The Action

Ten days have passed since the Lao police officer has detained five Thai secret agents at their police station. They would get released after a long time. The Thai agent would be able to go back to Thailand by using a public bus from Laos into Thailand, passing the same border that they used to infiltrate Laos. They would get back to the NIA headquarters and report everything they had experienced during their time in Laos to their higher officer. The information from the five secret agents would go around the government and to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs immediately after some time.

Subject: RE: Thai Citizen suspect missing in Laos

Security Type: Secure Encrypted Method - Protect by NIA Counter-Intelligence Service - The decryption key is sent separately via fax
Dear Minister,

We have received a statement from our missing citizens and have found them alive. We are miserable. They went missing inside your country by your law enforcement authority. We have questioned all of the mentioned Thai citizens in the last email, and they all answered in the same way. We have discovered that your police agency had arrested and detained our citizens on the 3rd of May and inappropriately destroyed their property by denoting a stick of dynamite at it. We had to continue to push further investigation with our victim, and we found the horrifying action that your police officer had accomplished to one of them. Mr. Naruesorn Chuthathep, both a victim and witness, has responded that your plainclothes police officer had tried to violently use a metal baton to beat him down to the ground. We have also found that your SWAT member has violated by shooting at the innocent who defended himself. We found him with bruises and broke a bone. We cannot tolerate this kind of violence. It will be destructive for our country.

Best Regard
Surakiart Sathirathai
Minister of Foreign Affairs.

==============================================

The invasion started at five in the morning. The Thai forces stated prepared at three. | The route into the attack point is under curfewed. | All the equipment is armed with their armament. | Some action will happen and finish in this post if there is no sufficient response. | The first arrival time is approximately for troops with transportation and the second for the infantry on foot. | All the personnel and equipment of the Air Force would be on high alert and ready to mobilize in 20 minutes. | The soldiers will not target civilians if not required.

Champasak Campaign

The First, Second, and Ninth Infantry Division would start the offensive attack with the military vehicle into Chonk Mek Custome House from their base with over 20,000 soldiers in no time. The motorized infantry would be the first to charge against it with full speed. They would fire at the Border Crossing Zone and seize the customs house and its area. They would raid the building with 336 soldiers from the 1st Infantry Division with 28 GAZ Tiger. The mechanized infantry would follow after the first attack and penetrate through the border crossing point along with the tank battalion. The support personnel would follow the soldier with their vehicle. They will all arrive at Pakse in 30 minutes. The soldiers that don't have the mobility vehicle will use the GAZ Sadko to transport themselves to the offensive, and some will march to Pakse, which will arrive in 8 hours. The 11th Infantry Division and the 2nd Cavalry Division would do the same as the previous assault but effortlessly pass the crossing point because it is under Thailand's control. The 115th Infantry Regiment would turn south with 1 in 5 of the support personnel to advance. They will return to their division after the expedition. The other unit would continue the offensive line to Pakse, which will arrive in 1 hour, and the foot soldier will reach in 13 hours. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Air Assault battalions would take off from their base with 380 personnel and arrive at Pakse in ten minutes. They all will seize each area that they pass during the offensive. The 11th Infantry Division and the 2nd Cavalry Division would continue to Houayhe, will arrive in 15 minutes and roughly 4 hours. The two divisions will continue to assault after all the soldiers have reached their destination. The 11th Infantry Division will offense toward the area around Ban Nongbôk Gnai, which arrive in 32 minutes and 5 hours. They will continue to assault after some rest to 15.408422841490593, 106.08863338562676 and will take them another 20 minutes and about 4 hours. The 2nd Cavalry Division will advance to Pak Song and take approximately the same time. They will continue to Houayxay to encamp and take 30 minutes and 6 hours. The 1st Infantry Division would go from Pakse to Nong Phai, taking 50 minutes and 8 hours. The 2nd and 9th Infantry Division would go from Pakse to Thang Beng in an hour and 10 hours for leg infantry. The 9th Infantry Division would rest there along with the soldier from the 2nd Infantry Division. The two divisions would send 4,257 soldiers with 387 military mobility vehicles(GAZ Vodnik and GAZ Tiger) to Khinak for expedition and will come back after four hours

Vientiane Prefecture Campaign

The Second Army motorized infantry would drive advance into Nongkhai Boundary Post, passing the only Thai-Laos Friendship bridge into Thanaleng Border Crossing station with hundreds of military vehicles and over 13,000 soldiers in under 15 minutes. There would be around 14,000 infantry in Vientiane after 35 minutes. They would seize the area and leave 341 soldiers to garrison the place. The border staff would not have enough time to react to the offensive because over a thousand soldiers had already arrived at them in the first four minutes. The Third Infantry Division will also use 250 M10 Riverine Patrol Boat to invade Vientiane beach at Mekhong River with 3,250 soldiers. They will arrive in under two minutes and will assault into the city. The soldiers would continuously attack and seize Vientiane and its surrounding area, which would not take more than 4 hours before the whole army would capture the entire city. The other units will follow the offensive constantly and ensure that they can capture the bridge without incident. The soldier will advance fast into any highway or road connected to the border crossing point and the bridge, which they will eventually control the routes in under 12 minutes. The Tank battalion and Mechanized infantry will capture the entire city and drive around to eliminate any resistance along with the other units. The 6th Cavalry Regiment will guard the city and the surrounding areas after they have won the battle. The rest of the 6th Infantry Division will be divided in half to continue the offensive if the Laos government hasn't capitated yet. They will go from Ban Nong-Heo and Don Noun to Phoa, which will take around 1 hour for the motorized and mechanized infantry and 10 hours for the leg infantry. The Third Infantry Division would assault from ban Mai to Ban Pak Ton, taking 30 minutes and 5 hours. The division then will get separate. The 3rd and 13th Infantry Regiment and half of the other units will forward to 18.184732, 102.182590(The village with Kokhea Market.), and will take them 16 minutes and 3 hours. The rest of the division will advance to 18.22002565283456, 102.24105514039759(The place with Togo ຮ້ານໂທມັດ), and will take roughly the same time as the previous group. The Eight Infantry Division will continue to advance into each area along to route from Don Noun to Phônhông, and the motorized and mechanized infantry will lead the offensive before the leg infantry, which will arrive in an hour and a half, and 15 hours. The Sixth Infantry Division will perform the same mission and carry the route from Sikeut to Phônhông, and they should arrive before the Eight Infantry Division, which makes them an hour and 13 hours.

Sainyabuli Campaign

The Third Army will pass the Phu Doo International Point of Entry (Thai Uttaradit) with full speed from their base and penetrate through the checkpoint in Laos with over 10,000 soldiers and advance to 18.137880, 101.282581, which will take them 20 minutes for the soldiers with the vehicle and 3 hours for the leg soldiers. Half of the 1st Cavalry Division will stop at 18.137880, 101.282581 and advance further north to Ban Ponkham, Ban Ponkham, and Ban Vanggnao(This group also past Ban Latsavang), which will take them 44 minutes and roughly 3 hours. They would then split into two groups and continue to Ban Houayxaykhao and Ban Palay, which they will eventually meet at Ban Pongven and go to Ban Nakham. It would take approximately half an hour for soldiers with transportation and three hours for infantry to arrive at their final destination. They will then advance another north to Ban Muangva to continue to Muang Thong and take them 50 minutes and 7 hours. They will then return to Ban Muangva after they get to rest. The other half of the 1st Cavalry Division would advance south into 17.722176310601782, 101.25241113092221, which take them around 2 hours and 13 hours. They will roam around the southern part of Sainyabuli Province and capture each place that they pass for a few days. The rest of the Third Army will progress toward Ban Khokkhaodo by crossing the Mekhong River using the bridge in half an hour and four hours. The 7th Infantry Division wouldn't cross the bridge but will aim at the north. The soldiers who are specialists in mountain warfare will take a long route to Muang Nan and will take about four hours for soldiers with vehicles and two days(entire waiting period) for the leg infantry to arrive. The motorized soldiers will also spare some to secure the bridge to reach their destination. The Fourth Infantry Division would continue the offensive line from Ban Khokkhaodo to 18.06383042841944, 101.70575090504268, will take them an hour and 9 hours before resting for a few hours. They will then continue to Muang Gi, which will take them another 1 hour and 50 minutes for the soldiers with vehicles and nine and an hour for leg Infantry.

Champasak Campaign
The Thai soldiers' initial efforts would go unanswered. The customs house would fall immediately, as well as Pakse. By the point that Thai infantry was arriving in the city was when the army woke up from its deep slumber. Laotian Cessna O-1 Birddogs would begin to fly scouting sorties over the city, shocked at seeing what appeared to be an invading force from their closest neighbor. The Laotian 4th army, hearing of the invasion, would quickly deploy up to Ban Soung, and begin laying minefields and digging trenches just as they had trained many times. While armed resistance was very light at the start, soon the Laotian paramilitary forces would begin to come out of the woodworks for hit and run attacks. The Thai 9th and 2nd Infantry divisions would take the hardest hits, their many hour-long marches being interrupted by ambush gunfire from either side of the heavily wooded roads, the very mobile individuals of the units able to quickly spot the Thai advance before driving back to their comrades to spread the information. Trees were felled along the roads, roads were flooded as best possible from rice paddies, and IEDs set up in ambush locations. By the time they had reached their final positions, it could be expected that about 500 Infantry were dead, 800 wounded, and several vehicles destroyed beyond repair across all Thai divisions in the region. The paramilitary fighters would suffer about 200 dead and 400 wounded, having the advantages of surprise and terrain. The 3rd Lao army would mobilize south towards Ban Phai, at which point they would dig trench systems, entrench artillery, and prepare for battle. Utilizing their BTR-152s they would crisscross up and down Route 13, the most important highway in the country, laying anti-armor and anti-personnel mines in anticipation of Thai forces pushing North. Cessna aircraft operated out of Xieng Khouang Airport would scout the highway, watching for any Thai forces and giving foreword via radio links.

Vientiane Prefecture Campaign
The Thai forces invading the capital, however, would have an entirely different beast to deal with. Based in Vientiane is the 2nd Lao Army, the largest and best-equipped. As the first Thai troops crossed the Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge, the Lao army launched into action. Immediately the majority of the infantry and armored force, about 7,600 men, would rush to Dongphosy. From here they would overlook the bridge while relentlessly firing cannon and tank shells onto the oncoming Thai horde. Infantry would quickly disseminate throughout the nearby houses and streets, settling into close-quarters urban fighting with the Thai who had already crossed. Firing from rooftops and curtained windows, any Thai soldier crossing the open street would be hit a dozen times before he reached the other side. Forced into the buildings, the Thai would have to creep through dense old apartment buildings, not knowing when death lurked around a corner or through a doorway. Soon, the dozen BM-21 Grads assigned to the army would receive a highly symbolic order: The bridge must go. Firing 9M218 rockets, carrying HEAT submunitions, all twelve trucks would bombard the length of the bridge based on prior maps and knowledge, as well as on the ground reports. Within seconds, with hundreds of rockets slamming into the stone bridge, its supports began to give way, each of its lengths beginning to drop into the river. Hundreds of troops caught on the bridge were instantly pasted across the smooth stone. Finally, as the first barrage came to an end, the last of the bridge collapsed fully. The thin and flimsy bridge had been blasted to smithereens, and those Thai who had managed to cross were now stranded in enemy territory, doomed.

While this was happening, the Lao marines were shredding the amphibious landing. Having easily been able to spot the massing of so many boats in one place, the Marines would have built up makeshift firing positions supplemented by some 25 122mm howitzers from the 2nd army. With about 35 howitzers and field guns, 25 PT-76 amphibious tanks with their own guns, and 600 elite infantry armed with rocket launchers and machine guns, the marines got to work on their floating targets. Artillery would be firing at about 8 rounds per minute, and across all 35 guns, over the two-minute period well over 500 shells would be sent flying into the fragile Thai watercraft. The PT-76s would alone keep up a similar pace. Overall, around 1000 artillery, cannon, and rocket shells would be fired at the oncoming watercraft. The vast majority, if not all troops on board would be killed by blasting shells or drown under the weight of their dead comrades, and the few who would make it to shore would face death at the hands of the marines' rifles.

Sainyabuli Campaign
On this front little could be done, without any major military formation in the area. Paramilitary units would however HEAVILY harass the troops occupying the region. Several hundred casualties are expected in this regard. The 1st Lao Army will hold its ground in its HQ, preparing trenches and minefields. The restoration of all outdated military hardware in the country would be ordered. Recruitment for more paramilitaries would begin immediately. The Lao government would remain silent for the time being, but news agencies would widely cover the events, spreading the knowledge to the world.

Champasak Campaign

The soldiers that march along the highways would suffer some casualties from the ambush, but the vehicle would not get much damage due to its speed and the armored protection from the slower ones. The Laotian paramilitary forces would suffer severe loss from the tired marching soldier. Most of them had Underbarrel grenade launchers, some Machine guns, and almost everyone had grenades with themselves. They would suffer the same casualty, but they will continually fire into the forest, which will cause the forest to fill with dust. The signal corp battalion would call the artillery regiment of their division to bombard the forest around them immediately, but not too close to themselves. It will result in 576 explosions per minute in each area for ten minutes, and they would then see that the forest got razed down to the ground. This fire support will result almost entirely in the ambushing paramilitary dying. The Thai soldier casualty from the ambush are 350 dead and 1,000 wounded. The army soldiers will continue the offensive as their plan. There will be three new campaigns from this one. There would successfully capture Champasak with 500 dead and 1,750 wounded.
New Campaign

Salavan Campaign

The 1st and 11th Infantry Divisions would continue the offensive line from their encamp in the finished Champasak Campaign to begin a new campaign. The 1st Infantry Division would take a route from Nong Phai to Napong, following the main highway to reach the new destination, taking 35 minutes and 6 hours to arrive. They would then continue after organizing their troops and forward to Nadonkhong, a village 8 kilometers from Salavan city. It will take them 1 hour and 20 minutes for soldiers with transportation and roughly 13 hours for any leg infantry. The commander would order them to rest and encamp to prepare for the assault on another strategic city in their plan. The 11th Infantry Division would forward their soldiers along highways to arrive at Beng village with a three-way intersection and reorganize their soldiers. This route will take them 40 minutes and 6 hours to finish. They will then continue to Nakosao village, almost 5 kilometers from Salavan city. The commander will encamp the division to prepare for the cooperative assault with the 1st Infantry Division at 7 in the morning of the next day.

The 11th Infantry Division would not peacefully arrive at their destination because they would find the Laotian 4th army waiting for them. The soldiers from the 11th Infantry Division with their vehicles with 5,040 soldiers would have to pass Ban Soung. They would not immediately assault the village but decided to stop over 200 military vehicles in the traffic jam. A soldier from the reconnaissance battalion would take to their officer. "Sir, we found something anomaly." They looked at the imaginary report from the UAV. They could hear soldiers chattering because they kept arriving at the jam. "This route is supposed to be clear, but there are many straight holes around the village. We also see some people while we stop driving at full speed to reconnaissance. I am afraid that there will be the enemy ahead." The officer went to the commander for a minute before walking to the radio operator. The soldiers from the combat engineer and service support battalion(500 soldiers) would start to equip themselves with the mine detecting tool and Metal detectors. There were 300 snipers, and almost everyone started to mount their machine guns on the vehicle. The sniper and the demining personnel would work together as the training, and the other soldiers spare some range from them. They start around two kilometers from Ban Soung. They would move gradually, and the sniper could shoot anyone that moved into their sight. They would encounter the soldier from the Laotion 4th army still digging the trench, and most of them would get killed by the sniper. The others soldiers would start to fire their machine guns as they got close to the village, or the enemy acknowledged them. Most of the enemy would get shot or have to hide by now. They would continue after they have cleared the mind field for the local civilian, which will take around an hour. They would fire back at anything enemy that tried to attack them. They will continue the plan afterward, as mentioned.

Sekong Campaign

The 2nd Cavalry Division will begin another campaign to capture the Sekong province to capture Sekong city. They will start from their encamp and go to Thateng, taking ten minutes for the soldier with transportation and one and a half hour for the leg infantry. They will then travel for 50 kilometers along the highway to reach the destinated city in their plan. It will take around 1 hour and ten hours. The motorized and mechanized infantry will be the first to capture the city and result in the capitated of the province. The division will encamp at that city, but the soldier with transportation will roam with their vehicle around the region to ensure order and wait for their next assignment.

Attapeu Campaign

The 2nd and 9th Infantry Divisions will begin the latest offensive of their army. They will have to take a long journey to arrive at the province's capital and successfully capture the entire region. The commander of the two divisions used to argue regarding what plan they should undertake to capture the city, but they have agreed on the headquarters plan like the others. The soldiers with the vehicle will drive non-stop to Attapeu city and rapidly seize the area, taking them three hours and a half. The leg infantry will have to march a long way to the destination, but the bad luck one is the soldier of the 9th Infantry Division. They will have to march to control the region, while another division will encamp at the same place. This journey will take them two days to arrive because it will take them almost 22 hours to march non-stop until they reach the city.

Vientiane Prefecture Campaign

The officers would use their megaphones as they advanced the Second Laotion army defend. "If you are a goddamn civilian and take a cover inside your house while the soldier is inside your house, get out! We will attack the building, and we won't shoot you." They would make sure that the civilians knew the situation, but most would escape from their homes after the military started to attack. All soldiers with the military vehicle would successfully cross the bridge and rapidly assault over 16,000 soldiers (including the IFV, APC, and Trucks). They would know that the enemy was inside the civilian house and the street. They would fusillade merciless non-stop into each building with cannon, ammunition, grenade, and rocket, which most civilians had fled. This aggression would result in severe casualties for the Lao Army, and the building near the border crossing station got destroyed. The Lao soldier wouldn't be able to obliterate the bridge but rather damage it. The Thai soldiers from the other side would continuously fire from their position to the other side to protect the only route. This damage from the Lao soldier would slow down the invasion by almost an hour due to the lower weight that the bridge could hold. The Thai soldier would suffer around a thousand death and 2,200 casualties from capturing the city.

The Lao marine would be able to set a defensive position before most of the Thai soldiers finished the landing and already getting out of the beach. The Lao marine would still receive from 300,000 to 800,000 rounds of ammunition per minute if they could reach the beach before the Thai soldier. It would result in a suicide mission themselves. The Thai soldiers would fire on the enemy marine that suffered casualties from over 1200 machine guns from the ship and the soldier. They would get into the city and continue the assault with the others. They would suffer around 157 death and 600 wounded. This campaign will result in a new one.
New Campaign

Vientiane Campaign

The 3rd, 6th, 8th, and 4th Infantry Division and the 1st Cavalry Division will launch an offensive into Vientiane province to capture another strategic region that will arbitrate the fate of the Lao government and its people's morale. The First Phoenix team will draw a new offensive route along the highway aside from the Mekhong River the establish dominance. They will travel to 17.98430980709939, 101.69638486129561 with only the personnel with the vehicle, which will take around five hours before they can reunite with the division, and the leg soldiers will merge with the rest. They will travel to Hin Gnome, where the 6th and 8th Infantry Divisions have passed it. This route will take one hour and a half for the soldier with transportation and 11 hours for leg infantry. The 6th and 8th Infantry Divisions will also travel to Hin Gnome and take 20 minutes and three hours. They will wait for the 3rd Infantry Division. They will then continue the offensive to 18.92654905822323, 102.45055369739434, which will take 30 minutes and 10 hours. The 4th Infantry Division will continue from their offensive plan to arrive at Xang village, taking 3 hours and 22 hours. They will encamp there and wait for the reinforcement. The 1st Cavalry Division will follow the 4th Infantry Division.

Sainyabuli Campaign

The Thai soldier would successfully capture the entire province with 270 death and 1,250 wounded. They would continue the offensive line with two new campaigns.

New Campaign

Bolikhamsai Campaign

The 3rd Cavalry Division will undertake another solo offensive with their troop to capture the Paksan city and the province. The journey is sure to belong and will take another two days for the unfortunate infantry and have to walk on foot. The soldiers with vehicles will rush their fuel consumption along the highway until they reach Paksan city. It will take them one hour and a half. The infantry that has no transportation will march for 9 hours and rest before waking up and walking for another 9 hours to arrive. They will continue to hold the city for a day before starting another journey. They will continue to Phonsy to encamp, taking an hour and 11 hours.

Luang Prabang Campaign

The 7th Infantry Division currently encamp at Muang Nan has received a new mission that suits their mountain warfare specialist. They will capture Luang Prabang city, another strategic point for the offensive plan. They will take a route to 19.847992751562515, 102.14746685587022 to encamp and prepare themselves to seize the city. This journey will take them an hour and 14 hours to arrive. They will organize for a day and will launch an attack at noon.

Champasak Campaign
The wild usage of grenades and incendiaries in the heavily wooded area would result in disaster. While they tried their best to avoid their own, explosives fired mostly blindly into a wooded area would inevitably have backfired on the edges of the columns. As grenades rained down and paramilitary troops fled for their lives, the trees would slowly smolder before bursting into flame and then spreading rapidly through the vast underbrush. Within an hour, the forest was truly blazing and spread quickly beyond the road and across the countryside. Soon, the entire route of the Thai army was engulfed in thick, choking black smoke. Immediately, from nearby towns, cities, and other authorities firefighters, both professional and volunteer, would begin flooding the road, attempting to quench the flames to no avail. Wagons, pickup trucks, and fire engines would flood the roads, obstructing the soldier's marching routes. While they had obliterated about half of the armed resistance in that province, they had also managed to set the entire wider region ablaze very quickly. The road ahead of them was a hot and ashy one, with trees having tumbled onto the road and smoke clogging the breathable air and heavily impairing visibility. Soon, the remainder of the guerilla forces would begin picking through the burning fires, and as individuals would hide through thick smoke and pick off Thai officers at range. The slow process would yeild significantly fewer Thai casualties but would be very difficult for the Thai to retaliate against effectively.

Salavan Campaign
As the Thai vehicles approached the town, the Cessna aircraft scouting above the city would spot them among the traffic jam, having a commanding presence that had civilians parting way for them. Immediately, it would be radioed into the on-the-ground soldiers, who would immediately retaliate. The M101 Howitzers of the 4th Army roared as shells flew over the short distance, crashing down among the slow-moving sappers. The Cessna's would help provide ranging information and constant targeting, while a handful of infantry hiding in brush closer to the town with rangefinders did the same, safely hidden from view. As well as this, the CS/SS4 rapid-fire mounted mortars would approach closer to the force, about a kilometer and a half away, and then also open up with their 40 round per minute mortar shots. If the Thai progressed far enough, the mortars would retreat back, maintaining skirmishing distance of 1.5 kilometers easily. With over 24 hours of marching for the 11th Infantry, the 4th Laos Army would have plenty of time to complete their trench systems, which would be completed in functioning order within 6 hours and by the time the Thai arrived in excellent shape, with many nuances allowing for far better protection.

As the artillery shells continued to rain down upon the Thai sappers, their work would either be forced to a halt or they would be killed in the process. Soon after, artillery fire would redirect towards the main force of the 11th. Heavy casualties are expected. Assuming the Thai would somehow get withing range of their snipers, Laotian snipers who had already had hours to entrench and disguise their nests would have the advantage over the Thai snipers. They would one by one pick them off, travelling between many different spots as to avoid being detected due to firing from a single location too often. The infantry would be well protected, and using periscopes they would watch for oncoming enemies, utilising machine gun nests surrounded in sand bags and particle board to cut down any targets. Up to a kilometer out around the city in all directions, two-man pickets would be set to watch for incoming enemies. They were on orders not to fire until fired upon, and were to aid in early warning and target acquisition.

Sekong Campaign
The 2nd Cavalry would arrive and easily secure the city, but the mechanized and motorized infantry would be severely harrassed while "keeping the peace" in the region. As they roamed, they would be struck by a combination of IEDs planted along the road, surprise RPG rounds from the bushes, and disguised trenches dug into the roads that would cause the vehicles to nosedive downward and likely heavily damage them. The perpetrators of these attacks would either already be gone or be dispersed and running by the time the Thai could respond. Usually they acted in groups of about 4-5 men a piece, often one armed with a machine gun, another with an RPG, and the rest with standard rifles.

Attapeu Campaign
The city of Attapeu itself fell somewhat slower than the others that had come before, being surrounded on three sides by river the paramilitary forces would disperse throughout the cities buildings, about 500 in total. Firing from rooftops and high windows, they would quickly flee through the alleyways and small passages well known to them as natives. Molotov cocktails would be produced en masse and utilized against enemy vehicles in conjunction with rocket propelled grenade launchers. They would fight tooth and nail for the city, and when they were finally pushed back they would ferry themselves over by canoe across the Xe Khong river and disappear into the brush. As for the infantry that would march for days on end throughout the Laotian jungle, they would be harrassed viciously by the roughly 2,000 other paramilitary personnel still abroad in the province. Against these exhausted foes the geurilla attacks would be particularly effective.

Vientiane Prefecture Campaign
The Thai would have underestimated the strength of the Laotian troops. While the first few buildings would no doubt be destroyed by bombardment, past that would be obscured by the shells of the already destroyed buildings, forcing Thai troops to advance on foot. As well as this, the rocket artillery wouldkeep up a consistent pounding onto the bridge with support now from the 12 2S3 Akatsiya SPA, which would surely finally bring the bridge down with its massive shells. If by some extra-ordinary circumstances it did not collapse, then consistent rocket fire would make it impassible for fear of being reduced to a fine red mist. Tanks assigned to the unit as well as artillery would help to take out Thai armor and cannons so that the infantry would only have to worry about other infantry in their defenses. The Laotian rocket artillery would also turn its attention to the massed Thai troops both on the beachhead and who had already crossed the friendship bridge, raining down HE fragmentation submunitions which would easily shred any soft targets not in cover, forcing the Thai into buildings where they could not properly take advantage of their RPGs. The Laotians would get their door to door urban fight.

On the beachhead, while the Marines infantry would likely take heavy casualties fighting from cover with machine guns, would deal disproportionately more to the oncoming Thai troops. As well as this, the howitzers and other cannons used would have forward facing shields, which would help protect the crew who would be firing from out of the machine guns effective range. The Tanks assigned to the beachhead would be unphased by the machine guns, and would retaliate fiercely, the cannon dumping helpless troops wounded into the river and the coaxial machine gun lighting up those who were able to land. A large proportion of the Thai landing force would be sunk in the water, and those that landed would face feirce resistance all the way. The city would not give so easily, and fighting would continue in its early stages.

The troops that would begin flooding into the province would face by far the heaviest geurilla fighting of all, taking a heavy toll on them as they would advance. Based on the Thai's earlier reckless behavior, it could be inferred that once again vast wildfires would begin to spread in this region as well as a consequence to the geurilla warfare.

Bolikhamsai Campaign
Laotian resistance here would once again be heavy, being close to the capital. everything previously stated about fires and harassment of troops on long marches applies once again here.

Luang Prabang Campaign
The Thai forces would, of course, be harrassed continuously be paramilitary forces all the way to their staging area. However, once reaching it, the harassment would go silent. Only to be replaced by hellfire raining down from the sky. 20 BM-21 Grads and 22 howitzers would lay down a heavy blanket of shrapnel ontop of the Thai forces, unsuspecting and caught off guard in the open. The BM-21 Grads alone had the firepower to level a small village in a single volley. As well as this, the clouds parted and the sky began to roar itself: 25 MiG-21 would shriek into the airspace above the Thai army, dropping 2 500kg and 2 250kg bombs apiece onto them, causing the earth to further erupt. The sheer show of ordnance would likely cripple the Thai soldiers. The MiGs would return to base and load up just as before, returning for a second go around.

––––––––––––––––––

As the Thai army finally began to face the professional army of Laos, the artillery and other ordinance possessed by the army and airforce would be brought to bear in full against the invaders. Finally, heavy damage could be dealt and the grudgingly slow infantry combat could begin inching across the land, bringing death and destruction anywhere it found itself residing for a time.

The Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters

The three commanders of the Armed Forces sit inside the control room, with many people reporting and coordinating the situation. They receive multiple reports of Lao Armed Forces using its air force and artillery to retaliate with their military. The Air Chief Marshal suggested allowing the airforce to engage in combat to regain air superiority. The others in the room begin to request the General to permit to use of all artillery toward the enemy, although they got many people in Foreign Affairs demanding them not to do. More people approach their table and suggest many tactical plans while debating with each other. It won't take much time before the Lao military force the Thai Armed Forces to give the full blow against them without relenting.

Champasak Campaign

The Thai military decided to take care of the wildfire by sending 70 helicopters with Thailand and Laos flags and the Red Cross symbol on both sides. The service support regiment has equipped them with equipment to extinguish hazardous fires. The same event will adapt to the Lao paramilitary that ambushed the Thai soldier from the forest. Most of them would die from the artillery fire and explosion because they would have no time to react, and the Thai soldier was still taking cover. The Air Assault Squadron from the 1st Army will fly around the area of the incident and will take care of the fire hazard. They would succeed in extinguishing them before they spread too far and turn into a disaster. They would now capture the entire province.

Salavan Campaign

The Thai soldier would notice an object flying in the sky and soon realize that it was an enemy airplane. The Signal Corp would call for air support from Ubon airbase. The Air Force would send 101st Fighter Squadron to control air superiority with 20 a Saab JA37 T(D) with Standard Loadout. The airmen will take a few hours before they all can take out, but the first five of them will arrive in less than half an hour. The Thai aircraft would take down Cessna eventually. The Thai soldiers would now acknowledge that the enemy would soon know their location, and they would assault the village with 36 artillery support. The Field Artillery Regiment would bombard most areas in front of the Thai soldiers with over 288 explosions per minute or almost five explosions per second. They would not suffer much from the minefield because most of them would get explored by the artillery and couldn't destroy the armored vehicle. They would not finish the trench because the attacking soldier was the motorize and mechanized infantry. The artillery fire and Thai soldiers would destroy the Lao 4th Army and would result in 4,500 death and others getting injured. The Thai soldiers would then continue by normal after winning the battle. The 101st Fighter Squadron would find the Lao artillery battalion and destroy them. The Thai military would not suffer many casualties (200) from the engagement because they would realize the enemy's acknowledgment and immediately respond.

The 1st and 11th Infantry Divisions would now arrive at their location with their strength from reinforcement and ready to attack Salavan. The commander launched the assault on the city with over a thousand vehicles heading toward the Salavan capital with 11,796 soldiers were rushing within half an hour. There would be another ten thousand in an hour. The Lao military would not have any soldiers left other than paramilitary force to defend the city. Most of the Thai personnel have killed most of the Lao 4th Army. They would eventually capture the city in no time. They would take a rest for a day. The Salavan province should now be under Thai control. The 1st Infantry Division would continue to Ban Nong Ko, taking an hour and 13 hours, and The 11th Infantry Division would head to Ban Taup, taking 2 hours and 14 hours. They would start the new campaign.

Savannakhet Campaign | New
The 1st Infantry Division would head west toward faraway Thailand to encamp at Ban Xènouan, taking an hour and 14 hours. The leg soldier would once again have to march a long way, but their commander let them take a rest, which would take them 16 hours to arrive instead. The 11th Infantry Division would try to reach the national highway at Phin, taking 4 hours for the soldier with the vehicle to arrive. The leg soldier would also struggle to travel to the destination. It would take them two days to arrive due to the obstacles.

Sekong Campaign

The Thai soldiers would try to confront the locals saying that they won't hurt them if they also feel the same. They would act entirely on the different sides of the coin toward the civilian and the enemy. They would be uncompromising toward the Lao paramilitary and retaliate against them with all they got. The Thai soldiers got trained in maneuver warfare. They could immediately respond to the guerrilla hit and run tactic of the Lao paramilitary and could capture some of them. Sekong province is now under Thai control

Attapeu Campaign

The Thai soldier would eventually capture the city along with the province of Attapeu despite the number of paramilitaries. The personnel would be able to respond to the ambushing enemy as it was part of their training. The Lao paramilitary could be somewhat effective because the Thai soldiers would know how to rest along the way, and the commander is sure to be human. The soldier with transportation would easily capture the city many hours ahead of the leg infantry because most vehicles are off-road. The Lao paramilitary could damage some of the soldiers and vehicles along the way, and most victim soldiers will end up severely injured. Some of the Lao RPGs could moderately damage the armed vehicle.

Vientiane Prefecture Campaign

The Lao defender would have to face over 450 modern tanks that had crossed the bridge along with the others long ago and hundreds of IFV and APC. The drone from the reconnaissance vehicle would tell the exact location of the Lao artillery and other fire supports. The 5 Field Artillery Regiments had received permission from the headquarters to show the Lao military ten percent of Thailand's firepower. They would call for the bombardment of the military zone in Vientiane with over 360 artillery. The Field Artillery had already in their formation and prepared to fire immediately following the order. They would shell at any military location in Vientiane with military installation(Base, camp, artillery, or rocket displacement, not civilian.). The Artillery Regiment would deliver 1,620 explosions and shells per minute(27 shells and explosions per second.) at the designated area. They would stop as soon as they had destroyed the target to avoid damaging any more civilian property. The Lao military would manage to destroy the bridge when most Thai soldiers had crossed. The leg infantry of the 6th and 8th Infantry Division and the 3rd Cavalry Division would not cross the bridge on time. The engineer of each division would start to cooperate with the hired construction company to work on crossing the bridge. The Thai soldiers on the other side (approximately 26,500 and most equipment.) would now successfully push into the Vientiane area while firing at the target. They could pass the destructuring of the building due to the capability of the engineer battalion. The Lao soldiers would suffer severe casualties because the Thai soldier would fire at any hostile target. The IFV and APC all have the canon with themselves and can easily counter-attack or attack first along with the machine gun. The armored vehicle received much damage from the Lao attack tactic, but the engineer would pick them up and let the other continue while repairing it. The Lao 2nd Army would lose 25 percent of its strength.

The Thai soldier would kill 200 Lao Marines while on the boat. They would receive many fire support from soldiers from the other side of the river who fired bullets, ATGMs, and Recoilless rifles. The sniper from the Thai army would fire at the Lao marine, killing another 50 marines. The Lao marine would not receive any support from its howitzer because the Thai artillery had destroyed them already. The Thai soldier would successfully land at the beach with 250 casualties until they finally captured it. They would fight with the remaining marine with non-stop canon and sniper firing from the other side of the river. They would attack and would eventually capture all the marine and their equipment and continue to assault the city.

Bolikhamsai Campaign

The Thai soldiers would suffer casualties, mainly the leg infantry with about 500. They would have reached the city that the motorized soldiers and others had captured. They would try to confront the locals again by showing a friendly attitude to gain compliance with the province. They would take control of the Bolikhamsai and roam the region to support the locals for a few days.

Luang Prabang Campaign

The 7th Infantry Division would be in the city of Luang Prabang when the Lao military decided to attack the Thai soldiers. They got bombarded by the Lao artillery along with the civilian population. The soldiers would start to help the Lao people to a safe place, and they had sent the reconnaissance UAV to find the location of the enemy. The Signal Corps would call the artillery support and air support from the Chiang Mai airbase. The Field Artillery would order 36 artillery to fire into Lao howitzer and rocket launcher and destroy it. The 103rd Fighter Squadron with 20 Saab JA37 T(D) with Standard Loadout would take off from the Chiang Mai airbase and engage with Lao MiG-21. They would not arrive on time but fast enough for an entire squadron to engage with the second round of the Lao aircraft. They would intercept the air mission while flying high to attack the enemy.

Champasak Campaign
While the continued retaliation by the Thai would claim the lives of a few more Lao paramilitaries, thanks to their small scale attacks the damage done to the people was magnitudes less than what was done to the forests and environment on either side of the road. As the 70 unarmored Thai Ka-226s flew low and slow towards the raging wildfires, the Lao paramilitaries took advantage of the juicy targets, either not seeing the red crosses or disregarding them as a trick. Strela-2 MANPADS fired off from across the dense jungle of Southern Laos, through the growing smog of wildfire smoke. Immediately afterward, machine guns began intermittently rattling off shots, punctuated by the sounds of unarmored helicopters crashing into the trees, their pilots dead or wounded, their fuel tanks punctured, or their vital fire retardent draining from bullet holes in their containers. The number of Ka-50s in the swarm, their main armaments dropped in exchange for large water buckets, would be berated with machine-gun fire which would plink off, before Strela missiles came flying towards their cockpits. Soon, these aircraft too slept in the trees. Within ten minutes of the helicopters entering Laos, about 15 had been forced to turn back and the other 55 were ablaze, helping to worsen the wildfire they were sent to contain.

Salavan Campaign
It would be most reasonable to assume that the Thai had not started to blindly fire into a village based on a few aircraft above, and so the Lao would in all likelihood get the first shot in. The Thai artillery, still in transport position after having been stopped in traffic, would take a minute or two to get into a responsive position. In this time, the Lao infantry, realizing it was entering combat with its defenses unprepared, would immediately scatter in all directions while maintaining a small degree of order. This would make their formations far less dense and more difficult to target. Dispersing into the vegetation on either side of the village, the majority of the force would regroup in attack elements of about 200 men apiece and lead light skirmishing attacks on the flanks of the 11th soldiers while they waiting for the shells to stop falling. The Lao, with accurate spotters, would be far more effective in their barrages than the Thai who were effectively firing blindly into the town. As well as this, the Lao would not strike their own mines due to the aforementioned spotters, so any effort would have to be made by the Thai artillery which would have to allocate a significant amount of time and ammunition to clear the field. In the end, after about a twenty-minute engagement, the Thai would have suffered about 1,000 casualties, mostly from the rapid-fire mortar systems, another 400 from the efforts of the Lao infantry, about 200 from the land-mines in the Thai attempts to fight off the Lao infantry, and lost about 8 self-propelled artillery, 18 towed artillery, two tanks, and at least 30 APCs. The Lao artillery would be hit significantly, with about 12 of the 20 howitzers hit and destroyed or their crew killed, about 300 soldiers dead from fighting the Thai, and another 100 from the earliest stages of the artillery bombardment before the city had been mostly abandoned in favor of the jungle. Quickly the Cessnas flying above would come crashing down from the Thai air patrols, leaving the artillery to the still accurate positioning provided by the foot spotters.

Sekong Campaign
Thai soldiers here would take a good number of casualties. In their brutal strike backs against the Lao soldiers, it was inevitable that a small handful of civilians would be caught in the crossfire or misidentified. This was all it took to turn the population, who was already openly hostile towards the Thai, spraying them with paint and human waste whenever they got close enough, into a force of violence. Soon, they had joined the paramilitaries in building roadblocks and digging sabotaging trenches. Moving logistics through this region, like all the others, would be incredibly difficult and slow. But the Thai would gain "control" nonetheless, even with paramilitaries running rampant.

Attapeu Campaign
Despite a valent effort, in which every vehicle killed by the Lao was commemorated by a drink and a photo, the paramilitaries would soon be forced out of the city and into the woods, where they would continue their missions.

Vientiane Prefecture Campaign
The Thai soldiers attacking would manage to quickly overwhelm the suburbs where the Lao had taken up their first defenses. Both sides would take heavy casualties from the initial artillery bombardments and tank exchanges. Quickly the Lao would retreat back to the main city, once again taking up an urban defensive position, forcing the Thai into CQC, assuming they did not simply begin bombarding an urban area with no discrimination. The battles would be street for street and building for building, and the fighting would slow to a crawl. This battle would be long if the Thai were to avoid totally destroying the city.

Bolikhamsai Campaign
The Thai here would face a similar situation as in Sekong prior and currently.

Luang Prabang Campaign
Firstly, the initial Lao attack would occur during the one-day preparation period specified in the previous orders. Therefore, as the Lao ordnance rained down, a minimal number of civilians would be affected. As the artillery bombardment continued, the Thai would launch their drones as this had not been previously mentioned, but AAA within the city attached to the First Army would bring a quick end to their scouting. The first run-around of the MiGs would devastate the Thai force, but as they looped around for a second go, they would be brutally shot down by the Thai aircraft. About 8 of the MiGs would drop their armaments and accelerate to their maximum speed, outpacing the Thai fighters and escaping. The other 17 would all be shot down and crash into the jungles, their bombs going off, starting fires.

Subject: Peace Talks in Bangkok
To: Prime Minister of Thailand

If you truly see us as your brothers and sisters,
then why are you causing us such horrible suffering
based on the experience of your civilians with a handful
of corrupt individuals without even so much as a courtesy
call beforehand? This entire situation could be handled in a
peaceful manner. However, based on your lackluster
reasoning and the aggressive terms used in your message,
I have a feeling that you are trying for something more than
you are letting on. I will however attend your peace accords,
and I hope we can come to a conclusion where we can end
the suffering on either side.

Best regards,
General Secretary of LPRP

Champasak Campaign

The Lao paramilitary force would not survive even one of them. The Field Artillery Regiment of each division in the First Army has acquired mostly M758 ATMG. The M758 ATGM is a fully hydraulic computerized self-propelled artillery that fired ERFB-BB projectile as a standard for the army. The explosion from the ERFB-BB has a lethal area of 1100 square meters. The system itself has no problem elevating the weapon for the shell to land in the following location continually. There are 72 firing around the Thai soldier and have a lethal zone of over 600,000 square meters in a minute. There is no way anyone ambushing would survive or fast enough to escape. The Lao soldier or any paramilitary forces around the area would suffer from shock waves and smoke that would kill them and force them to run away from the place. There will be 1,200 Thai soldiers suffering from the artillery fire. The Field Artillery Regiment personnel has mastered the system and know how to calculate the lethal zone to avoid killing the Thai soldiers. The operation would continue, and the helicopter would extinguish the fire. They would fly not too high from the tree base on a typical firefighter operation. They would capture the province and end the campaign.

Salavan Campaign

The Thai soldiers would blindly fire into a village because of the aircraft, but they had eyes to see the soldiers preparing the defend themselves. The Thai Armed Forces have replaced every artillery with self-propelled one, and most of the divisions here are from the First Army with the most advanced equipment. The 11th Infantry Division has 36 M109A2 Howitzer and M758 ATMG. They have a maximum range of 21 and 41 kilometers, and the M758 ATMG is more flexible to move. The artillery(self-propelled) has carried the shell with it and can stop at the road and undertake rapid-fire support toward the village with only a minute of preparation. The Thai soldiers would get the first hit, but there were bombardments from their back in no time. It would take two minutes before the lethal zone around the Lao 4th army strongpoint with over 1,100,000 square meters. The personnel would resupply their shell from the logistic truck. The Thai soldiers would not be able to intervene in the bombardment because they basically couldn't. The Thai soldiers would suffer 300 death, while the Lao 4th Army would suffer 4,500 casualties, and the others would suffer severe injuries. The Thai soldiers would lose about 25 GAZ Tigr and 3 GAZ Vodnik. They would continue the operation as previously mentioned and capture the Salavan province. The aircraft would fly back to its base.

Savannakhet Campaign

The 1st Infantry Division would travel from Ban Xènouan to Ban Phosay, taking an hour for the soldier with transportation and 16 hours for leg infantry. They would not encounter the 3rd Lao army because they prefer to take a highway instead of indirectly. The Reconnaissance battalion would send 2 Elbit Hermes 450 UAVs around the route, flying at 5,500 meters and 130 km/h. The UAV would continually send information back to the operator. They would fly around for an hour before flying back to Ban Phosay when the Thai soldier had arrived. They would immediately fly back when they got found and don't take the same route. The 1st Infantry Division would be aware of the Lao military presence in Ban Phai and start discussing if they should attack. They would continue to arrive at their destination, then prepare the artillery to fire in case of hostility. The 11th Infantry Division would continue from Phin to Xeno. It would take around 2 hours for the soldier with transportation to arrive, and the leg infantry would receive 36 M109A2 Howitzer to follow them (2 days IC travel time). They would encamp at their destination to prepare for capturing the province.

Salavan Campaign | Complete

The 2nd Cavalry Division would suffer about 430 death from the strike against Lao soldiers. They would gradually behave better during the attack. The Thai soldiers would not act against the civilians but try to help them in any case. They would try to reach out to the population and paramilitary that there would be a ceasefire soon. They try to cooperate with the locals and soldiers to stop the fight.

Attapeu Campaign | Complete

The Thai soldier would suffer another 278 death and some of the equipment. The Lao soldier would happily take a photo of destroyed Thai equipment with joy. The 2nd and 9th Infantry Division would approach the local news media to broadcast the upcoming ceasefire. They would ask politely for apologies for any damage they had done.

Vientiane Prefecture Campaign

The Thai soldiers struggled to fight throughout the city because they tried their best not to damage the city and avoid any civilian casualties. The Thai and Lao military would take a fight in CQC urban area, with both sides roaming around the entire city. They would have a consensus on not fighting in the religious area because both sides have a deep faith in the site.

Bolikhamsai Campaign | End

The campaign would end. The Third Cavalry Division would continue to Vieng Kham, taking an hour and 13 hours.

Luang Prabang Campaign

The Thai soldier would counteract the First Lao Army attack. They suffered around 700 casualties from the Lao bombardment into its city, making some buildings destroyed and fall to the ground. The Lao AAA would manage to shoot down a UAV from the reconnaissance battalion, failing the scouting mission. The Thai soldiers would struggle to capture the city, but the air force would win the sky. Thai Thai aircraft would immediately reconnaissance around the area to find the Lao artillery location that struck the soldiers. They would fly at 16,000 meters and 2,000 km/h and locate the Lao artillery location from the shell launching. They would report the place to the signal corps, and the Thai artillery would fire into the Lao equipment. The aircraft would fly back to the airbase at Mach 2 speed.

The Action
Kelly the Mad

The Royal Thai Armed Forces headquarters would order the soldier on the frontline to stop firing. The Thai government would notify the Lao government, military, and its leader to halt the fighting between the two sides. The Thai government would officially invite the General Secretary of LPRP to Thailand after both sides had adopted a ceasefire.

Champasak Campaign
As the Thai viciously and without regard shelled the province, reaching out far to try and kill every single paramilitary, they began to run out of ammunition. Since it had not been specified that a supply train would follow them, it could be assumed they did not have over 14 million artillery shells with them. As such, they would quickly run out of ammunition after bombarding only a small portion of the province, under 8 square kilometers assuming each cannon carried about 100 rounds of ammunition with it. After this bombardment, which would destroy the ecosystem completely in an area of 15 square kilometers and damage it severely up to 80 kilometers in any direction, had concluded about a tenth of the paramilitary force present would have been killed, considering they were attacking in groups of about 5-10. Whenever a group of about 10 would attack, the Thai would respond with dozens of artillery shells... resulting in about 10 Lao losses. As expected by these numbers, the Thai strategy of heavy-handed blind firing of massive weapons at the least provocation was highly ineffective. This left open many of the paramilitaries, who were miles away from the Thai advance, to shoot down the helicopters as previously mentioned. As well as this, the continued brute force artillery attacks would far worsen the fires, and soon they would spread and severely harm the road ahead of the Thai.

Salavan Campaign
The aircraft would have easily been able to spot the Thai well before they were able to see the Lao positions, miles out. The Lao artillery would be able to get the jump be a long shot, and so would the Lao infantry. Besides, the Lao forces were within the buildings of the town, invisible even just a few hundred feet outside of the town, certainly beyond sight of the Thai who would still be miles out handling minefields. By the time the Thai were in any shape to respond, taking into account that even Self Propelled artillery takes an amount of time to set up for firing and to load, as well as the time it would take for them to acknowledge they were being fired upon and to guess the enemies location, plus the time taken to target said location, the Lao infantry would have been out and about in the trees, wreaking havoc upon the enemy. The Lao Artillery positions would be evaporated by the massive bombardment, as well as the homes and lives of over 10,000 Lao innocents, including men, women, and children. As the earth rumbled, lives were extinguished, and thousands were left without fathers, mothers; sons and daughters.

Savannakhet Campaign
Despite the fact that the Thai had taken an alternate route, they had been marching less than 10 miles away from the actively searching and reinforcing Lao force, who would be able to audibly hear the gunfire and explosions of the Thai fighting off the occasional paramilitary attack. Upon determining the enemy was nearby, the infantry of the army would scatter into the woods, and the artillery would spread out over several miles of woodland, making them exceedingly difficult targets. The drones flying above head would be demolished quickly by radar-guided AZP S-60 AAA. Any detailed scouting of the infantry and artillery would be impossible with their eyes out of the sky. With the Lao forces thoroughly dispersed, there would be no repeat of the other prior battles where Thai forces had used superior firepower to obliterate their enemies without even laying eyes on them. No, this would take infantry action to complete...

Attapeu Campaign
As the Thai approached, the Lao broadcast station would turn its cameras out the windows of its buildings. The head anchor, a big name locally, would appear with an assault rifle in his hand, contrasting against his put-together suit. Screaming a battle cry, he would unleash a full magazine's worth of automatic fire toward the Thai soldiers approaching before ducking for cover. Considering his lack of training and intent to actually kill, it could be assumed that at worst one Thai soldier was slightly injured. The Lao national anthem would begin playing on loop from loudspeakers within the building, translating into the live broadcast as well. No Thai soldier would reach the broadcast as long as the operators of the station were alive, and if they were killed, the broadcast would be discredited and shut down.

Luang Prabang Campaign

At such an altitude and at such high speeds, the aircraft, which have no ground attack detection capabilities, would be wholly unable to identify the Lao forces. Unless the pilot's eyes were modern highly-advanced machines, nothing would be seen. The battle would continue as anticipated....

Whenever the Thai had ceased fire, the main armies of the Lao would do the same, however air defense and paramilitary activities would continue unphased. Preparations of trench lines, minefields, and traps would be emphasized.

BANGKOK

The General Secretary would step out of the privately chartered plane which they had previously cleared with the Thai airforce to permit to cross the border. Along with him would come four guards, sidearms concealed in their jackets. He would await someone to meet and greet him and bring him to the negotiations table.

The General Secretary would arrive at Don Mueang Airport on a private plane with the others. There is a red carpet from the terminal entrance toward the runways with a staircase. The army orchestra band march forward on the field to line up. Thai officials walk out of the terminal and stand aside from the carpet. A reporter team and cameraman rush out following the previous group to broadcast the arrival of the Laos General Secretary. About ten thousand people are waiting at the airport to experience the moment of peace, and a few million stay at home to watch it on the television. The Thai Prime Minister would wait at the entrance terminal where the carpet starts with his wife at his back. They can see members of the royal family, including the king and queen, are standing in the crowd with bodyguards. The Lao pilot would carefully land the plane, drive it to the staircase, and fit it with the gate. The place becomes silent when they successfully park the airplane. The people wait for the appearance of the Laos General Secretary to light up the entire airport. The Laos General Secretary would exit the plane, and the people would cheer up. The army orchestra band would play the Lao national anthem with their best effort. The 1st and 2nd Flying Training Squadron would appear in the sky and emit colored smoke with Thailand and Laos flag colors in the atmosphere. The Thai Prime Minister would walk toward the red carpet, approaching the Laos General Secretary with a smile and cheer. He greets him with the Thai greeting, which the Lao would do the same. He chats to him while they walk toward the crowd inside the terminal along the red carpet. There are hundreds of disguised security officers following them around the place. Thaksin would talk in fluent Laos. "It's my pleasure to meet you, mister Khamtai. Please accept my deepest apologies for what happened in Laos. I promise to help you rebuild your nation. My Foreign Minister has spoken with the Vietnamese president regarding our peace talk. I am happy to say that we are in an acceptable diplomatic term. I haven't asked you one thing yet. How is your flight here? Welcome to Thailand! Bangkok is currently building itself. It will be one of the most important capital in the world soon." He will keep chit-chat with the Lao leader while traveling to the government house. They would get inside the government car, and the Lao staff would receive the same treatment. They will have half an hour to travel to the Thai government house. "How is the view? We are making this city lush with green. I can confirm that it is hot here." He laughs. They would arrive at the destination. The black SUV would drive into the entrance and park in front of the building. Many reporters wait there to broadcast peace negotiations. "I warn you to be aware of those flashing lights from the camera. They can kill your eyes for a second. Trust me, I have experienced it." The security staff would walk to the vehicle and open the door professionally. The reporter team immediately flashed the light to take the picture and record them. The security staff starts to move the crowd away and open the way for them to walk inside. Thaksin would be friendly toward the Lao General Secretary and expected the General Secretary would do the same. It will raise stability if the media can show that they have settled on a solution before the peace negotiation. They would walk inside and see a European palace-style structure with a grand staircase that split itself to the right and left sides. There is a corridor upstairs where officials watch them with a positive attitude, but not all. Thaksin would lead him to the Ivory Room with a white paint and wooden door style. There are six white chairs with a small table separating them and a cameraman. Four Thai experts would greet the Lao General Secretary as the others do.

Thaksin would invite him to sit in the middle next to himself. Security officers are standing at the doorway to ensure order. Thaksin would start the session when everyone was ready. "I thank everyone for being here. I am with Laos General Secretary Khamtai Siphandone. I have heard that the news media broadcast us with no sound. We can discuss freely, but we will have our small session broadcast in one corner on the television screen. If anyone wants extra chairs, please tell me." He then turns into a professional attitude. "I won't waste more time. Mister Khamtai, I want to say that we are in the peace talk where all we need to do is sign a truce. My government has no reason to raise the responsibility by annexing your country. The Armed Forces might not say so. Can you confirm for me that you will sign a peace agreement? I have a better subject to talk about other than these war things. I am willing to perform the reparation for your country. We will withdraw our forces as soon as you agree to the peace agreement, and I will bring us the paper. There is one thing that Thailand and Vietnam want to ask you. Can you join the ASEAN Free Trade Area? We need a direct route between Thailand and Vietnam. I am convinced that it will help your economy since you are heavily reliant on China and former ASEAN." He would wait for the response.

The Australian Ambassador to Thailand, William Fisher, would arrive by private car to the government house. He would take a seat on the sidelines of the Ivory Room, merely observing. He would be sitting amongst the press and advisors to the Laos and Thai officials. He would remain silent while in there, only talking when asked to talk. He would take out a notepad and pen and would begin to write down what was happening in the negotiations.

Chengdu J-10 CN2089 of the Makeshift 1st Squadron would depart from Beijing and ascend to 26,000 Feet

While the Chinese Armed Forces were not yet structured due to the Modernization project occurring to make the Chinese Armed forces a much more powerful force, there would still be aircraft on hand along with pilots to fly them. In order to have some sort of protection in case of a spillover, 10 Chengdu J-10 multirole combat aircraft (from FT) will be moved to Kunming Airport along with 20 Pilots. The mission of this was simply to have some sort of force on standby in case Chinese Territorial Sovereignty was threatened by the conflict in Laos, they would not be part of an offensive force in any way. These Aircraft will be structured at some point and when this happens they will report to their structured bases and redeploy if needed.

The Aircraft would depart from Beijing fully fueled and loaded to Wuhan where they would refuel before making their way to Kunming (ON>OL). They would take a straight path and avoid civilian air traffic at 26,000 feet with their transponders on to inform other aircraft of their presence. Once landed the pilots would be debriefed and sent to Quarters made in a civilian aircraft hanger. Their aircraft would be loaded with four PL-8 Missiles and two PL-12 Missiles and sent to the side of the tarmac where they could be scrambled within 15 minutes. At least ten pilots would at all times be ready for deployment if called up though it was know to most that it was unlikely that any aircraft would be deployed so the real time it could take to scramble the Aircraft was likely around 20 minutes due to the relaxed atmosphere and lack of air crew on standby to fuel the aircraft.

All of this would be relatively secret but any civilian or satellite could easily see the Chengdu aircraft parked near the runway.

As the Lao pilot approached the red-carpeted staircase, the General Secretary would head up to the cabin and direct him to continue past it, causing a deal of confusion for the Thai. Instead, the plane would come to a halt a few hundred feet from the carpet, and the General Secretary and his guards, all wearing frowns and black suits, would step out into a puddle of water on the tarmac. They would look up at the planes streaking above head, before the general secretary looked dead at a camera, turned, and spit on the ground. He would walk towards the end of the terminal, where a limo he had privately paid for ahead of time would be waiting. He would order the driver to follow the Thai delegation. He would say not a word to the Thai, the cameras, or to anyone but hushed orders to his four guards. Other than the five, there were no Lao among the crowds at the airport. The Lao general secretary would avoid making eye contact with the Thai prime minister, looking him up and down with an air of disgust.

As the men stepped out of their own vehicle, forcing their way through the crowd before the Thai security could get involved, they would hold their heads high and storm into the palace without regard for any guards. They would track mud onto the floor, ignore greetings or warnings, and make their way to the negotiations room, where they would walk to the back wall behind the table, in the frame of the camera, and stand there, looking out at the observers and at the Thai sitting at the little table. He knew what he was doing. He would not be seen as the equal of a genocidal maniac. He was above this man. He would clear his throat, and in a booming voice he had yet to use thus far, he spoke.

"I will request that the audio of this meeting is broadcasted. In fact, I demand it if we are to go any further than this."

The General Secretary would see the Australian ambassador walk in, and would make direct eye contact as he awaited a response from the Thai.

The Lao General Secretary would dismay people inside the room and the guard outside of the room after hearing his request. They have not prepared to broadcast the negotiation session as a program on television. It would cost them some damage to the intention of each show. Thaksin would call one of the security guards outside the room and continue to speak in Thai, which the Lao would moderately understand. "Mong, can you call Gam to find some arrangement for the peace negotiation program. I guess she should be around this floor." The guard would nod and leave the room to complete the order. Thaksin would turn to the General Secretary. "Mister Khamtai, I am sorry for the inconvenience. I didn't prepare that you would request this thing because I would rather not disturb our television media. We are in the afternoon, and the most attractive program happens between this time." He talks to Khamtai for about three minutes even though he might not get an answerback. A woman and three crew would enter the room to prepare the broadcasting. She announces. "Okay, we will soon broadcast with sound on the แhannel 5. I suggest everyone behave well because we might not want someone to dislike you. Mister Thaksin, you need to make more people be able to afford modern tv. I would say it is the best thing in my life." The crews give her a signal. "Okay, we are ready. In three, two, one, and go!" The context would show on each television to notify the political lover to switch the channel to continue watching. About a million people are watching at the moment. Thaksin would return to his posture and talk to the General Secretary. "I have done your request. Can we continue the peace talk? I believe many people are watching this right now. What do you think about my request?"

once the cameras were rolling, the General Secretary would straighten his tie and clear his throat before speaking very loudly and clearly, much louder than the others in the room. He would address the Prime Minister first.

"Now we may talk. Your reluctance to disrupt typical television is highly concerning, considering that tens of thousands are dead and this may finally bring an end to it. I find that this would be very important in both of our countries, not shoved to the wayside to make way for a weather program or something of the sort." Now, he would turn and address the whole room.

"Over the last few weeks, Thailand has waged a horrendously deadly and damaging path of terror throughout Laos. With no warning, based on a pitiful excuse of a casus belli, tens of thousands of Thai soldiers crossed into Laos, gunning down border guards when they came by them. When paramilitary forces put up light resistance, the Thai soldiers unleashed massive quantities of artillery shells, incendiary grenades, and explosives into the forests by the roadside. Currently, an estimated 8% of the forests across Laos are expected to be burning or burned. Thousands if not tens of thousands of civilians are dead from a combination of actions by the Thai invaders and the fires that they started. Urban centers have been bombarded blindly with no regard for civilians or their homes and property. The province of Champasak is currently the most devastated, an estimated 15 square kilometers have been totally reduced to craters, and flames have butchered the landscape for over a hundred kilometers in any direction, leaving practically the entire province in ruins.

"And here, you invite me, make some niceties, and propose that we simply sign a peace treaty and then join you in a trade agreement. Who do you think we are? You come into our country, cause the greatest death seen in our entire region for decades, based on the corruption of a handful of low-level police officers, and then suggest we forget it all happened and go back to how we once were. Well, I will tell you something, Mr. Prime Minister: the second that the 'friendship bridge' fell under the weight of artillery protecting our nation, our nations became enemies. The chasm over the river is a symbol. Of our fallout. Of your betrayal.

"So, in summary, no. I came here not for peace. I came here not for a trade agreement. I came here to honor my country."

He stepped back against the wall, and one of his security guards would pick up a briefcase, walking it over and handing it to the Thai Prime Minister. He would unlock the case before handing it over. Walking back to the wall, the guard would join his leader, who then spoke up.

"These are our conditions."

When the prime minister would open the briefcase, expecting papers depicting the goals of the Laos nation in this conference, he would be unable to understand what was in front of him. That was in part because the forward part of his skull was exposed, his chest was horrifically gored, and metal pellets were dug into every inch of flesh on his body. The thunderous boom of an explosion shocked the room, and metal pellets whirred through the air, tearing at the finely decorated wall, slamming into Thai advisors and wounding dozens of them. The camera operator would be struck down, but the camera itself would remain up and static, showing a wide view of the chaotic room. The floorboards where the Prime Minister had once stood were turned up and blackened, and thick dust filled the air. One of the Lao security guards would be sitting down on the floor, using his jacket to try and nurse a wound in his shin. The remaining three guards and the General Secretary would stand, amidst a scarred wall, unphased. The briefcase had been reinforced so that the pellets would be flung only in the direction the briefcase was opened, however with such an explosive device in place it was inevitable that the shield would fail and a number of pellets would get through. A hole stood in the wall where the briefcase had shot through it at high speeds. The Lao guards held out their firearms, prepared for anything.

The Action

The prime minister's advisers got triggered. It irritated them, and they exchanged glances. They appeared frightened in front of the camera, but at least they were professional. Thaksin would keep the company and answer what the Lao General Secretary spoke out of his mouth, not knowing that this event would be one of his enemy's assassination attempts against him. "They would mind me if I have to cut out some of their program schedules. We learned from the last coup." He lets out a chuckle to relieve the tension. He got bothered once more by the Lao General Secretary, but he could control all of them. He needs to find an argument to show that he isn't a terrible person. Although he isn't that good person either, it is what he has learned about his life in Thailand, corruption. He has to talk back in a calm and annoying voice ."Soldiers value their lives as well. That was their means of survival. It was the same thing used to your side to produce terrible action, and it was not rational for you either. I know that your military fires artillery into your city, Luang Prabang, a huge civilian area. You killed almost ten thousand civilians there, and we all have eyewitnesses, our soldiers. We have never fired a shot at your city, but instead, our military has assisted civilians. Please stop referring to me as an eco-terrorist. I apologized, which was never my intention. Our firefighters are sure to be worthwhile in extinguishing the conflagration."

He answered slowly, like a person who annoys the others. He somehow can remain the calm voice. "And what are your current means of achieving peace? We invite you to the table because we recognize you as a human being. We were cruel a few weeks ago, but might we resolve it diplomatically? I have promised to reconstruct your country, which we have done numerous times. You destroyed the bridge to protect your country, but I believe the Australian ambassador would appreciate it. We attempted to call your Foreign Minister, but you did not answer. You know how insane your and my people have been in the past and now." Like ignorant people who love to get into trouble, the people at home enjoy the spectacle of their stupidity altercation. They are now receiving greater attention from the security guard. There are roughly ten guards in the room and another fouthy outside the government building. Some are armed guards from the NIA agency who can take out any force. They're all equipped with cutting-edge technology. The Lao General Secretary made anyone watching or at the sense get the weird feeling of something ominous. Thaksin made a curious action when the Lao finished the speech. "Hey, what do you mean. Where are you going?" His heart began to race, and he became uneasy.

The other people would feel the same and stand up to the Lao General Secretary. The environment outside the room gets dizzy because of the chattering of hundreds of people waiting outside. The guard standing near the room walked closer and paid close attention. they talked to each other in a fast deep voice. "What's that case? Does it get past the inspection?" | The other ones reply. "They explained that it is only a condition. We can't take the risk of checking into it." | The first one quickly answers when the Lao General Secretary finishes his statement. "This situation will not end well, and everyone in the room senses it. We can't take any chances like we did last time." They run inside the room, a knife in their pocket and an FN Five-seven pistol in their hands. They approach the prime minister and demand to stop the action. The other eight guards got alerted, and they immediately rushed into the room. Thaksin is about to touch it with his hand. "Mr. Prime Minister, please come to a halt. This briefcase has not yet passed inspection." The entire room, or perhaps the government house, and most likely viewers, seemed tense, with stress filling every vacuum. Inside, people look at each other nervously, and the cameraman is considering a raise. Prime Minister Thaksin halts his hand above the briefcase and gives the Loas General Secretary a threatening look while handing an item to the guard. "Is that Khamtai?"Everyone falls silent and stares at the two of them. After that, he chuckles. "Don't be such a jerk to our guest. Put your gun down. They do not want the war to continue." The guard places their pistol in their pocket while still holding it, and two of them walk out of the room with the briefcase.

THE
TREATY OF PEACE

BETWEEN
THE REPUBLIC OF THAILAND

AND
THE LAO PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
The protocol to terminate hostilities and military occupation of the territorial of Laos

Whereas both sides have an agreement to remain status quo before the war between both parties, it is expedient to declare the end of hostilities and military occupation.

Whereas the Thai government and its military have seen the destruction from their aggression toward the other territorial and territorial integrity, sovereignty, and non-interference, it is expedient to proclaim the Thai government to reparation for the catastrophe and damage to Laos.

Whereas the Lao law enforcement agencies, under the control of the Lao government jurisdiction, had abused the human right of the Thai citizen by serious physical assault, it is expedient to declare the Lao government has an official responsibility and reorganize its agencies.

Thailand and Laos had made the reckless aggression and harsh treatment toward one other civilian and the country. The peace agreement signed by both sides is a requirement to ensure the stability of Thailand, Laos, the Region, and the World.

SIGNED

Thaksin Shinawatra
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Thailand

Khamtai Siphandone
The General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party

Thaksin makes eye contact with the Laos delegate. They got surrounded by eight armed guards as they stood near the wall. He speaks to him firmly and assertively. "Khamtai, Mister. I hope you don't intend to do anything destructive here. Take a look in front of you, behind me. The cameraman is recording this event. I am hopeful that we will be able to continue this negotiation calmly. I may be overreacting, but I recently received an assassination attempt. Behind you is a locked door, not a wall. I strongly advise you not to do anything nefarious. Please allow me to present you with this material. The treaty or accord of peace." Thaksin gives it to the guard and passes it to the General Secretary of Laos. They'd have half a minute to read it before an undesired noise erupted outside the government building. The two guards opened the briefcase. It caused the explosion to detonate. They are no longer alive, and their bodies got annihilated. Everyone in the government building huddles down and seeks refuge. Before tens of armed guards enter the room to assist the eight security guards in capturing the Laos delegate and the Secretary-General, Thaksin sighs. He sits down in his seat while the Lao people get locked in a handcuff. Thaksin talks to the Secretary-General. "What about this? You sign the document, and we are even. I don't want to continue this war with you anymore. I am disappointed."

"If I may.."

The Ambassador would speak.

"We understand the damage that has occurred to Laos. My government is willing to pour billions into Laos over the forward estimates in much needed aid. We will rebuild the friendship bridge, which Australia built in the first place. If this war continues I'm afraid the costs of damage will run into the 100s of billions. Australian firefighters are on their way to Laos at the moment. They, however, cannot do what they need to do to put out the fires if it continues to be a warzone. We are prepared to sign free trade agreements with both Laos and Thailand."

When the guards stole away with the briefcase, the General Secretary was furious.

"You invite us here for peace talks, and when we arrive here, you disrespect our diplomatic privilege and steal our documents for a search? What do you think we are now, maniacs? We are not your subordinates, we are not your prisoners, we should be on equal footing!"

As he said this, the explosion went off in another part of the building, and one of the security guards ran forward, drawing his pistol and attempting to shoot the Thai prime minister. Within a split second, the other Lao security guards revealed their own firearms and pumped more than twenty rounds into the man who broke their line. The General Secretary would duck for cover behind the table, as bullets flew with a fury throughout the room. By the time the dust had settled, the attacking guard was on the floor, his body riddled with hundreds of bullets from the several Thai guards and the other Lao guards. The Prime minister was likely to have taken maybe one hit, if anything, and non-fatal at that. Two of the other Lao guards would have been shot dead or wounded by the Thai, them mistaking the single act of terrorism as a full-blown attack by the whole delegation. The last security guard, mostly shielded by the table, would be mostly untouched. The whole group of Thai and Lao people would look around in shock.

Secretly, the General Secretary sighed to himself. He was not hoping to have to enact his backup plan. Of course, he had not told the sacrificed man he would be attacking alone. He had been told they were to attack together in an act of defiance if the original plan had to be aborted. Of course, the others were told differently... But regardless of the trust broken, the man was dead, and he had provided a reasonable excuse for the explosives. A single ultra-nationalistic guard had managed to swap out the briefcase for an explosive and was planning to assassinate the Thai prime minister. Luckily, Lao security forces prevented it.

The Action

Thaksin Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, would take three direct hits to his arm and shoulder combined. The security guards stationed around the Lao delegate would team up to take out the hostiles by firing at their legs, dismantling their movement. They had no choice but to attack because the Lao security officer was the first to shoot at the Thai prime minister. They had no intention of attacking them, but they needed to use their training skills to fight the Lao. They decided not to fire on the Lao General Secretary because they considered it was more important to keep him alive and find a peaceful solution to the war. There would be 15 Thai armed guards left in the room when both two Lao died. They began to approach the last guard, who was cowering behind the table as if they hadn't realized they had already lost. They surged forward, dismantled the table, and handcuffed the final guard. They would react against any hostile attack by stopping it with their numbers. The cameraman keeps rotating the camera around to let the viewer understand the situation, while the fear has filled his head, and he doesn't even know what to do. The viewer at home, both Thai and Laos, are frightened by the fighting with gunfire in the government house where the peace negotiation should be tranquil. The ambulances from the nearest hospital drive out to the government house to treat the wounded people, and the police are also there.

At the moment, Thaksin is in a cover behind a sofa in the same room. He has three advisors, two guards, and a nurse with him. He asks his advisor and the guard. "What should we do right now?" He sounds tired and discomfort, mainly because of shots in his arm and shoulder. A guard answers him. "This engagement has resulted in three casualties, Mr. Prime Minister. We must bring them to the attention of law enforcement. They are no different than terrorists." A military advisor interrupts. "This is an ideal situation for unconditional surrender. I can discuss this with the Lao General Secretary. We can manage the Chinese forces easily with the new defense line from the Laos territory. They will not employ a gentle approach against us." The Foreign Affairs advisor gets offended and argues. "I understand that we are in an advantageous situation, but do not forget that we need to control our influence appropriately. The eyes start to pay attention to us. We are escalating the world tension on this sensitive planet. My ministry has never approved of this conflict and will never be. If we follow what the military wants to, they will do it our way." The domestic affairs advisor seems to agree with the statement. "Mister Prime Minister, I believe you know how the long-term war will suffer our economy. We have to launch the infrastructure project next week, we can postpone it, and you can't end it on time." | Thaksin looks around again and tries to find the General Secretary. He can walk around, but his left arm and shoulder don't. He asks the nurse to help him stand up and walk to his special guest, Khamtai. "Mister, Fisher, you can come to join us if you wish."

The Lao General Secretary got handcuffed and stood at the same place with a few armed guards, waiting for the police. The camera pans at him and broadcasts the uneasy situation for both sides. The viewer should see the Thai Prime Minister, The Lao General Secretary, and the Australian ambassador. Thaksin starts the conversation. "You two are lucky that didn't get shot. The nurse had stopped the breeding, so you don't need to worry. I heard that the news media had reported this situation. We can't keep it private, and the cameraman is still alive. I believe my government has settled the position. It's all about your opinion now, mister Khamtai." The police, ambulance, and news media arrived at the scene, and they waited for the leaders to talk.
