Subject: Meeting at the Joint Operations Center in Odessa.
Good Morning Admiral,
I am writing to you this morning in hopes of setting up a meeting at the newly appointed Joint Operations center in Odessa. I have been informed by Arseniy Yatsenyuk, our Minister of Foreign Affairs, of the meeting that took place in Ankara regarding our two nations working closely together in hopes of restructuring the Ukrainian navy and future joint operations in the black sea. We are ready to meet with you at your earliest convenience. The agenda for the meeting should be roughly as follows.
- Discussion of the Ukrainian Navel Budget
- Recommended fleet composition.
- Joint Fleet Operations
- Fleet Supply and Maintenance
- Emergency scenarios.
We are thrilled to be working closely with the Turkish Navy. You have a long and proud history that we are well aware of. The tradition of Turkish naval excellence especially in regards to the Black Sea is something we are hoping to learn from. We are striving to be a trusted and reliable partner in these joint naval operations that will help to keep our region safe for years to come. With Russia building its navy back to Soviet levels, this leaves much uncertainty in the Black sea. I hope this meeting will help clarify it.
Regards,
Vice Admiral Ihor Tenyukh
Commander of the Ukrainian Navy
Republic of Ukraine
