Brigadier General Avi Gil would open his laptop, transferring the flight path, trajectory, flight information, pictures & radio transmissions onto the big screen for the coalition to view and listen to as found here. He rose from his seat to speak to everyone in the room once again.

"We can provide access to Ashdod Naval Base to the United States for them to refuel and replenish their oilers. It is mainly a base for our Patrol Boats Squadron so with it being a small base, you would have to replenish your vessels one at a time I'm afraid due to our other ports at current capacity. We will also allow the Australian Government to station their fleet at Eilat until they move into the Mediterranean."

General Kvashnin would speak up. "Israel is clearly the target of Turkey's aggression. As such, it's fair to say that if war does break out, Turkey will be sending the majority of their efforts towards them. Therefore, the Ministry of Defense will grant Israel temporary partnership with Rosoboronexport until this threat is dealt with. I would advise that Israel invest in purchasing some S-300V SAM Systems, they'll be able to knock out any Turkish ballistic missiles before they reach any major area. Two systems should be more than enough to cover all of Israeli airspace. If needed, I'd advise investing in either Patriots or S-300s as well, this would deal with potential future Turkish aircraft far more quickly.

Additionally, if Canada requires military equipment to expand their contributions we can issue your nation a 10% discount alongside temporary partnership on Rosoboronexport."

"We appreciate the offer from the Russians and our government is preparing a restructuring under the Ministry of Finance and will be seeking a loan from our friends at Sparrow Industries in order for us to acquire extra equipment which would help us in a potential war against the Turkish Armed Forces. We will submit an offer to Rosoboronexport in due course."

"To address the question from our American counterparts as for deployed assets, we would appreciate if the USAF was able to deploy air superiority fighters to support our own complement and air policing in the region. Especially now that we have seen a Turkish incursion into Israel. This would be beneficial, along with any of your own surface to air missiles to support our Rapiers, or even anti-ballistic missiles as a precaution. Anything else that you would like to deploy to Cyprus in preparation is at your discretion. As for logistics, I can confirm the UK will be deploying helicopters among other equipment to Cyprus. We are happy to provide a vertical replenishment at sea for any supplies such as food, medical or even ammunition to support any vessels in the Med."

The Canadian General's mobile phone would ping on the table. Placing on his reading glasses he would look at the screen;

"Gentlemen, the Turkish President has been on the television. I have just been sent the speech. I would like to draw your attention to the following points, he has threatened to the send any foreign naval presence in the Eastern Mediterranean to the bottom of the sea, as well as closing the Bosphorus straits. This is clearly a breach of international maritime law and the closure of the Bosphorus strait effectively closes access to the black sea.

I fear from that speech alone, the Turkish are clearly planning an attack against our forces in the Med."

"Given the obvious intent for the Turkish to blur the facts to the media, I feel the need to make it clear to this room that in our view the presence of assets in the Mediterranean Sea is not an escalation of force and must rather an essential responsible response to the growing threat to life, limb and property. The statement made by the Turkish President should be treated as profound threat to our coalition. Certainly from our perspective we will not be intimidated into withdrawing from our support in the region and we will be taking steps to ensure our non-combatant assets are safe from attack, which undoubtedly will include the deployment of further combative equipment as a deterrent.

I hope that this coalition sees a similar bigger picture. Turkey is clearly hoping that we are pressured into withdrawal out of fear of public perception. We are not the hostile party.

My questions for the Israeli Brigadier General is quite simple: if a substantiated threat to our maritime assets is identified does Israel have the capability for the deployment of aerial assets in a defensive capacity whilst also maintaining the integrity of their own air space and borders? and would you be willing to facilitate the deployment of foreign aerial assets for ease of deployment into the Mediterranean?"

"I'd like to turn my attention to the question pointed out by the Swedish officer. We have moving assets from their home ports into the Mediterranean Sea to better assist our coalition partners. We do have the capabilities to assist our coalition partners should they need assistance should any incidents begin to occur. We will be able to facilitate the arrival of foreign assets in the coming days ahead as our military units are undergoing some emergency restructuring as we look to move less important units to other bases and other important assets to bases close to the border to protect and deploy assets in the quickest possible time."

A member of General Kvashnin's entourage would arrive in the room, having come from their given office. In his hands was a fax. Handing it over, the General would quickly read over it.

"This is from the Ministry of Defense in Moscow." The General would say. "It seems they wish to disclose everything that Russia has produced for Turkey in the hopes of aiding our cause. Before Rosoboronexport blacklisted them, we've produced the following for their armed forces: 25 A-222E Bereg Coastal Artillery Systems, 100 ZSU-23-4M4 Shilka SPAAG, 10 S-300 PMU SAM Systems, 8 4K44 Redut-M Anti-Ship Missile Systems, 20 Bal Coastal Defense Missile Systems, 15 Bora-class Missile Hovercrafts, 20 Tsaplya-class LCACs, 25 BMP-3 Infantry Fighting Vehicles, and 60 PTS-M Cargo Vehicles." The man would think for a moment. "The S-300s, Bals, and Redut-M systems will cause issues. I would assume that the Bals and Redut-Ms are placed where proper naval warfare would be a problem, likely the Aegean and Marmara Seas. But we can only guess."

"It seems the Turkish Government mentioned in their speech that Saudi Arabia would help in stopping weapons shipments to Israel and they also praised Saudi Arabia, and the Congo, for their support. If Saudi Arabia was to join the war with Turkey, we might see a different front open up. For the time being, our forces are going to stay in the Red Sea to act as a deterrent against Saudi Arabia. As the only nation of this Coalition on the Indian Ocean, we will take it personally upon ourselves to keep Saudi Arabia at bay. From the intelligence we have, their military has never been as big as Turkey's and we feel quite confident we can, if needed, annihilate their forces to send them back packing into Riyadh. I would be reluctant to attack Saudi Arabia, given the status of Mecca and Medina to the Muslim world. That could anger a lot of people, but I will not hesistate to engage Saudi forces should they present themselves as a threat to Australian forces or Israel. Given that, I can feel pretty confident that if you want to send weapons to Israel, do so through Eilat. The Turks aren't in the Red Sea and if the Saudis try anything while our forces are there I can ensure you they will have a rough time.

I would ask that the Israeli Defence Force maintain an appropriate amount of ground forces in the south of Israel to counter any Saudi Arabian invasion."

"In the same breath as the decision by Rosoboronexport to block exports, we have instructed Aselsan, Turkish Aerospace Industries and Roketsan to echo this decision. I strongly believe that sanctions are likely to be our most effective way of preventing this from escalating or at least preventing Turkey from growing ever stronger with sophisticated equipment - combined in this room are the majority shareholders for a significant portion of international defence corporations, it's one place we could substantially dent the Turkish build-up.

Brigadier General we'd be looking to send at least a couple of fighter squadrons from the Swedish Royal Air Force, is this something you can accommodate sooner rather than later? I have to remain accountable for the men and women putting their lives on the line in the Mediterranean, as does everyone here. I need to ensure I can defend my own assets, as well as yours."

The Air Vice-Marshal would turn to the British General.

"What assets have you got at Diego Garcia to defend that base should it come under attack from a nation like Saudi Arabia? We're ready to deploy Airfield Defence Guards should the requirement be necessary. We might need anti-air missiles though. I also have intelligence from submarine reconnaissance that shows that there are 3 Udaloy-class destroyers based at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia operated by the Royal Saudi Navy." He would place the images from the submarine of the destroyers docked at Jeddah on the table.

"We assume the rest of the Royal Saudi Navy fleet is on the Persian Gulf side."

"Thank you for concern, Vice-Marshal, but aside from a pit stop, we are not looking for military deployments to take place at Diego Garcia. If there were an intrusion, we would deploy forces based on what is required although this would just be a waste of resources for the Turkish and Saudi Military. In the event that this conflict escalates, I think we do need to plan for what our response would be in relation Turkey and, potentially Saudi Arabia. Would we commit to carrying out an air war originally? If so, all parties need to be conducting intelligence gathering operations to allow us to pick strategic targets which could be beneficial to ending the war as quickly as possible."

"I would like to ask members whether they would like to invite the French Republic to coalition talks. They have pledged a naval task force to Israel and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft which will of course provide us with certain capabilities that other member countries may lack in or lack skills in that area. I think having France on board would provide us with more numbers to end this evil Turkish regime and rescue many Turkish Jews detained in Turkey."

"We have some new intelligence acquired from a helicopter reconnaissance mission. A much more dire piece of intelligence. It appears the Royal Saudi Army is amassing an invasion force outside of the town of Haql in Saudi Arabia on the Gulf of Aqaba. Its near the border with Jordan. We found a total of 200 AMX-30 Main Battle Tanks and 70 Astros II Multiple-Launch Rocket Systems." He would place the pictures acquired from the helicopters on the table.

"It appears, from these images that Saudi Arabia is amassing an invasion force. One would assume Israel would be the target but there are no amphibious watercraft anywhere along the coastline. We have concerns that Saudi Arabia may invade Jordan in an attempt to then invade Israel, as Israel and Saudi Arabia are seperated by a small piece of Jordanian territory. I think it would be wise we alerted Jordan of this, but I want to hear your thoughts. We do not know where Jordan stands on this matter, but they have historically been a country in recent years that has been more favourable to Israel and attempts to avoid conflict. I would strongly advise Israel maintains a ground force in the south of Israel to counter any Saudi invasion.

We also believe we need to start working on a plan to free these 15,000 or so Jews held in captivity in Turkey. We know where they are, Turkey was stupid enough to make that information public. We do not know the defences surrounding the prison and we would need some more information on that. I am not proposing an invasion of Turkey but I am proposing a skirmish into Turkey to free these people from the edge of genocide and then retreat back. We have Special Forces on our ships in the Red Sea ready to respond to any multi-national raid on the prison. We have already granted any Jew in Turkey a humanitarian visa to come to Australia. We think that would be wise given our proximity away from the conflict, but they will obviously be given safe haven in Israel but I feel some may not want to remain that close to Turkey, especially if Turkey seek to kill them after we have freed them which is a likely possibility."

"It seems we're getting reports now that the Congolese have turned on the Turkish and have seized the prison where the Jews were held. We need to lend any and all support to the Congolese in these efforts NOW and I mean NOW, time is of the essence. If this Coalition doesn't get off its backside we will not be afraid to go independently and take matters into our own hands. Innocent people are dying, this is no time to be as we say in Australia: "piss farting around"."

"Not that I disagree but rather than insulting the coalition to get off its backside, and rushing in recklessly which would cause more deaths. What plan are you suggesting? Deploying a Special Operations Group? What about air defences? Are you wanting to instigate the war? Maybe an air war supported by Special Operations? How do you plan to safely insert forces and get them out? As far as I'm aware, the Congo Peacekeepers are limited in numbers. I suppose you could do a water insertion but what about the Turkish Navy? I appreciate your haste but other than we need to do something, you've not given any plan on what you intend or want to see happen. We are willing to contribute Special Forces to support it but it's hard to justify a plan that consists of 'Get them'. Then how do you get all those prisoners out too? How far is the nearest airstrip? Can we risk air missions without knowing where air defence is?"

"I was just alerting you to the seriousness of the situation. So far, no one has particularly raised it. It is rapidly changing by the hour. We've asked the Congolese for all the intelligence they have. We do need to know about Turkish Air Defences, when we do, I think we need to implement an immediate shock and awe and air campaign to cripple the Turkish Air Force, gain air superiority and as a result clear a path for the evacuation of upwards of 19,000 people which would take an immense amount of cargo aircraft ferrying back and forth. The closest airport is Tekirdağ Çorlu Airport, it has a runway capable of most jet aircraft. Its about 25km by road from the prison. We would need enough forces to take that airport, secure the route between the prison and the airport, enough vehicles to ferry people to the airport, enough cargo aircraft to ferry people out of the airport and enough combat aircraft to maintain total air superiority over that entire European part of Turkey. We can then transport people to Greece or Bulgaria with the permission of their governments and if thats not possible, Sevastopol with the permission of Ukraine?

What ideas do you have General?"

"Not to back peddle but you had only just said that if the coalition didn't, Australia would do it alone but then say it was to alert us of the seriousness? In future, I'd recommend taking a moment and thinking of the actions you're proposing. Unfortunately it's not as simple as sending in a bunch of people, outnumbered, into Turkey. The location of the prison is not ideal, most the coalition are in proximity to Cyprus whereas the prison is on the opposite side and the only countries here who have access to that is the US and Russia. Unless an insertion takes place up the Aegean Sea but it wouldn't be much of a surprise to the Turks. Not to free over nineteen thousand prisoners then transport them 15 miles to evacuate them via air.

If an air war was to take place, it would need everyone in the coalition to be in agreement and offer a substantial amount to best Turkey's Air Force, and focus on taking out air defence but I don't think this would be for the goal of freeing the detained as it would be a logistical nightmare. Whereas if we carried out an air war and achieved air superiority, with special forces on the ground locating and destroying SAM Sites, we may be able to tackle the main issue which is the current government. If we can remove the current government out of power and promote a new one that would see Turkey become less.... North Korean, we may be able to free those in the prison that way. Whether that's the best course of action is a different story."

"Well we would do it alone, but I would prefer it was done as a Coalition, General, therefore I'm alerting you to the seriousness of the situation. So I don't get your point really....

General I'm afraid we're running out of time, these 19,000 people are on an imminent path to genocide. We of course can free them by taking down the Turkish Government, but Turkey will put up a fight before we go to Istanbul and Ankara and achieve just that. What I'm proposing is overwhelming their force in the European part of the country where the prison is through air superiority, hold off the Turkish for the time being whilst we evacuate those people and then retreat. It may piss them off more but it may also send them a very stern message and they back down. It's a gamble, but I don't see anything in the conflict being anything less than a gamble. Half the work has already been done by the Congolese anyway, what I'm saying is... we get on this opportunity while we can. If these 19,000 people are killed and we say we sat back and did nothing.... that will be on us, on our reputation, on our conscience, for a very long time to come."

"While we disagree with the movement to start an all our war. I believe we should consider bringing the matter to the General Assembly to secure international support for a no fly zone above Turkey. We can then consider Suppression of Enemy Air Defences operations as well as stopping the Turkish from launching their jets. When the time comes, and if necessary, strikes can be taken against the Turkish navy before it left port.

Turkey is becoming increasingly more erratic as time passes, the longer we leave it the greater the threat becomes to the Jewish people. Especially with Congo currently operating against Turkey, the risk is the highest it's ever been to the Jews."
