It is with great pleasure and elation that I write to your excellency regarding the current standing of the relations between the Kingdom of Spain and the Parliamentary Monarchy of Portugal, at time we have been rivals throughout history, when the world was a big place, filled with undiscovered riches and lands, our rivalry led to both our nations dividing the world in two parts, one for Portugal another for Spain. While at times fierce rivals, we were also at times fierce friends and brothers in the Iberian Peninsula. Let us rebuild this relationship so that both our nations continue to be staunch friends and brothers, united in commons goals and ideals.
I would also like to express great gratitue to your actions and your aid in the active fire in the industrial complex in Galicia, a true testement to what our relationship may become. As such I would be extremely happy to make Portugal our first guest in Spain, as such we would like to invite you to Madrid to inniciate talk regarding trade and cooperation. While the Galician Fire is certainly a disaster for everyone involved, please do remember that we are ready to help Spain at any disaster as much as we can. The Iberian Peninsula wouldn't be the same without one or the other, and we strive to make a foundation for a better future for all of the Iberian peoples.

I am elated that you have accepted my invitation to Madrid, and we will also extend this invitation to your Minister of Foreign Affairs, so that in this way we can, as you said, cooperate at a elevated level and build our relationship stronger. Regarding Security Personnel you are authorized to bring up to 10 Personal Security, which will cooperate with the Spanish Authorities to ensure your safety, and you are authorized to have 2 of the 10 with you at all times. I advise that they should only have on them handguns for protection to ensure the security of everyone involved. A convoy will be waiting outside of the airport to escort you and your staff to my official residence which is where we will meet, after this we will have a informal lunch at 13h:15m where we can discuss more of our agreements in a more relax manner. Preparations would start to be made in the MADRID-BARAJAS AIRPORT for the arrival of the Portuguese Dignitaries, a landing strip was to be reserved for the Arrival of the Portuguese Plane carrying said dignitaries, a VIP convoy would be waiting outside to take them to the Prime Minister office where they would meet. It was just 15 to 30 min flight from Lisbon to Madrid, so they wouldn't take long to arrive.

The aircraft, a leased airline courtesy of TAP would ready her engines as they prepare for take-off. In a matter of seconds, the throttle would be pushed forward making the engines scream louder and louder as the air below the wings carries the plane upward. It wouldn't be long until they found themselves within Spanish airspace, and soon they would reach Madrid. The flight would go smoothly, the Royal Dragoon members quietly inspecting everyone onboard. While surely the first escort mission of the Dragoons, they were expected to give out their best.

"Tower this is Águia-zero-one."

The plane would touchdown on the runway, and soon the Portuguese delegation would disembark. The Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister, accompanied by some of their secretaries and the assigned guards would walk down on Spanish ground, something that hasn't been done for quite a long time. They would approach their assigned convoy and enter as scheduled.

A Diplomat would be there to greet them arriving at the nation, the Spanish Security would immediately exchange the security channel with their portuguese counterparts for a better cooperation between the teams. They would be escorted in to the convoy waiting for them. They would drive of with the convoy, going through the streets of Madrid with various people waving towards the convoy.

They would reach on the footsteps of the Palace of Moncloa, where the Prime Minister of Spain would be waiting for the Portuguese Prime Minister. The door would be open by an aid and the Prime Minister of Portugal would be escorted to Mr. Rafael Cortés, where he would extend his hand for a handshake. While speaking Portuguese to show courtesy to his guest.

"It is great to have you here Mr. Nogueira, the Kingdom of Spain welcomes you with open arms." He would say with a open wide smile while shaking his hand.

The Prime Minister would be in awe at the sight of the palace, taking in the scenery of the landscape. As they would disembark from the convoy; the assigned guards would follow suit, coordinating with their Spanish counterparts to make the meeting go as smoothly as possible. The delegation would walk towards the Spanish Prime Minister, with Donato taking the lead. While visibly flattered by his counterpart's Portuguese, he would reply.

"It's my pleasure Mr. Cortés. It's an honor to set foot here in Spain. I'd like to extend my gratitude to your reception, as it's been wonderful so far."

Cortés would be visibly happy to meet his counterpart, he would retorque by saying and gesturing towards his side. He would adjust himself a little more to the side so that the Prime Minister could join him. The guards would coordinate with the Portuguese, by surrounding at a safe distance both Prime Ministers.

"Please, please come beside me, the Royal Orchestra will be playing both our anthems, yours will be first as being the visiting dignitary"

The Portuguese Anthem would be played by the orchestra, while the anthem was being played, various ceremonial guards would walk in front, in the street before them, saluting both Prime Ministers, it would be small ceremony. Once the anthem stopped, they would stand in front of both Prime Ministers and salute them once more. Loudly shouting in Spanish "THE KINGDOM OF SPAIN WELCOMES THE PRIME MINISTER OF PORTUGAL TO ITS TERRITORY!" And at the end of the phrase, the Spanish anthem would start, they would once again move out of the way in a cerimonial fashion while saluting both Prime Ministers.

The Portuguese delegation would be at awe on the ceremonies, thinking it would just be a light visit. The Prime Minister would thank the band for such a wonderful rendition of the country's anthem. After both were played, Portuguese journalists eager to take a scoop would ask for pictures of the party. After a while, the Nogueira would face his Spanish counterpart.

"This is wonderful, Mr. Cortes. I believe we Portuguese have to step it up a notch once you decide to visit Lisbon! Nonetheless, shall we proceed towards the meetings?"

After some pictures were taken by the press Rafael Cortés would answer his friend.

"Thank you for your kinda words Mr. Nogueira, I'm sure I'll visit Lisbon in the very near future! Yes lets shall" He would gesture towards the door, and they would be guided towards the office of the prime minister, along the way they would exchange handshakes and greetings to the staff and other secretaries. Finally they would arrive at the office where Cortés would gesture for Nogueira to have a seat next to him.

"Please, can I get you anything? Water? Tea prehaps?"

The Portuguese delegation would be shocked at the sincere politeness and hospitality the Spanish have shown them. Certainly it was a break from the constant misery of the world around them. Nogueira would sit down and pat down his suit, as he awaits for the discussion to commence. Out of nowhere, a young Portuguese intern would arrive, carrying a bottle of the finest Portuguese wine spmeone can ever afford.

"Oh, we almost forgot, a gift from our hardened Portuguese workers."

"This is wonderful! This one is extremely good I can tell.. well everything that comes out of the hands of the Portuguese is good, especially excellent wine!" Water would be brought to the both of them by the a Spanish Aide.
