Dear Minister Baykal

We greet you warmly with the hope of growing our bilateral relations. We have been made aware of Turkey's recent acquisition of an amphibious landing ship. We are extremely interested in the class of ship your nation may produce. We have looked into Turkey's domestic manufacturing capabilities and we are interested in several more of your products.

Specifically:

Osman Gazi-class Landing Ship
Yildiz-class Fast Attack Craft
Burla Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat

If Turkey is willing to sell these vessels, we would like to hear price quotes as well as any packaging your government is willing to offer.

Of course, we also are interested in non-aggression pacts, possible trade deals, and other cooperative bilateral agreements. We hope to hear from you soon.

Yours Sincerely,

池田 行彦

Yukihiko Ikeda
Minister for Foreign Affairs

Purchase Inquiry
Dear Foreign Minister Yukihiko,

I am honoured to have received your message.

We are in the situation where we can construct and export these assets you have expressed interest in. Rest assured, these are of the highest quality and best performance, should you find yourself in the unfortunate position to be using them.

The best offer we can quote you on these is as follows:

Osman-Gazi class Landing Ship - $125,000,000 per unit
Yildiz-class Fast Attack Craft - $6,000,000 per unit
Burla Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat - $90,000 per unit

I do hope that these prices are to your satisfaction. As we have not publicly commercialised the sale of military goods as of yet, we do not offer an bulk-buying discount packages at this time.

You raised the proposal on non-aggression pacts. Although interested, at this time we see no reason for a non-aggression pact between Turkey and Japan. We maintain a policy of peaceful cooperation and advocate the current global status quo; we have no aggressive intentions and hope Japan is the same.

As for trade and economic cooperation, we are wanting to engage in. What good and services is Japan exporting and importing at this time?
Our primary good for export are:

1. Vehicles
2. Electrical machinery (e.g. Computers)
3. Metals (e.g. Iron, Tungsten, Chromium etc)
4. Mineral Fuels (e.g. Petroleum, Natural Gas)
5. Clothing and accessories

Is this something your country wants to import from us?

I shall look forward to your reply.

Sincerley,

D.Baykal

Minister of Foreign Affairs
Republic of Turkey

Dear Minister Baykal

We thank you for your interest in cooperating with us. Your prices are fair and reasonable. We would like to place the following order:

5 Osman Gazi-Class Landing Ships
50 Yildiz-Class Fast Attack Craft

We are very much interested in importing your metal and clothing. We are currently exporting:

1. Vehicles
2. Machinery, including Computers
3. Electrical Machinery, Equipment
4. Optical, Technical, Medical Apparatus
5. Iron, Steel

It is our practice to engage in mutual trade agreements rather than simple Import agreements. We decide to mutually exchange a limited set of goods without the imposition of tariffs. We find such agreements far simpler and mutually beneficial.

Yours Sincerely,

池田 行彦

Yukihiko Ikeda

(OOC: Sorry this took so long. I didn’t know how my finances would look after a ton of purchases.)
