Medal for Combatants at the Front to awarded to returning heroes

As the war against Britain draws to a close, the high command of the Defense Forces in cooperation with Dàil Èireann and the heads of state and government has announced its intentions to issue a medallion for those fighters at the front who have in their own capacity displayed courage and valour in the face of the enemy.

This order is to be known as The Cross of The Republic and shall have a ribbon of Green and Orange with a White stripe in the middle whereas the medallion is to be rendered in Gold bearing two swords and the harp with the words in Gaelige: Saighdiúir na hÉireann.

Ribbons:

Front-Fighters (Four black bars)
Widows of Front-Fighters (Two blue bars)
Parents/Guardians of Front-Fighters (One purple bar)

Applicants must provide evidence of their service at the front (widows and parental authorities must provide evidence of their front fighter's enlistment, the branch they served, and the date of their death at the front)

Once applicants have sent the necessary proof of service, a medal and certificate (signed by the defense minister, president, and prime minister) in the mail or in person.

Applicants must be either inhabitants of the Island of Ireland or Irish Nationals

No Peace With Britain

Dàil Èireann in a special secession of parliament regarding the existing state of war with The United Kingdom has decided in a vote of 50-33 to continue the war of liberation in order to restore Irish Sovereignty over the occupied six counties. the war shall be extended until mid November of this year.

The United States of America has now formally requested that both the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland hold an official cease fire and a proper sit down to negotiate peace.

The Government of The Republic of Ireland shall refuse all such attempts to negotiate a peace with The United Kingdom and shall contunue to fight on until Northern Ireland is under a flag of Green, White, and Orange. The Republic of Ireland would request that America stay out of this dispute.

First Plots of Unoccupied land given to the landless and impoverished.

This morning, the first plots of land previously unoccupied and unused were allocated to those lacking an acre to their name and a punt in their pocket in the Counties of Clare and Donegal. Those individuals fortunate enough to be given the land shall also receive two years worth of Punts to fix up the allocated plot and supplies to cultivate the land. Many in the Revolutionary Provisional Government of The Republic have applauded this action taken on behalf of the common man.
