WashingtonPost The Pentagon has confirmed reports that an American Navy carrier strike group is operating somewhere near the Indian Ocean. A Pentagon spokesman said that the Thai Coast Guard has repeatedly used emergency channels to broadcast the position of the fleet and individual ships. "If the Thai Coast Guard continues to publish the location of Untied States Navy warships in international waters, it will be taken as a hostile action and we will respond accordingly."
