Dearest Minister Onwuliri,

I am honored to be the one to contact you and your government on behalf of the Kingdom of Rattanakosin.

It is my hopes that we will be able to begin a prosperous bilateral relationship between our two respective nations. Our aspirations are that this bilateral relation will bring our economic, political, and militaristic spheres into the current era.

We are also able to export various products and resources to Nigeria, such as textiles and footwear, fishery products, rice, rubber, and automobiles.

Kindest Regards,
Don Pramudwinai
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Rattanakosin Kingdom

From Nigerian Minister of State: Viola Adaku Onwuliri
To The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Rattanakosin Kingdom: Don Pramudwinai

Nigeria is most happy to hear from you and is elated to see the establishment of a strong government over the Siamese people. We share your great hopes for a strong bilateral relationship between our peoples, and Nigeria prides itself on its history of strong bilateral relationships and open and free trade for the enrichment of our people. The average Nigerian owns a computer, a cell phone, an automobile, and more and more homes have air conditioning. We are a rapidly modernizing people, even as we beat back insurgents in our more rural Northern frontier, this has served the purpose of urbanizing our population, a benefit to them and to our economy.

We believe that Nigeria and the Rattanakosin Kingdom can indeed work together in all three of these spheres, to help further the prosperity and fortunes of our people. To begin such a relationship may we suggest the signing of a treaty of friendship, which would effectively end travel restriction between our nations for the reasons of commerce, education, and tourism. This will greatly stimulate travel and commerce between our two people as well as allow for an effective cultural exchange.

As for trade, Nigeria would be most interested in footware, rice, fishery products, and automobiles, we can offer in exchange:

1. Rubbers
2. Plastics
3. Crude Oil
4. Natural Gas
5. Tobacco

Further we can offer to handle all transport and logistics of all goods both too and from the trade route.

As for military cooperation, may we suggest that we begin this immediately by offering your government 150 APCs as a gift, further my government has recently reached deals with both Serbia and Russia to handle all our land army equipment needs, as such we find ourselves to be in possession of a surplus of french IFVs and Leclerc MBTs, as well as several pieces of French Artillery, if this equipment interests you we could perhaps work out a discounted sale of the equipment to you.

Dearest Minister Onwuliri,

A treaty of friendship between our nations would be something we're interested in signing.

In return for footwear, rice, fishery products, and automobiles, Thailand would be interested in importing plastics and crude oil.

We are honored to accept such a gift, Minister. We would also be interested in purchasing the entirety of your French equipment surplus.

Kindest Regards,
Don Pramudwinai

We would promote a biweekly exchange for our trade route, which city in your nation would you like to send and receive goods in?

As for the French Equipment, we must wait for the final conclusions of our contracts with Russia and Serbia, but we will immediately begin pricing the lot, we are quite sure that an agreement can be reached, and we believe this will help to improve our relations. The equipment breaks down as follows:

400 AMX 30
300 AMX-10P
200 Leclerc Main Battle Tank
50 CAESAR Self-propelled Howitzer
125 TRF1 Artillery

The Leclercs alone retail at 2,000,000,000.00 from the French, however we would sell these tanks to you for 1,200,000,000.00. We would likely throw in the rest for 600,000,000.00. However we must wait for confirmation of our equipment contracts from Russia and Serbia.

Dearest Minister Onwuliri,

We would recommend the port of the city of Phuket to avoid any longer adventure than need be. I would also like to emphasize that at the moment, Thailand lacks any cargo ships and our exports to Nigeria would need to be loaded into the importing ships as they return to their home port. I hope that works for you.

As for the equipment, 1,800,000,000.00$ is more than reasonable, we accept and will await your confirmation of the Serbo-Nigerian and Ruso-Nigerian arms deal.

Kindest Regards,
Don Pramudwinai

My friend, I apologize for our silence in these recent months, internal matters caused a brief strangle hold over here at our state department, however, I hope we may continue our discussions in earnest. We will first and foremost dispatch our trade fleet to begin the trade that was so long agreed upon between our two peoples.

As for the arms deal, my nation is now ready to go forward with the agreement, and we will direct the Department of Defense to have the equipment in question taken down, packaged, and then handed over to our Trade Federation for shipment to your nation, which port would you like the equipment to arrive in?

Dearest Minister Onwuliri,

It is no problem, Thailand has suffered its own turmoil recently.

The money for the equipment has been transferred to your government and you may ship the equipment to the Port of Pattaya City.

As for products and resources, Thailand has recently acquired cargo ships and are ready to begin exporting our resources and products to Nigeria, which port should they dock in?

Don Pramudwinai

We have dispatched the equipment, and our ship will inform you as it approaches the EEZ. We are pleased that this deal was able to go forward, and we are hopeful we will be able to continue to offer your Kingdom any aid we can. We are proud of the way our alliance and our people have weathered the recent international troubles, and we are very certain that the CIS will be stronger with Thailand as a member. We are very eager to continue to work with your government, and we would propose that you send a contingent of your army and navy here for a joint military exercise and a goodwill tour. Nigeria is a beautiful country.

Dearest Minister Onwuliri,

We too are proud of avoiding any conflict during these dire times. We hope that this new unstable peace will last for some time, war is not something that Thailand is looking forward to nor to participate in.

I thank you for the kind words, I too believe that Thailand will be a wonderful asset to the Confederation of Independent States nor only for our strategic geographic location but our armed forces are only grown to become a true power and our economy is ever growing. Soon, Thailand will be a true power to rival with.

As for a joint exercise, how many ships and troops would Nigeria be willing to accept in the exercise?

Don Pramudwinai

Nigeria values all of its international relations, and we look forward to the expansion of our bilateral ties with Thailand as well as our ties within the Confederation. We believe that economic cooperation is key to our development and we look forward to joint infrastructure and cultural exchanges. My ministry of education states that there are 23 medical colleges offering full medical degrees in Thailand, we would like to arrange for the visas for as many Nigerian students as these colleges could accommodate. Further we would be interested in Thai schools of science, literature, and engineering. We hope to greatly expand the professional class of our country.

We would suggest a small exercise, perhaps three of four ships, and at most 1,000 land soldiers. We could also organize simply a joint special forces exercise, a much smaller exercise, but perhaps even more useful to our own budding armed forces. What is your opinion on the matter?

Dearest Minister Onwuliri,

We will be sending the following for the naval exercise:
  • x1 Izumo-class Helicopter Carrier - x7 SH-60J Anti-Submarine Helicopters, x2 UH-60J Search and Rescue Helicopters
  • x2 Valour-class Frigate - x2 AS332 Super Puma Helicopters
  • x1 30DX-class Frigate - x1 SH-60K Anti-Submarine Helicopter
  • x1 Matra-class Replenishment Oiler

As for the land army exercise, what type of exercise will it be? Amphibious warfare, savannah warfare, mountain warfare, swamp warfare, something else? This will help us secure the proper equipment and troops that would fit the exercise.

On the topic of Nigerian students, Thailand can accept roughly a thousand students. However, schools in the southern provinces are currently closed due to the high risk of terrorism by the insurgency. Here are the following colleges and universities in Thailand that offer science, literature, and engineering programs:

  • Kalasin University: science, liberal arts, and engineering programs.
  • Mahasarakham University: science, technology, and health programs.
  • Nakhon Phanom University: science and liberal arts programs.
  • Naresuan University: science, technology, and health programs.
  • Pathumwan Institute of Technology: engineering, technology, and science programs.
  • Ubon Ratchathani University: Science, liberal arts, and engineering programs.
  • Ramkhamhaeng University: Science and engineering programs.
  • Sukhothai Thammathirat University: Liberal arts programs.

Kindest Regards,
Don Pramudwinai
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Rattanakosin Kingdom
