Subject: Treaty of Washington, Exercise 2001
Good Morning,
I hope you are well.
In line with the Treaty of Washington, I would like to extend an invitation to the United States Air Force to participate in Exercise Red Flag in October 2001.
Exercise Red Flag is a month-long aerial combat training exercise that will allow aircraft from the Royal Air Force and the United States Air Force to work together against a common enemy, an enemy that will be simulated by our Hawk Trainer aircraft.
This will include combined efforts of:
Therefore, if accepted, you would be requested to provide an assortment of aircraft to cover the aforementioned mission profiles.
If this is something you accept and would like to participate in, please let me know as soon as possible with the assets that are planned to participate.

- AWACS
- Search and Rescue
