[Sweden]: Message to Great Britain and Norway

"I agree, the prospect of a joint exercise would not only further our cooperation but provide reassurance to the region. Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom have a great potential of working together long-term and having some real defence initiatives in place. Perhaps an exercise could be hosted in the Baltic Sea?"

"Doing it in either the Baltic or Norwegian Sea would be satisfying for us," he said.

"The Baltic and Norwegian Sea offer two similar but challenging environmental factors which will certainly assist our crews and equipment in developing their skills in a variety
of climates, situations and conditions - perhaps we can develop an exercise that encompasses both regions? I will have something drawn up and dispatched to your relevant departments as soon as possible.

Do we have anything further to discuss? Anything of note globally?"

"There is nothing more on our agenda, we will await the write up of a potential Baltic exercise. From here, unless there is any topic of discussion from my Norwegian counterpart, I think that concludes the call?"

"I'm happy you were both able to have a healthy dialogue. It's the strong position of Norway that the United Kingdom and Scandinavia should have nothing but the strongest sense of cooperation. I do believe this concludes our meeting," he said as he closed his suitcase and prepared for the quick flight home to Oslo.

Jakob returned to Oslo along with everyone that came with him. He shared the results of the meeting with King-in-Council as well with some members of the Storting.

The British Delegate made sure to offer his farewell to his Norwegian and Swedish counterparts, naming it a 'successful' step forward for relations in the region before departing back to the UK.
