"Deputy Pongpol Adireksarn, would you mind examining this intelligence, please?" A woman, her obsidian suit adorned with the NIA emblem, approached him with a posture that exuded poise, leaving no room for vulnerability.

"What's this?" Adjusting his glasses with one hand, he inquired, his tone tinged with a cautious curiosity. "It pertains to the recent New Year Incident in Japan, sir." She extended a bundle of documents toward him; its black cover emblazoned with the red, bold letters "TOP SECRET" seemed to resonate with a sense of urgency. Pongpol accepted the documents, his gaze sharpening as he did.

"According to our Japanese division, it appears Japan is in dire need of our government's assistance. Despite their Prime Minister's posture of self-reliance, ongoing reports indicate they are far from capable of managing their domestic issues independently," she briefed, her voice steady as he leafed through the pages, his fingers dancing lightly over the paper.

"This raises concerns about regional stability. I wonder what Thaksin's stance is on this matter," he mused, his eyes scanning the subtext woven between the lines. "The Prime Minister? He's currently coordinating with the Navy to deploy another Humanitarian Aid Force," she responded promptly, her keen awareness of the geopolitical landscape evident.

"That's reassuring. The specter of terrorism has been looming larger of late. This will undoubtedly be another point of discussion with Korea, particularly given their population's involvement," he remarked. Then, his gaze shifted toward the window, his eyes settling on the distant island where Taipei lay.

Upon entering Korean airspace the Thai plane would be given instructions to land at Incheon Airport, as they were guided to land at a designated airstrip and from there gate inside the airport an honour guard had been assembled inside the airport with on the other end the President Kim Dae-jung ready to receive the Thai Deputy Prime Minister.

“We have arrived, have we? There seems the Korean honor guard and their president. Can you please tell me the current situation?” His eyes shifted from the window's view, locking onto the gaze of his assistant, Panya.

A woman materialized before him, her fingers delicately navigating through the parchment she held. “Recently, both Korean and Japanese Prime Minister have signed an agreement on friendship and mutual defense between their nation. The analyst highlights the agreed ownership of Takeshima should be held by Japan, thus ending the long-standing dispute.” she articulated, her hand poised to flip to the next page.

“Please sit and fasten your seatbelt. The plane’s landing soon.” His words were imbued with an authentic veneer of trust as he paused, then resumed. “Korea is losing a game here with Japan assertiveness. They have revealed their cards too quickly and now they must face the consequence of their subordinate role under the Japanese again. What do you think about this, Panya?” His eyes sought hers.

“Based on the document, it is vague whether they are obligated to defend one another, but the overall assessment is that this agreement is overwhelmingly favorable to Japan, even though each country has the same status. A total loses for Korea to assert its sovereignty.” She signed.

“Alright, then, I expect this meeting to be a productive one. Japan democratic process is in a risky situation since their president took the office. She is too young to understand what it means to respect the voice of her people. Keeps everyone informed and prepared.” Informing her, he readied himself for an unexpected sojourn on Korean terrain—a mission imbued with the weighty responsibility of amplifying the voice of a nation known as the Republic of Korea, ensuring its resonance not just among its Asian neighbors, but echoing across the global stage.

After meticulous preparations for the grand entrance of the Thai Deputy Prime Minister and his delegation, the airstair door finally swung open. Emerging into the gaze of the Korean populace, Deputy Pongpol, flanked by representatives from his homeland and NIA security personnel, descended the staircase. With a traditional Thai Wai, he greeted the awaiting Kim Dae-jung, President of the Republic of Korea.

Initiating the dialogue, he offered another Wai, subtly encouraging the other side to reciprocate, before extending a firm handshake. “Mister President Kim Dae-jung,” he began, his Korean impeccably fluent, his posture a blend of assertiveness and unyielding confidence. “What a pleasure to be meeting with you today, isn’t it.” H A warm smile graced his lips, accompanied by a soft, hospitable chuckle.

"I've heard you've recently inked a treaty with the Japanese Prime Minister. I trust our own relations can prove even more fruitful; wouldn't you agree?" His tone, both energetic and discerning, was accentuated by the stoic yet visibly pleased demeanor of his NIA security and delegates, their collective aura radiating assertiveness.

As they ambled along the route designated by the Koreans, Deputy Pongpol continued his dialogue with President Kim. "Thailand has much to contribute in these modern times, and we harbor high, optimistic hopes that our nations share aligned objectives, particularly under the banner of democratic principles."
