Granxa Industrial Polygon
People are starting to going to work in the industrial park, a normal day of work, many already arrived at their work places and have started their normal daily working life. In a near by factory Antonio continues looking into a small paper sheet detailing the inventory of the warehouse, he notices something are missing and some other that need replacement, as he walks around alone in the warehouse, he flicks a light switch in a room filled with various things, some big, some small, some screws and some nails, various textiles and carpets. He notices that the switch lets go small sparks. He ignores it and shrugs it off, everything lets of spark now and then, he continues looking around all the objects for a while, writing it on his trust paper, and leaves the room. As he goes to flick the switch off and close the door a small whiff of burnt textiles waves through his nose. He gets curious, and starts looking again around the room, following the burnt smell. But finds nothing out of the ordinary. He decides to just go away and close the door, its 10:30 already and he is now craving a snack, he goes over to the vending machines and buys a Kit-Kat to settle his desire. As he is going back to another storage room opposite to the one he was in, he gets smacked by a wave of burnt smell...and heat.
He runs over to the storage room where he was, and grabs the handle frantically. Today it was not Antonio's lucky day, as he opens the windowless door with his full might, gigantic waves of fire surround him, almost like the fire was gasping for air as the door was opened. Antonio quickly falls down to his back, slightly burnt and injured but not dead. The Fire starts consuming everything around him, the room was hellish red, consumed by the the flames with the carpets and textiles serving as fuel. He crawls over to safety watching the flames start to consume the building, watching this dreaded heat around him was making him freeze, he looks over to find an fire extinguisher, another bad call in a critical situation, as the fire emergency switch was just a few meters next to it, he starts trying to put the fire out, but to no avail, he drops the can, and looks towards this gigantic titan of flames and smoke, raging around the halls and consuming the warehouse. He grabs his head in desperation and gasping for air and makes a decision... he starts walking away... there was no saving the building now, but there was time to save to people in it.
Eventually as Antonio yells for help, he finally hits the emergency switch, but the fire is to strong and already to big, the water just evaporates trying to cool the fire. More and more people run away from the building and stand outside looking towards hell it self. Antonio among them.
The fire starts spreading towards other industrial buildings, catching fuel and other flammable materials, turning the industrial park into a combat zone, situated at the centre of hell it self. People trying to escape by any means they can, with explosions being heard all across the industrial park. Eventually the Fire Department arrives, but even the brave firefighters as they arrive to this hell zone, discover that the information given was far wrong to what they were facing, losing precious time in calling reinforcements. More and more firefighters and fire trucks and other fire fighting vehicles would arrive across the day, with the news of this gigantic fire reaching the news and being broadcast to the world. Around 2403 Firefighters were in constant combat with the flames, with fire trucks circulating between themselves to replenish their water tanks. The fight was just starting
In Madrid, the Government was being put at gun point for their blatant disregard for industrial safety regulations, and especially decreasing the budget of the National Firefighters and its own equipment. Fire was not only ravaging lives and buildings... but it was also ravaging the political system. In a few hours with so much accusations to the government and its blatantly disregard of the fire in Galicia, a vote of no-confidence in the Cortes Generales was quickly set up in record time and the Government ousted. Spain was in disarray, no government, no funds for fighting the fire, an a fire in a critical situation which could expand towards the city centre.
In the Government, a temporary government was being made consisting of the Second Strongest Party, the PSOE, the Center-Left Party, with Rafael Cortés as the Prime Minister.
