Seco Square is a 2.4 million sq ft development project consisting of commercial buildings, retail, affordable residential, leisure space and green parks. Seco includes over 1,000 new homes, 400,000 sq ft of flexible office space, a multi-storey car park & hotel, plus shops, restaurants, bars and Symphony Park, the city’s newest green space. Upon completion of the project, it will bring an influx of around 12,000 workers and 2,000 residents to the area.

10 buildings will be constructed: 3 are to be commercial office buildings, 2 to be family residential, 3 to be young professional residential, 1 to be a multi-story carpark, and 1 to be a hotel.
The first commercial building will be 12-storeys and offer 235,430 sq ft of office space. The second commercial building will be 17-storeys and offer 155,317 sq ft of office space. The third commercial building will be 15 storeys and offer 220,000 sq ft of office space.
The first family residential building will be up to 37-storeys and offer 417 apartment units ranging from 2-bedrooms to 4-bedrooms. The second family residential building will be 16-storeys and offer 266 apartment units ranging from 2-bedrooms to 4-bedrooms.
The first young professional residential building will be 18-storeys and offer 384 1-bedroom apartments. The second young professional residential building will be up to 17-storeys and offer 496 1-bedroom apartments. The third young professional residential building will be 11-storeys and offer 220 1-bedroom apartments.
In an initiative to rehome households currently living in the slums of the city, all apartments, totalling 1,783 units, will have ownership allocated to families and individuals free of charge on a needs basis. The apartments will feature the most modern and update-to-date utilities and amenities in an effort to rapidly modernise Luanda's living standards.
The development will also feature a multi-storey carpark with a capacity of 1,014 spaces and a hotel with 158 rooms.
