To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan,

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Thailand extends its warmest regards to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. It is an honor to formally communicate Thailand’s request for intelligence pertaining to the organized Islamic terrorist group known as Al-Qaeda.

In reference to the recent official statement issued by the Thai Government, titled “Thailand Declares Solidarity War on Al-Qaeda,” we express our unequivocal condemnation of the heinous acts of terrorism perpetrated by this extremist organization. The severity of these attacks and their flagrant disregard for human dignity have galvanized the Thai people, who have democratically affirmed their commitment to eradicating Al-Qaeda and dismantling all mechanisms supporting its operations.

At present, the Republic Armed Forces of Thailand, known as the Red Service, are preparing to undertake a global campaign to neutralize Al-Qaeda and its affiliates. This initiative will target all levels of the organization, ensuring the complete dismantling of its network. Having once endured the devastating impact of terrorist bombings in Bangkok, which claimed many innocent lives, Thailand stands morally obligated to prevent such atrocities from recurring—whether within our borders or abroad. While Thailand has thus far maintained its security against further attacks, the recent suicide bombing in London serves as a stark reminder of the ever-present threat posed by extremist violence.

In light of these circumstances, the Socialist Republic of Thailand respectfully requests any intelligence or information regarding Al-Qaeda that the Government of Afghanistan may possess. To facilitate this cooperation, Thailand stands ready to offer substantial economic and technological benefits, ensuring that this partnership yields tangible advantages for the Afghan people.

We eagerly await your favorable and swift response and remain committed to fostering a collaborative relationship for the betterment of international peace and security.

Sincerely,

Sukhumbhand Paribatra
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
Republic of Thailand

To: Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bossza007
From: Yusuf Agha, Minister of Foreign Affairs
CC: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan
Subject: Request of Intelligence on Al-Qaeda

Dear Deputy Minister Paribatra,

I would like to convey my sincere greetings on behalf of the people of the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan. It is an honour to extend our best wishes to you.

As you may know, Afghanistan has a complicated history with extremist groups. Earlier this year, our nation was under Taliban control, which led to significant upheaval. This situation resulted in the establishment of a government that aligns with Afghanistan's core values of global peace, security, and freedom. During this period, the Taliban retreated and then faded into obscurity, creating gaps in our intelligence. While these challenges are considerable, they have not weakened our commitment to contributing to international efforts to combat terrorism.

We acknowledge your request for information regarding Al-Qaeda and its operations. Although our current resources are limited, we will begin discussions with relevant authorities and stakeholders in Afghanistan to identify any actionable information we can provide. Please rest assured that we take your request seriously and will do our best to assist you.

Sincerely,

Yusuf Agha,
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

Subject: Follow-up on Thailand’s Request of Intelligence on Al-Qaeda
Security Type: NSST 1.0 Architecture | Secret and Encrypted

To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan,

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Thailand extends its warmest regards to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. It is our intention to formally revisit Thailand’s request for intelligence pertaining to the organized Islamic terrorist group known as Al-Qaeda.

More than two weeks have now passed since the Government of Afghanistan reassured us of its commitment to investigating and gathering information on Al-Qaeda activities for Thailand. We continue to await the arrival of such information with anticipation. While we recognize that Afghanistan's knowledge of Al-Qaeda’s operations may be limited, even though this organization is reportedly based within your borders, we reaffirm our resolute intent to work toward the eradication of this pernicious force.

It is true that none of the 104 martyrs in the recent heinous attack were of Thai nationality or ethnicity. However, this cowardly assault targeted the working class of the United Kingdom—a class that stands as the backbone of our global society. Thailand’s position remains unwavering: any attack on or disrespect toward the proletariat—those who build and sustain our world—will be met with the full resolve of the Red Service and the Republic Armed Forces.

To that end, we wish to clarify that this message is in no way intended to challenge Afghanistan's sovereignty or suggest any intention to violate it. However, should Afghanistan extend its permission or issue an invitation, the Republic of Thailand is prepared to deploy up to 10,000 personnel from the Republic Air Force to aid in delivering justice for the international proletariat and ensuring peace and security.

We remain eager to receive the intelligence you pledged to provide regarding Al-Qaeda. Please rest assured that Thailand holds Afghanistan and its free people in the highest regard.

Sincerely,

Sukhumbhand Paribatra
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
Republic of Thailand
