over the horizon as members of the serbian Congress pile into the congress room to prepare the day. the day Prior the President just presented a new bill to the congress that shocked many members and Gave many others cheers of Joy. The Rainbow Act was a proposal allowing for Same Sex marriage and Trans Rights to be allowed and Guaranteed in the Constitution. Full List on the Rainbow Act or R.A. As it will be referred to now are below
Rainbow Act Draft
1. Allowing Gay Marriage in the country and no gay partners can be arrested for having or attending a gay wedding
2. Any Gay Partners will be protected by the constitution and may not be discriminated against
3. Any Subset of the term gay (Trans, Bi, Aroace, etc) Will also be protected by the constitution
4. Transitioning is allowed at any age and Transitioning Surgery will only be allowed at the age of 21
SPO and SSZ Both contest this change and an outcry is heard across the entire cries of distress people saying "It goes against GOD!" as the people calm down and the council is calmed yet again the leader of the congress speaks over the crowd. "everyone, EVERYONE... Calm down now, I hear that you are mad yet we must talk about this issue! The gay population has been attacked and discriminated against for years and as they are apart of our country they must be protected and we can become the forefront of freedoms in europe to build our relations with the western europeans to grow serbia's freedom index" some on from ssz speaks up "Are you sure its just not to get another group of people voting for you?" SPO Talk Amongst each other quietly. The DCOFFS Representative says "Of course NOT, the party of DCOFFS stands for freedom and democracy we do not tolerate this idea that we are just using the people for... for free votes!" an SPO representative talks above both parties "After a couple of minutes of talking us in the SPO party have come to a decision let us begin the voting!"
A man is in his cubical at his boring office job, hes in his mid thirties with no wife no kids and in a job he hates he turns on the news his head phones that should be used for making calls but he just doesn't care as he sits there quietly typing on a document that he could care less about he hears something on the radio that shocked him. he jumps out of his chair and rushes to his bosses office he talks to his boss and then he runs out of the building as he sees hundreds of people leaving their homes to the center of town to cheer and shout in joy. as a couple of days ago a bill was passed in congress in record time the Rainbow act was passed in congress allowing for same sex marriage. Serbia is officially the first nation in europe and the first nation on earth to legalize Same sex marriage. People shout in joy and October is officially made Pride month for serbia.
