Greetings,

I would like to work with you to establish a trade agreement between Vietnam and Japan as well as the creation of a non aggression pact between our two nations. I believe that there is much to be gained from cooperation between our two nations. It is so important to us that I would like to schedule a meeting to discuss these matters. It would take place on the 28th and be in Hanoi the day of the military parade. If this date does not work for you please let me know and if you would prefer a phone call that can suffice. What ever you choose feel free to contact me at any time. I have also reason t suspect people will be coming to Asia due to the winter conditions in Europe, so if Japan has issues with refugees or anything like that please let us know. We are currently preparing for such a possibility at this time.

Best wishes

From:
Phạm Bình Minh, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Following message has been Encrypted.

Dear Phạm Bình Minh, Minister of Foreign Affairs,

We accept your invitation and will attend on Hanoi the day of the military parade.

Japan has been strict on immigration in the past years. But I am hoping to change that. I am aware of the current event that is hapening in Europe. We are currently working on a plan that will benefit everyone.

Kind regards
Shinzo Abe
Prime Minister of Japan

"Permission granted." the tower would reply, the landing strip was clear of traffic. All they needed to do was land the aircraft and taxi it over to parking. Meanwhile a limousine was brought out fueled up to transport the Prime Minister of Japan. To guard the limousine a truck manned by 12 PAVN Motorized Infantry would be fueled up with the soldiered prepared to line up next to the stairway in greeting. Ground crew was put on standby to service the parked aircraft once it had parked. They awaited patiently for the Prime Minister to land safely in their aircraft.

"I am doing well, how was your flight?" Phạm Bình Minh would ask greeting the Japanese Prime Minister as he stepped foot on the ground."This is our ride, we can talk further along the way and once we reach my office. Also, hope you don't mind the humidity, my office is rather... cool." he would say as he would turn to lead them into the vehicle brought for them."Oh, and there has been a change. Due to the conflict at the border with Thailand the military parade has been cancelled."

"That's nice to hear. The flight was great." Mr. Phạm Bình Minh and Shinzo Abe would both enter the car that would drive them to Mr. Phạm Bình Minh office. The prime minister would smile and take off his jacket. "Ah, that's a shame to hear. I was looking forward to the military parade. But with the current situation at the border with Thailand it is understandable." After hearing about the current situation Shinzo Abe would ask a question to Mr. Phạm Bình Minh " About the current situation at the border. Is it something we should be worried about furthur escalation?

"I don't believe so, from what I have heard the Thai seemed to have been caught in the middle of staging a brief border grab. I doubt they will want this to last very long, though we have not heard anything from there side via official channels. The Socialist Republic of Vietnam will maintain a stiff defense and will attempt to not escalate it. We are hopeful that it can brought to an end soon." he reassured as they would then enter the limousine and buckle up awaiting the Prime Minister to join them.

"Let's hope the current situation at the border will be resolved fast without any major accidents." Shinzo Abe would enter the limousine and buckle up. " I know this is a late request but is there still time to visit the Vietnam war Memorial in Hanoi before we go to your office? I would like to show some respect to the soldiers and civilians that lost their lives during the war. It is something we should never forget. It's a symbol to show people what war did do to vietnam but also around the world.

"Hmm, yes of course." he said after a moment of consideration."It is important not to forget, as it points us towards our future." he said with a slight nod before instructing the driver to take them."After that would you like to stop at Comrade Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum?" he asked.

Yes of course. Hồ Chí Minh led the Việt Minh independence, established the Communist-ruled Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945 and defeated the French Union in 1954 at the battle of Điện Biên Phủ. he was Ho Chi Minh. He was a great leader who wholeheartedly devoted himself to the country and the happiness of the people

They would drive a bit further through Hanoi, life went on in the city. Hanoi was a bustling city for certain, not many cars surprisingly as the limousine navigated the streets of mopeds, tuk tuks, bicycles, and pedestrians. The Front passenger seat the Japanese Prime Minister would notice someone perhaps, they wore a distinctive spot camouflage uniform with plane green PASGT style helmet. On their lap if they could see it was a G11-K2 rifle. This was a Dac Cong Commando, and this made it very clear that security was being taken very seriously."Indeed, and his legacy is what brought us out of our dark period led by that struggle group of hard-line Trotsky style communists. Our path is unique, and we must never forget those that helped us reach this point. Both during our struggle against outer invaders like China, France, and America. As well as inner ones who have betrayed us such as the southern dictator and the military junta." he said though he strategically left out one that took place during Ho Chi Minh's time. The Limousine would eventually arrive outside the memorial and park."Here we are." he said simply as they would unbuckle and exit the vehicle."I had made sure to CC the President during our messages back and forth. I am sure he would of loved to visit with us. I believe he is a veteran of this war you know?" he said as he stared out at the quiet memorial.

It's so beautiful and peaceful here.
The resting place of Ho Chi Minh and where Ho read the Declaration of Independence on 2 September 1945.
We all made mistakes. But we learned from those mistakes. The mistakes we made gave us guidance to what to do or not to do.
The president is a veteran? That I actually didn't know he is a veteran.

"Of course, and not to worry. He works in the same building as me. The Presidential palace is currently undergoing repairs. Also, thank you for coming to this place. The past presented here is worth remembering."

It's a place I had to visit so I want to thank you for visiting this place with me. It would be an honor to meet him but I think it's better to visit him after our talks if that is good for you?
