Syria is a nation that had ceased to exist after the fall of the Russia-backed Assad’s totalitarian regime. The enduring devastating humanitarian crisis on an unprecedented scale since the collapse of the United Nations is a dire situation that the international community must unequivocally affirm its commitment to social justice and the right to a dignified life. Thailand unambiguously asserts that the Global Assembly has categorically failed to uphold its sacred charter. Article 1 of such a charter compels all members to take collective and effective measures to maintain global peace and security at all costs.

Thailand condemns the Russian Federation in the fiercest possible terms for its continued violation of Syrian sovereignty and propagation of ruinous humanitarian costs unprecedentedly inflicted upon the Syrian people. The country’s military presence and intervention are a plain-spoken caricature of international laws and the Syrian people’s right to be freed from the totalitarian regime of the Assad’s empire that had massacred its people for decades. The incoming independent and spontaneous reports from Syria paint an appalling picture of a landscape tortured by the Russian autocrats and imperialistic military that seek nothing but to rape Syrian children, exploit Syrian workers, kill Syrian fathers, and conquer the Syrian nation.

The Russian Federation fantasizes that its military intervention is a counterterrorism mission intended to stabilize the situation, a charge that is utterly devoid of any actuality. Anyone with the slightest bit of common sense comprehends that the situation in Syria is now worse than ever, with even more death and destruction than before. The Russian military dares to pretend that it is achieving the aims of peace, chasing after alleged Islamic extremists, and that it is also concerned about the humanitarian situation in Syria. But the fact of the matter is that the Russian Federation’s real mission is to continue protecting the fallen regime of his ally, brutal dictator Bashar al-Assad.

The Socialist Republic of Thailand reaffirms firmly the inviolable right of the Syrian people to chart their destiny, free from foreign pressure or imperial fiat. Syria's independence is not a great-power negotiation chip to be bartered between world powers, nor a prize to be occupied by opportunistic aggressors. It is a right born to the Syrian people alone, to be exercised by truly participatory and democratic means, free from military coercion or manipulation. Any outside power which dares to dictate the political fate of Syria, either through outright military intervention or insidious manipulations, is destroying the very foundations of international law and the absolute right of national self-determination. Thailand unequivocally denounces any attempt to usurp the sovereign intention of the Syrian people.

In stark contrast to the abysmal conduct of the Russian Federation, the Socialist Republic of Thailand's foreign policy is founded on the untouchable pillars of human rights, democracy, and justice. These are not mere rhetorical flourishes, but the very beacons that guide us in our relations with the world at large. Our Participatory Socialist Democracy, decentralized structures, and unyielding commitment to egalitarianism are a vigorous condemnation of Russia's calculating power reckoning, cynically trading human dignity and national sovereignty at the altar of geopolitical expediency. Thailand advocates a world order founded on mutual respect, participatory democracy, and social justice, a vision that is incompatible with the anachronistic imperialism and autocratic contempt for human rights openly exhibited by the Russian Federation in Syria.

The Global Assembly, supposedly established to secure international peace and security, is now confronted with an examination of its legitimacy. The atrocities in Syria, together with the Russian Federation's blatant violation of international law and human rights, call for a resolute and collective action by the international community. All member states must transcend petty national interests and uphold the original values of the Charter of the Global Assembly. The world cannot remain idle while a sovereign nation is annihilated and its people subjected to unspeakable atrocities. Accountability has to be called for, and a just and peaceful resolution, grounded in international law and Syrian self-determination, must be sought tenaciously through multilateral and collective efforts, or else the very foundations of world order will erode into obsolescence.

It is unambiguous evidence that the proletarian revolution in Thailand is part of the historically and materially grounded international movement toward eventual global communism.

Thailand officially recognizes the establishment of the People’s Republic of Türkiye as a legitimate and democratic successor of the previous nation-state of the Republic of Türkiye. We welcome the new people’s government under the leadership of President Aysa Aslan. The Confederal Government of Thailand expresses its earnest interest in engaging in a high-level and transparent dialogue with the new Turkish nation. Thailand commends the Turkish people for their courageous and decisive action and praises the leading role of Turkish trade unions and various societal organizations. We perceive this revolution as a clear rejection of tyranny, corruption, and inequality. The Confederal Thai Government congratulates President Aysa Aslan on her democratic and fair election and assumption of the highest office of her nation.
