"Absolutely my friend. We will see you at the meeting in the next few days. This has been a most productive meeting. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. My government has placed the highest priority on our relationship with your nation."

With that the ambassador stood and bowed to his Chinese counterpart. Once farewells would be exchanged, the ambassador would make his way back to the embassy to relay the news to his government.

On his way out, the ambassador said, “One more thing, my government is interested in purchasing production licenses from yours. At this moment we are especially considering the Type 63 as an affordable means of troop transportation with protection against small arms fire. We are prepared to offer $25 Million for production rights, the equivalent of approximately 1000 produced units. We are also prepared to offer $35 Million for the rights to the type 90 APC. If your government is willing to sell production rights to these vehicles we would be happy to proceed. Additionally, if there are any other potentially useful licenses available, we would be happy to consider those as well.”
