With the Nationalists squaring off against the border with America, Singaporean advisers are pulled back from the front-lines and provided new orders. All units out in the field were ordered to assist in maintaining peace in Vancouver, and to prevent Nationalists -- or anyone for that matter -- from violatiing the rights of civilians, refugees and other non-combatants in the city. They were under strict rules of engagement in regards to firing their weapons, unless it were in the defense of civilians.

After some time, the fleet would arrive off the western coast of Canada, maintaining a rough distance of around thirty kilometres, meaning they were remaining in international waters. From the USS Nimitz, five Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornets would take off, each armed with: 1× 20 mm (0.787 in) M61A2 Vulcan nose-mounted rotary cannon, 412 rounds, 4× AIM-120 AMRAAM, 2× AIM-9 Sidewinder, 3x AGM-84 Harpoon, 2x 330 U.S. gallon (1,200 L) Sargent Fletcher drop tanks, SUU-42A/A Flares/Infrared decoys dispenser pod and chaff pod. They were given orders to circle the fleet for any active combat, they would also be joined in the air by two E-2 Hawekeyes, who would be using their OTH radar systems and relaying all information to the ships.

Speaking of the ships, the destroyers and cruiser would take up defensive positions around the aircraft carrier, the whole fleet going into Condition Yoke. All doors and hatches below sea level were to be Sealed at all times, unless passing through of course, whilst all weapons would be readies and radars going full pelts to check every surface and the air. Meanwhile out of Robins AFB in Georgia, the 16th Airborne Command and Control Squadron would ready a single E-8 Joint STARS, fitted with a MS-177 camera along with all its radar and surveillance equipment, the most important for this situation would be the Ground moving target indication, which would be done by the AN/APY-7 radar system. It was tasked to fly over Toronto and take pictures of the nationalist movements in the area, along with sending the information from the AN/APY-7 radar to the ground troops. To give them exact locations of enemy positions and defences.

Thanks to British diplomatic intervention, the Liberal government would contact the Nationalists about the Islamic situation in Montreal. After a long, passive aggressive conversation, the two governments would eventually settle for a permanent truce until the Islamic forces were dealt with in Montreal, giving each other military access to their territories along with shared equipment.

In return, an election would be held once the Islamic terrorists would be pushed out of Montreal and dealt with.

The Liberal forces would attack Montreal from the southern bridges and shores as they quickly take territory, only slowed by the many traps laid by Islamic Forces. The Liberals would also amphibiously invade the docks of Montreal using small civilian ships that would go next-to undetected compared to Royal Canadian Navy ships.

As this would happen, the Nationalists would continue to push through their Montreal controlled area deeper into the heart of the city as they would focus a large amount of their forces around the city of Terrebonne, doing their best to prevent proper Islamic retreat.

The Portuguese Government would inform its overseas citizen or any Portuguese Passport bearing citizen in Canada, to leave the nation and find solace in Portugal, until the situation as been resolved by the Canadian Government. In which Lisbon is certain that Canada can handle this situation easily and in a swift manner, believing in the elected democratic institutions of the Country.

As the stranglehold closed in upon them the Islamists would use the sewers to evade the cursed infidel. Low on ammo, many of them knew what lay ahead of them - paradise. Above ground several engineers began laying more landmines and tripwire in order to save ammo for future engagements while the main force attempted to leave Montreal anyway they could. A few machine gun crews and snipers remained at their defenses waiting for the inevitable to happen. Meanwhile in Terrebonne, the Islamists began using captured artillery and whatever they could get their hands to bombard advancing enemy forces making little in the way of progress as batteries quickly ran out of ammo leaving a small force to rely on previously used hit and run tactics and suicide bombings.

As the Nationalists and the Liberals continue to take territories in Montreal they free the men who were not freed from the Nationalist and Islamist's pact of non-aggression dealings; those who still had strength to fight were given the proper equipment and joined the front lines while those who were either sick or incapable of fighting were sent to hospitals or field hospitals to be treated.

The Liberals would push the Islamic forces out of Longueil entirely while the Nationalists would take half of the Montreal island, continuing to force their way into Terrebonne leaving no prisoners.

In an extreme bout of desperation the Islamists would use the last of their explosives to demolish several crucial bridges in order to stall the advance of nationalist and liberal forces. Those fighters below ground would conduct ambushes and raids under the cover of darkness. Many would desert from the Islamists to establish splinter cells from which to continue the fight while others simply left for home. The defenders of Islamic Montreal would hold firm vowing to fight until death. All POWs in captivity would be put to death. The end drew closer and closer as their fortunes decreased.

With the death of all remaining POWs, nothing was stopping the united Canadian military from advancing without mercy. While the Liberals would try and capture some of the Islamist fighters, the Nationalist would gun them down in the streets and windows of Montreal. Only a small amount of northern Montreal remained in Islamic control as the Nationalist would continue their blood lust-fueled vengeful advance.

As the Nationalist continue their onslaught, the Liberal forces would notice some Islamist forces advancing underground and would focus their forces on routing them out. While the main Liberal forces were underground, those above ground would comb the streets and buildings for traps laid by the terrorist.

The Nationalists would fully blockade the bridge to Terrebonne and would patrol the Saint-Lawrence in hopes of catching escaping Islamists. The Nationalist forces stationed at Terrebonne would not advance and would wait for their main forces to return from Montreal before going on a full-out assault.

Snipers would observe liberal movements and would open fire on them spradically. Not long after that these snipers would be joined by Machine Gun crews anxious to inflict some megadeath upon the hated infidels. Below ground Islamists would take severly heavy casualties. In Terrebonne weeks of fierce fighting Islamist troops would burn down or demolish certain parts of city and lay mines in the road to further slow the enemies advance. There is talk of a possible surrender but that will most likely never happen.

The united Canadian military would want to finish this war between the Islamic forces and the Canadian people; bringing in their military might. Jets, helicopters, APCs, and multiple other war vehicles into the Montreal theater. With these new military boons, the Canadian military would push the Islamic forces out of Montreal and into Terrebonne or underground into the Montreal subway systems.

While the Liberal military would focus their main forces in routing out those who fled underground, the Nationalists would wedge their way into Terrebonne, using the helicopters to drop troops behind enemy lines and on rooftops, overlooking the city.

The Islamic threat would be over soon.

Islamist leaders would go into hiding shaving their beards and leaving the cities. Those troops still remaining would be in a desperate fight for survival as many Islamist fighters pile into vans with explosives on their chests ramming into enemy convoys followed by technicals which would spray enemy survivors. As the defense collapses many former fighters join the long exodus of Islamic refugees displaced by the fighting. At night death squads carry out raids on both liberal and nationalist positions taking heavy casualities and making little progress at all. In Terrebonne factories and places of vital necessity are gutted end set ablaze. The sun has set on Islam, its warriors now find their future prospects made dismal.

The Nationalist government would find a small Islamic headquarters in Terrebonne, without hesitation, they would bring their helicopters and APCs to take care of the war criminals. The helicopters would gun down the building with heavy machine gun fire while the troops in armored personnel carriers would use the vehicles as cover for their bazookas who's projectiles would be shot through the broken windows and even the front doors.

While the helicopters would continue their heavy gun fire on the higher levels of the building, the troops on the ground would begin sweeping the lower levels and taking care of survivors. Eventually the building became quite and the gunfire would be over. Whether that meant the Islamic forces of the headquarters were all taken care of or if some had escaped, would be determined.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

While the Liberal forces would suffer great casualties, they would slowly push the Islamic forces out of the subway stations, capturing high ranking officials and killing those that were deemed unimportant. Some escaped, but many were killed or captured by the time the subway stations of Montreal were clear.

Now all that was left to do is sweep the cities of Quebec for remaining Islamic forces, whether the martyrs had any fighting force left was to be seen.

But the Canadians would stand ready.

By now the Jihad was skrewed. The regular Islamic Forces would lay down their arms on orders of their commander and head home. Irregulars however had other plans for the future for now they decided to keep a low profile and stash their arms. The last remaining holdouts in Islamic territory would be declared open cities as their defenders fled the area leaving several barricades and mines. The end was here and Islam was finished on the fields of bloody battle.

The Canadians would begin celebrating their victory against the Islamic forces and all across the country the citizens would celebrate the end of the bloody civil war that had ravaged Canada for almost a month. Everyone now prepared themselves for the upcoming election, where a true change for the country would be made.

As the citizens celebrated, the military swept the cities where Islamic forces were known to be active and began to dismantle any possible deadly trap and removing Islamic propaganda. In the mean time, construction began in Montreal to slowly rebuild the city.

The elections would begin on the West Coast shortly.

At the conclusion of the civil war, Singaporean forces would make their arrival within the city of Vancouver after a short stand-off with the American fleet parked off the coast. Both LPD's were docked at the Port of Vancouver while the destroyers remained near the coast, patrolling B.C.'s coastal waters and making sure to keep their distance from the Americans.

Large numbers of food and medical supplies would be unloaded over the course of the initial hours after their arrival, with all supplies being moved to the main camp where their medical teams and personnel were stocking up the civilian camps around the city. Singaporean soldiers were spread throughout every corner of the city ahead of the elections to come. Flyers would be passed out to the locals (typically in predominately-Asian communities) regarding the nature of their mission, and civilians were subtly encouraged to vote Nationalist during the elections, as well as the encouragement of Asian candidates during upcoming local elections in B.C.

The nearly thousand-strong detachment would eventually establish patrol routes throughout British Columbia proper, rather than Vancouver itself. MH60M Blackhawks and RG-31 patrol trucks would be tasked to transport troops and supplies to areas heavily affected by combat. Slowly but surely, the presence of Singaporean Peacekeepers would be felt across the west coast of Canada.
