Having read through the agreement, a British Government-templated agreement was offered in return. Mirroring much of what was on the agreements proposed by the US President. "Having reviewed both, there were some areas which whilst we don't doubt your values, is open to creating problems in the future as it would legalise how much support the United Kingdom would need to give yourselves, vice versa. However, this didn't differentiate something that one of us may not agree with. For example, if we had started firing squads on civilians, the treaty suggested would mean we would still have to stand by your government. Of course, that was just an example. I've combined them both together for the British Parliament, and I understand you have your own so I am happy to sign two agreements for your government, whereas we would just have the one to sign.
If you are happy with the content of the Treaty of Washington I have just provided, you will be able to update yours and I can sign them now; or, if you require any amendments, please let me know.
I would be eager to hear your thoughts."
