Government of Sweden
Löfven Administration
As part of a recent modernisation of the Swedish Royal Air Force, the decision has been made to publicly auction air-to-air refuelling aircraft no longer within the vision of the Swedish Armed Forces. The auction will be governed by the Swedish Business Administration which sits within the Department of Defence and will run for seven days after the date of the first bid whilst reserving the right to conclude bidding at the achievement of a satisfactory value; bidding will start at the price of $70,000,000 per unit (beginning at below production cost).
Lockheed Martin KC-130J [2 available]
The aircraft has been stripped of any Swedish Royal Air Force insignia and will be delivered at factory standard.
Any placed bids are legally binding to the completion of a sale and cannot be withdrawn once submitted.
Sale of any equipment by the Swedish Business Administration is subject to global defence sales restrictions in place by the Department of Defence.
