After debating your proposal in the Congress Levels, it has been decided that the Federation will take part of the meeting, as it has been decided that this is a topic that needs to be addressed as soon as posible. That being said, both the Chairman and one Congress-man will began their trip to Paris. I was also ordered to inform you, that although our countries are on neutral terms, the presence of countries outside of our ideology forces us to also send a substansial security escort. Rest assured, this is only for the safety of everyone involved. I must make it clear to you that the government I am representing has many misgivings due to the method utilised to bring you to power. If you had achieved power through democratic means after the deposition of Macron and his colleagues, we would have no quarrel with you, however that isn't that case. As such, do not be alarmed if you believe we are suspicious of you.

Regardless, in regards to your suggested meeting, we will definitely attend by dispatching our representative to The Iron Ring, Mr. Hakim Usta. Also, we would like to state, in the utmost confidence and secrecy, that we have made the decision to support you in your conflict with Brazil. However, that's a matter for discussion later between just France and Turkey. Meanwhile, I suggest that you consider inviting Ireland to this conference

I apologise for being unable to secure the attendance of The Grand Vizier or The Sultan. The Grand Vizier is, sadly, unable to attend due to domestic concerns, while His Majesty is unable to travel due to health concerns. However, I do assure you that Mr. Usta has full authority to do what is necessary on behalf of the government, that is the extent of the trust we have in him.

A secret communique is sent to The German Federal Ministry requesting that Hakim Usta accompany their delegation to the meeting, due to him being in Germany already, and it was likely that having one more person added to their party would be no trouble for them.

Karsten Jürke replied in an encrypted message that he would send out Karl Diercke to accompany Hakim Usta, now that there were hopes that more members of the Iron Ring could be put into place to strengthen the ties that were present.

After a lack of response from the French government for a long period of time, the Reich Chancellor took matters into her own hands, and took to secretly and privately inviting all former members of the Global Assembly to come to talk at the Volkspalast in Berlin with their Heads of State & Government included. Alongside the former members of the GA, at least one mediating party was requested to send out an ambassador to speak or observe on behalf of the Assembly. In particular, given the role that a neutral party had to play, the German government stated a preference for an ambassador from the Hague, feeling that they still felt that they were about to be cornered by other, perhaps less-neutral parties.

As before, only Hakim Usta, Turkey's representative to The Iron Ring, attended. Upon arriving in Berlin, he headed directly to The Volkspalast in search of his German counterparts.

Arriving to Berlin, the Volkspalast was already being stormed by press journalists and newscasters, likely to try and spark public debate and controversy regarding the situation at large. Upon stepping to the entrance of the Volkspalast, two soldiers carrying Karabiner-98k bolt-action rifles, wearing pickelhaubes, and possessing fierce expressions walked over to Hakim: the Kaisergarde, both of them from the 1st "Emperor Alexander" Guards' Grenadiers, as it was.

"Get back!" one of them barked as Hakim tried to pass through, other members of the unit running up to shove back paparazzi. "State your name and business!" the same one barked after having pushed Hakim back a considerable distance away from the main entrance.

Hakim raised an eyebrow at the request. Stating he was a Turkish diplomat in the middle of a crowd of journalists was the most ludicrous idea ever.

Shaking his head, he turned away from the crowd and walked down the street to one of the side entrances. The Prussian House Of Lords, now named The Volkspalast, was shaped like a U, without the curves. The space between the two wings was occupied by a gated courtyard. Meanwhile, the two wings also had side entrances that were closed off by large metal gates.

Once he had wandered into the archway, out of sight, he retrieved his mobile phone from his pocket to call The Chancellor and inform her of the crowd at the front gates, and the less conspicuous entrance he had decided to use.​

Upon taking the call, it was clear that she was in a rush, likely meeting the demands of His Majesty while trying to keep track of other government officials and documents in the building.

"Mr. Usta? I suppose you've arrived, yes?"

"That is correct. I am waiting at the eastern side entrance of the palace. The crowds of press at the front of the building are far too unruly to allow any of those invited to enter safely."

An audible groan came from the other end of the line, alongside some profane German towards, in all likelihood, an unfortunate soul to stumble into the Chancellor's way.

"Fine, fine. I'll send someone down to get you. Where are you right now?"

"The eastern side entrance of The Volkspalast," Hakim repeated, while huffing in irritation.

Upon being given the information, the Chancellor hung up rather quickly, finding and sending Foreign Minister Karsten Jürke to the eastern side entrance to recover Hakim before the crowds got any more unruly or restless. After opening the gate, Karsten gave a quick greeting and beckoned him inside.

"You're quite early. Where's the Grand Vizier and the Sultan, or a representative of him?" he asked as they walked inside the building.

"The Grand Vizier is currently indisposed due to internal affairs," Hakim explained, while swiftly walking past the minister and heading inside the building. "His Majesty is, unfortunately, physically incapable of travelling due to poor health. As such, neither could attend, however I have been blessed with the authority to represent both of them at this, and all future, meetings, as well as my usual function as Turkey's Iron Ring representative."

"Chancellor Nahles is going to be furious," Karsten chortled, his demeanor still rather calm despite the circumstances, "First, the French don't even reply or send confirmation on the meeting for Paris, she takes affairs into her own hands, and now she's dealing with an angry mob of...journalists? This is only going to add onto her shit-covered cake." Turning down the hall, the Volkspalast was rather quiet thanks to the lack of tourists going through it, but the majority of the building seemed eerily silent, with the echoes of the outside reverberating on windows.

"Still...hopefully it all works out," Karsten exclaimed with optimism. turning into the plenary chamber of the Volksrat, His Majesty could be seen flanked by 4 Kaisergarde members, and the Reich Chancellor shouting into her cellphone at some unfortunate sob at the other end of the room.

"Mr. Usta," the Kaiser cheerily greeted, walking over with a newfound confidence in his step that was far different from what had been seen over the past few months. He extended his hand with a warm smile to shake Hakim's hand as Karl Diercke, who'd previously returned to Berlin to retrieve some other items, came up to greet Hakim as well.

"I hope that the trip wasn't terrible then?"

"The only issue was getting in, Your Majesty," Hakim replied indifferently. "However, that issue has been resolved, thanks to the swift response provided by Mr. Jürke and The Chancellor. I'd like to apologise on the behalf of The Grand Vizier, he is unable to leave Turkey due to domestic matters of a pressing nature. As for His Majesty, he hopes you are well, and you are looking after a certain heirloom he gave. He also apologises, even though you are aware of the extent of his health."

"Of course, Mr. Usta," Georg confirmed, pulling out said heirloom — the pocketwatch he received at his coronation from the Sultan — from his breast pocket to swiftly check the time to ensure that people weren't running too late, before swiftly setting it back in.

"I never leave Potsdam without it. Regardless, it is a shame that the Grand Vizier could not make it, or His Majesty...but I suppose not everyone can be here. Let's only hope that other people we've 'invited' for this little get-together are going to be here soon. In the meantime, I believe you've met Chancellor Nahles and Mr. Diercke." The Kaiser gestured over to Nahles, who'd hung up her cellphone and was now looking out a window to the crowds outside and was now muttering curses about the vulturous press that seemed to circle around the Palace, and Karl Diercke, who extended his hand to shake Hakim's four consecutive times before nodding in greeting.

"Indeed, I have met all three of the government officials in our presence, Your Majesty," He confirmed. "Which actually reminds me of a matter that my colleague, Doctor Mason, has been trying to resolve. He was wondering whether anyone present knows how he would be able to get in touch with the individual in charge of Reichland Defence. There are a number of queries he wishes to pose to them regarding the procurement of certain items for The Turkish State."

"That would be Minister Nickel, wouldn't it?" the Kaiser asked in curiosity, the Chancellor giving a small nod in confirmation as he turned back.

"Defence Minister Peter Nickel would be who you would talk to. He'll either direct you to Reichland Defence's Chairman, or talk with you personally on that matter. Regardless, I don't believe that this is either the time or place for such a discussion."
